Acording to reports, DMC (real name Darrel Mcdaniels) was admitted to a New Jersey hospital Thursday after suffering from pain and swelling in his right arm. Upon his arrival, doctors discovered two major bloodclots. Mcdaniels is scheduled to have surgery today to correct the situation. He was also scheduled to make an appearance at the AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament, which will be televised nationally on NBC.

6 Nike could sue Nigo, but the company probably wouldn\'t win.
Anyone who\'s ever looked at one of A Bathing Ape\'s popular Bapestas has surely noticed their striking similarity to Nike\'s Air Force 1s-sans swoosh and plus gaudy colorways. Though neither Nike nor Nigo will comment on this astounding likeness, one can\'t help but wonder if Nike could sue Nigo for patent infringement? "If [a sneaker is] functionally the same but looks a little different, you\'re safe," says Dick Turner, a partner at the Sughrue law firm in Washington, D.C. "Changing things just a little bit will change the look enough where it will be outside of the design patent. To win on a design patent it almost has to be copied." Sneaker companies file for design and technology patents by submitting a drawing to the United States Patent and Trademark Offices. (According to the USPTO\'s website, Nike owns over 2,000 patents.) While design patents are a fairly recent phenomenon, it\'s much easier to file for technology infringement. "Take the [Reebok] Pumps," Turner says. "Anybody else that makes a pump-able shoe is going to have problems regardless of what it looks like. It covers a pretty big area of real estate." And thus it seems that Nigo may continue pumping Air Faux-ce 1s all the livelong day, ay!

For those who believe Nike i.d. is the best thing since shelltoes, peep game. Before sneaker customization went from niche hobby to overpriced mainstream trend, Vans was on it. With its understated designs, Vans may not seem like a beacon of cutting-edge creativity. But don\'t get it twisted; the company started customizing sneakers in March 1966. Founder Paul Van Doren believed in selling shoes directly to customers and allowed them to bring fabric to the factory to be turned into a shoe. "We\'re known for having funky patterns and doing Hawaiian prints, and stuff like that," explains Vans spokesperson Chris Overholser. "And the way that started was people would bring in their board shorts that got too ratty, and we could pull fabric from them and make them into shoes." The company put a halt to its custom business when its factories moved overseas in 1995. In 2004, Vans got back in the game with its website, shop.vans.com. Who want what?

20 In 2001, K-Swiss acquired the rights to Royal Elastics. Royal Elastics prides itself on making sneakers that are "elasticated." Ironically, K-Swiss are designed to prevent stretching.

21 In True Crime: New York City, players have to search for special-edition Puma sneakers and return them to shoe stores. Puma produced the actual Puma x True Crime RS-100 sneaker, and they could be found in the same stores featured in the video game.
22 When the original Nike Dunk pack was released in school colors to NCAA basketball teams (Michigan, Syracuse, Kentucky), Georgetown wanted to have its own distinct model. As a result, the team received a Terminator that read "Hoyas" across its back.
23 In 1985, the NBA banned the red and black Air Jordan Is because they were "too colorful," and fined Jordan for wearing them. The move spawned the marketing campaign "Banned By The NBA."

24 On May 27, 1990, a huge shipment of Nikes got lost at sea.
In one of the strangest shipping accidents ever, 80,000 pairs of Nikes went missing in the Pacific Ocean en route from South Korea to the U.S. Oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer has been recovering Air Solo Flight, Strike Force, and Pegasus from that overboard shipment ever since. "Nike makes durable shoes," says Ebbesmeyer. "Apparently they\'re tougher than the ocean." Now, Ebbesmeyer tracks their movement. "If you follow the shoes you can follow the currents." He says a shoe from the spill can drift at an average rate of seven miles per day. "There\'s 24,000 miles around the Earth at the equator. So they\'ve been floating long enough to go around the world twice." Dope floats, indeed.

25 Sneakers got their first shine on the silver screen in 1961.
In addition to talking deer and magic nannies, Walt Disney Pictures was also the first movie studio to highlight performance sneakers. In the 1961 film The Absent Minded Professor, physical chemistry prof Ned Brainard invents a gravity defying substance called Flubber ("flying rubber") and successfully tests it on the struggling basketball team. With a little dab of Flubber added to the soles of its players\' sneakers, Medfield overcomes a 43-point deficit and defeats rival Rutland College. Knicks fans, relax; movies are make-believe. You\'ve got about as good a chance of getting your hands on Flubber as you do getting Starbury and Stevie Franchise to improve their teammates.

26 Bulletproof?
When hip-hop and skateboard culture converged, it was a no-brainer that some poor skate kid was gonna get shot. Luckily for Dante Formosa, he was wearing pro Colin McKay\'s signature Havocs from DC Shoes. On July 4, 2004, Dante-12 years old at the time-was enjoying a Philadelphia fireworks show when shots rang out. "I looked down and saw a hole in my shoe. I took my shoe off. It was all bloody," Dante told NBC News. "My friend pulled out a bullet." Apparently DC\'s rugged design, meant to protect from grip-tape abuse, slowed the stray bullet. Dante was wounded, but it could have been much worse. "I am happy that our durability can stop a bullet; my next shoe will have Kevlar sides just for that reason," jokes Colin McKay. "Oh, and they will work well for skating, too." While never intending to produce a shoe that could withstand a blast of lead, DC does build skate shoes tough enough to handle the rigors of skateboarding. "We test our kicks in the most abusive way possible-with a skateboard," says DC Founder and Chief Brand Officer Ken Block. He wouldn\'t comment on the possibility of stealing G-Unit from RBK.

27 The Beatles felt Nike subverted their "Revolution."
In 1987, Nike used the Beatles song "Revolution" in a commercial after reportedly paying Capitol Records Inc. $250,000 for the North American licensing rights. Apple Records, the Beatles\' recording company across the pond, had adamantly opposed the transaction and sued Nike Inc., Capitol Records Inc., EMI Records Inc., and the Wieden+Kennedy advertising agency for $15 million. Capitol-EMI said that Apple director and shareholder Yoko Ono had supported the deal. An out-of-court settlement eventually resolved a tangled web of lawsuits between the Beatles and their American and British record companies, and the terms have been kept secret. In March 1988, Nike stopped airing ads featuring "Revolution." When in doubt, blame Yoko. (JM)

28 Michael Jordan nearly ended his Nike sponsorship after his first two sneakers. In an attempt to convince MJ of Nike\'s commitment to him, designer Tinker Hatfield included him in the design process-an unprecedented move at the time. The Jordan III was the first in the line to featurethe Jumpman logo, and it helped convince him to stay.
29 Michael Jordan wanted to sign with Adidas in 1984, not Nike. He was a self-described "Adidas nut," and told his agent that if the deal was even close he\'d sign with them.

It is not the first computer shoe, however. In 1984, the Adidas Micropacer boasted a digital pedometer in the tongue that displayed distance, time, average speed, and caloric expenditure. By 1985, the more complex Puma RS featured a computerized pedometer that could transfer data to an Apple IIe or Commodore 64 after the run. With improved technology, now humans can serve their computer masters even while running from them!

38 Footloose
Eccentric, 6\'11" NBA center Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins was a true pioneer. In 1975 he was the first high school player to go directly to the league, and he made history by shattering a backboard with a dunk in 1979. His oddest groundbreaking came in \'82, when the Nike-endorsed behemoth was offered money by rival brand Pony. Instead of taking sides, he took the money and wore one shoe from each company (Nike wasn\'t amused and promptly dumped Dawkins). Okay, considering that Dawkins claimed to hail from the planet Lovetron, where his girl Juicy Lucy still lived, it may not have been his oddest moment.

39 The name Adidas was derived from its founder, Adolf "Adi" Dassler. Puma was started by Rudolf Dassler, Adi\'s brother, in 1948, after the two had a personal falling out.

"Everybody picked the pump ball first, but once they tried [the Romulus] on, the conversion rate was 100 percent." Still, neither guarantees a Slam Dunk title.

The underdog West German soccer team was down 2-0 to Hungary\'s "Mighty Magyars"-undefeated since 1950-and having trouble with the stadium\'s sloppy turf. "Adi had a very close relationship with the team and worked with them," says Ben Pruess, Global Head of Heritage for Adidas. "He introduced a new piece of footwear with a screw-in stud, which gave players better traction." Germany pounced with two quick goals to tie the match 2-2, and with six minutes left, Helmut Rahn scored the game winner after Hungary\'s keeper slipped on the wet grass. It was Germany\'s first World Cup, but more importantly, inspired a nation devastated by war. "This sporting event really gave them pride," Pruess says. Proof positive, a dramatic feature about events surrounding the game, Das Wunder Von Bern, was released in Germany in 2003. Adidas is for the children!

67 MTV refuses to play Nelly\'s "Air Force Ones" clip.
"Air Force Ones" were the three dirrty words Nelly couldn\'t say on Music Television. In early 2003, MTV, MTV2, and VH1 banned the "Air Force Ones" video due to excessive product placement. It might not produce an anthem like "My Adidas," but legendary rapper DMC has found his new fit in upscale French sneaker brand Le Coq Sportif. After seeing Run\'s "Time For A Change" Phat Farm sneaker campaign and undergoing personal revelations (he recently discovered that he was adopted), D went searching for a shoe that would match his new persona. When a friend brought him to Le Coq Sportif\'s showroom, he immediately knew he\'d found a sneaker for an older Darryl "DMC" McDaniels. "In the \'80s, I was always afraid to mess with it because it was too fly for me," D remembers. "I can get fly now." While artists like the Fresh Prince and LL Cool J were known to rock the triangle rooster in the \'80s, the brand (which was actually owned by Adidas until 1995) has been largely unknown to American consumers in the last 10 years. "DMC is known for making Adidas what it is today," says Jennifer Delevante, Marketing Communications Director of newly launched Le Coq Sportif North America. "He considered Adidas to be part of his great past, but he\'s reinventing himself, and he needed something new. He\'s become a brand ambassador." While the company\'s new ads will be tied to the release of his new album, Checks, Thugs and Rock \'n Roll, D is more than just a public face. With input in colorways, cuts, and styles, he\'s helping to define the future of the brand. "I\'m not just another rapper with a sneaker line. That\'s the worst thing that I could ever do," he says. "We didn\'t do Adidas for any commercial reasons, that\'s what we wore. This is what I wear now." Just close your eyes and imagine a concert hall with thousands of 40-year-olds holding their Le Coq Sportifs proudly over their heads.

"The original owner came to Venice Beach," explains current C.E.O., owner, and ex pro-skater Pierre André Senizergues, "and saw Natas on the cover of Thrasher, so he went to a local skate shop, got his address, went to his house, and found him. When ESPN\'s Kevin Wilde and David Jacoby decided to make a show about sneakers, Bobbito Garcia was the first and last name on their list of hosts, and rightly so. Garcia, famous for hosting Stretch Armstrong\'s popular \'90s college radio show, penned the groundbreaking article "Confession of a Sneaker Addict" in The Source in 1991, as well as the sneaker culture tome, Where\'d You Get Those? New York City\'s Sneaker Culture: 1960 to 1987 [Testify, \'02]. The producers had no idea the resulting half-hour show, which airs on ESPN2 at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday nights, and features segments on sneakerhead dons like Flight Club\'s Chris Ridell, and celebs Carmelo Anthony and Trick Daddy, would expose F-A-B-O\'s F-A-U-X collection. "All the kids on niketalk.com were like, \'Yo, Fabolous was showing some fake Jordans on the screen and he didn\'t even know it,\'" Bobbito recalls. "I don\'t think he knows to this day." The same haters might be inclined to think that Fab\'s kicks aren\'t the only phony thing about sneaker TV. "You got a host that got legitimacy up his fuckin\' asshole," says Bobbito, unfazed. "So just sit back and enjoy it."

90 Hungar For More
Thought every corner of the universe had been dusted for retro sneakers? Not quite. In 1971, Hungarian athletic shoe company Tisza introduced sneakers in communist Eastern European countries as an alternative to the standard-issue leather shoes. When the Iron Curtain dropped in 1989, Western brands soon buried the once popular Tiszas. "Slowly, we are getting over this shock of capitalism and these new brands," says 23-year-old Tisza designer Zsofi Fenyvesi. The line was re-released in 2002 and Hungarian youth embraced Tisza, the only fashion and shoe company to design and produce in their country. It\'s a distinction that also keeps the shoes, um, limited edition. "It would be great to have products in other countries," says Fenyvesi, "but it isn\'t worth it because the shoes are produced in Hungary, not Vietnam, so it cannot be sold cheap." За какво говоря ли? Хайде ще почнем с трейлър:

Мда, четвъртата игра от поредицата Devil May Cry (DMC). Преди да продължа нататък, се чувствам длъжен да уточня, че до сега не съм имал досег с DMC игрите. Е пробвах се с DMC3 - но по-онова време нямах джойстик, а играта с клавиатура ми се стори доста тежка и така и не напреднах особено. Другото важно уточнение, е че въобще не съм фен на "Hack and slash" жанъра (а за първата игра от поредицата се твърди, че го е предефинирала).
Та подходих със сериозна доза негативизъм и недоверие ;)

Няма да ви губя време с твърде дълги описания на персонажите, но ще спомена че през 2/3 от играта играете с младият "Nero" \нов е в поредицата, също като мен\ :D а през останалата част, ще се подвизавате като оригиналния герой на поредицата - "Dante". Най-общо казано "Nero" има три вида атаки - меч (Red Queen), Револвер (Blue Rose), и новия за DMC игрите - Devil Bringer (демоничната ръка на Неро).

Меча е ясен - ходиш и кълцаш, с револвера стреляш, а с Devil Bringer-а можеш да придърпваш врагове към себе си (или ти да се придърпваш към тях) и още купища неща и комбота. По късно в играта се отключва и още един меч, който се активира по-специален начин, но това е друга песен.

За мен най-уникален беше факта, колко лесно (и ултра забавно) е да комбинираш различните атаки и да правиш ултра невероятни комбота :)
Например: Врагът се затърчава към тебе, ти го изчакваш да се приближи, и секунда преди да те удари му правиш "ъперкът" с меча. Гадината излита във въздуха и докато той е там, започваш да го обстрелваш с револвера. Като ти омръзне да го стреляш, се "придърпваш" към него (във въздуха) с помощта на Devil Bringer-а и отново започваш да го налагаш с меча. Когато ти омръзне, отново с Bringer-а, сграбчваш жертвата (както сте си във въздуха) и го забиваш в земята! От там можеш отново да го придърпаш при теб, да го застреляш, или пък да се сгромолясаш върху него с насочен направо меч ;) И това е съвсем малък пример, за огромните възможности който играта предоставя.

Просто бях изумен от факта, че с малко трейнинг и подходящата екипировка, можеш да се биеш прехвърляйки се от враг на враг, без въобще да докосваш земята.

Когато се докопах до Dante се втрещих още повече защото той има 3 вида огнестрелни оръжия, 3 вида мечове (+1) и 4 бойни стила (+1) като всеки един боен стил променя действието на копчето с което активирате Devil Bringer-а на Неро.
При него огнестрелните оръжия са значително по-мощни от Blue Rose-а, а едно от тях - "кутията на Пандора" е може би най-нечовешкото оръжие на което съм попадал във видео игра \с изключение на Land Shark Gun-а и Vindaloo Rocket Launcher-а от Armed and Dangerous\ ;)

Въпросното оръжие е толкова смахнато, че се чувствах все едно съм намерил някакъв ултра мощен сикрет в играта :D

Какво, защо и как ще ви оставя да откриете сами ;)

Та продължавам с бойната система (ако не съм казал, за нея говоря). Въпросната е така направена, че можете да минете играта като просто се набирате на едно две копчета, но ако решите и се заиграете ще откриете, че е ужасно дълбока и комплексна и предлага толкова много варианти и комбота, че свят да му се завие на човек.
От делно всяко едно от споменатите оръжия може да бъде ъпдейтнато и към него да се прибавят още и различни... неща. Аве файтинг системата е просто перфектна, и може да бъде пригодена за всякакъв тип играчи ;)

Вразите в играта не са много (като видове, като бройка могат да бъдат ужасно много), но пък за сметка на това са доста интересни и различни като подход който е добре да приложите срещу тях. Босовете поне според мен, са доста оригинални и е истински фън да се биете с тях... Поне първите 2 пъти :(
Тук идва една от първите ми сериозни забележки към играта... Повтаряемостта. Значи бих се с босовете веднъж. Бих се втори път (което леко дразни, но поне има известна логика), но когато играта за трети път ме постави срещу същите босове ми стана лееееееко досадно. Не се шегувам, срещу почти всички ще се наложи да се бието по тамън 3 пъти.

Ако това беше някой друг а не Capcom, сигурно щях да ги обвиня в липса на идей и въображение, но предполагам, че тук случая е доста по-комплексен - времеви и финансови ограничения и мързел :D

Локациите из който ще се мотате са доста интересни, и като цяло изглеждат повече от добре, си изключение може би на горите

където определено имаше нещо гнило в сенките (не проблема не ми е от видео картата). И понеже играта ползва MT Framework енджина (изграден на основата на Unreal Engine 3), искрено се надявам да си оправят "мазалото" за да не останем много неприятно изненадани от задаващият се Resident Evil 5. Но да не се отплесвам - като цяло, играта изглежда доста прилично и върви леко и неусетно, а локациите са интересни. Проблема обаче е, че в един момент въпреки многото пътища из нивото, ще откриете, че те в същност са УЖАСНО праволинейни. Верният път, по всяко едно време е само един! И ако това не ви се струва страшно, почакайте да разберете, че ще ви се наложи да минете по един и същ път ужасно много пъти. За капак ви гарантирам и, че поне веднъж ще се затриете много сериозно из някое от нивата, и ще минете през една и съща местност толкова много пъти, че чак ще ви се додрайфа. И така, до след две мисии когато с прискърбие ще откриете, че пак трябва да минете по същият път. Та така нареченият backtracking наред с повтаряемите босове, правят играта страшно... да повтаряема! Което е напълно достатъчно да откаже човек като мен от каквото и да е преиграване на играта. А преиграването тук играе важна роля, защото нямате никакъв шанс да си развиете уменията на мах от едно изиграване ;)

Другият голям минус на играта е ужасната камера. Седяли си Capcom, и си мислели. Ние сме интелигентни! Нека да дадем право на камерата в нашата игра да си прави каквото си иска, когато си иска. Е НЯМА ТАКЪВ УЖАС ПРОСТО! В играта например, има няколко джъмп енд рън местности. Та както се досещате, джъмп енд рън елементите са от типа - "скачай ся, по тез въртящи се витла" и принципно не са нещо сложно... докато не се появи камерата. Честно ви казвам, тази камерчица успя да превърне абсолютно всички подобни местности в пълно изпитание за нервната ми система. А това с витлата, дето го споменавам по-горе не искам да си го спомням никога вече (камоли да го преигравам).
Толкова ли беше трудно, да направят нормална камера? Очевидно да!

Също така има и няколко доста леки пъзели който в поголямата си част са по-скоро изнервящи от колкото интересни. Това със зарчетата например, беше ултра отегчително!

Като верен PC геймър, ми се ще да понахраня Capcom и по-адрес на контролите.
Сега, то е ясно че тази игра с клавиатура не е много безопасно да я играете (и за клавиатурата и за нервната ви система). Също така е ясно, че въпросните принципно не им дреме много за PC периферията, а неща като поддръжка на мишка са им повече от чужди (заради RE4 си купих джойстик). Та включвам джойстика и отивам да го конфигурирам. Още преди да пусна играта, имам такава опция тъй, че смело се насочвам натам. За съжаление конфигурацията се изчерпва с това да изберете различни лейаути на копчетата, който обаче са нагласени единствено и само за Xbox контролер, и нямате вариант да ги променяте. В играта също има място от където можете да настройвате бутоните, и от там пак ви се хили джойстика на кашона. Още по-якото е, че в един момент откривате, че всякакви комбинации там са нерелевантни, по простата причина, че изборът ви преди да пуснете играта тотално овъррайтва всичко останало. В крайна сметка след около 30 минути мъки, използвах софтуерът на XFX (който си идва с джойстика ми) и си мапнах копчетата към тези от клавиатурата. Така успях да ги наглася да са ми що годе удобни. Аве не знам дали някой разбра нещо, ама най-общо казано Capcom просто са фърлили някакви опции там, колкото да я има.

Историята не е най-уникалното нещо евър, но е достатъчно интересна. А и честно, дори да беше най-тъпото нещо на света, пак щях да я следя с интерес по 2 основни причини:
- невероятни кът сцени! Казвам ви, Холивуд има какво да научат от филмчетата в играта. Няма толкова много кулнес, няма толкова изключителна хореография. Трудно ми е да ви го опиша с думи, това просто трябва да се види. Точно за това, ще ви покажа синематик пролога на играта:

и това е само една съвсем мъничка частичка от синаметиците. За да сме по-точни, това е едно от най-спокойните и не динамични филмчета в играта ;)
- изключително озвучаване на персонажите. Някъде четох, че репликите им били тъпи, но аз се забавлявах страшно много с всяка една реплика която героите изтърсваха, а Данте просто ме събаряше от стола с тоталният си непукизъм и начин на изразяване.

Разбира се, и тук си намерих за какво да мрънкам: Jason "Shyboy" Arnold of Hyonogaja - The Time Has Come. Мда, това е песента която ще чувате ВСЕКИ ПЪТ, когато влезете в битка. Не че парчето е лошо, или не надъхващо (точно обратното) но когато го чух за 100тен път, си зададох въпроса - е не можеше ли да свири и пее и нещо друго де!?

Дължина на играта, и финални мисли. Ако може да се вярва на сейфовете ми, минаването на DMC4 от началото до края (на най-лесната трудност) ми е отнело 10 часа и 15 минути, което ме кара да задам въпроса - ако не трябваше да се бия с всички босове по 3 пъти, и не ми се налагаше да се връщам през една и съща местност "n" на брой пъти, колко дълга щеше да е играта всъщност?! Моят отговор е 4, пряко сили 5 часа... което не е добре :(

Въпреки всички минуси обаче, няма да отричам, че ужасно много се забавлявах с това заглавие. Бойната система определено го вади от калта, а перфектните кът сцени така ми замазаха очите, че съм склонен да забравя всичко лошо :D
Всичко това, и най-вече заради факта, че след като приключих с играта се чувствах удовлетворен и доволен, играта получава едно 8,5 от 10 от мене ;) с пожелания Devil May Cry 5 да удари поне 9,5 ;)

PS: Твърдо съм убеден, че съм пропуснал нещо много важно но твърде много ми се спи, така че ви оставям в компанията на тез двамцата и си лягам да спя ;)

Storia stupida di un ragazzino con doppia personalità, una dolce e sentimentale del fallito e una death metaller di successo, ma non riesce proprio ad ottenerne un connubio.

Personaggi stravaganti eccessivi e focosi (come la manager), fanno da sfondo a una colonna sonora da urlo e risa. Scene al limite della censura, spassose all'infinito proprio per la loro eccessività. Assolutamente da non perdere, per tutti i metallari nell'anima!

Il manga, peraltro già uscito in Giappone, verrà pubblicato da Planet Manga entro la fine dell'anno.

Hip-hop legend Darryl ``DMC'' McDaniels showed Korean fans what real hip-hop music is like, when he performed at the grand reopening of the Hard Rock Cafe Seoul, Wednesday evening.

It was DMC's first time to visit Seoul, but he was obviously pleased with how hip-hop culture has spread to this part of the world.

The Hard Rock Cafe Seoul in Itaewon was packed with people, who jumped, cheered and chanted to DMC's rap music. DMC, a founding member of hip-hop pioneers Run-DMC, got the party started with one of the group's old hits ``Here We Go.''

DMC also performed the classic, ``Walk This Way.'' The song was remade in collaboration with rock group Aerosmith, who first recorded it in 1975, in the 1980s, and started the trend of collaborations between artists from different musical genres.

Instead of a rock group, DMC collaborated with local hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo, who rapped some parts in Korean.

In a press conference before the concert, DMC admitted he doesn't even listen to any of today's music or watch any of the music channels. He doesn't consider any of the current hip-hop music as ``real'' hip-hop.

``Real hip-hop is in a class by itself. … I don't listen to the radio or watch music channels. I only listen to the artists and everything on the walls of the Hard Rock Cafe. Classic does not mean old. It means it is better than anything that would come after it,'' he said.

In early 1980s, he co-founded Run-DMC with his friend Joseph ``Run" Simmons. Later, Jason ``Jam-Master Jay" Mizell, a disc jockey, joined the group. Their revolutionary style of music helped spur the development of hip-hop music, and brought hip-hop culture to the mainstream.

When asked what he thought of some hip-hop artists declaring that hip-hop music is dead, DMC smiled and said ``hip-hop can't be dead because I'm still alive.''

Run-DMC, along with LL Cool J, are the only rap artists affiliated with the Hard Rock Cafe, known for its mainly rock n' roll theme. ``I think rock n' roll and hip-hop are like brother and sister. It's got the same feeling,'' he said.

DMC is involved with a lot of events for Hard Rock Cafe in the United States. ``What I like about the Hard Rock Cafe is its about the music and the people. When they asked me if I wanted to perform in Seoul, I said yes. Hard Rock Cafe has a legacy of keeping the music alive,'' he said.

DMC thinks Seoul is an ``incredible'' and ``awesome'' place. He wants to come back to see more of the city and promote his music on television and radio. DMC is currently busy finishing his next solo album. It will be released in September.

Angin malam berhembus dengan kuat. Begitu dingin hingga menusuk tulang. Dante duduk terdiam, di sebuah gang yang kotor. Mata nya menerawang ke atas. Pikiranya kosong...

Saat masih terdiam, tiba-tiba saja dante mendengar suara langkah kaki. Dante cuek, ia sudah tidak peduli lagi pada segalanya. Tetapi, langkah kaki tersebut terdengar begitu banyak, dante pun menyadari kalau ada lebih dari satu orang yang datang. Dante mulai waspada. Ia memasang kuda-kuda menyerang. Apalagi saat langkah tersebut terasa semakin dekat. Dante bersiap-siap dengan ivory dan ebony nya...

Terlihat bayangan seseorang, dante menarik nafas panjang. Kemudian, datanglah seorang pria berkacamata hitam dengan terburu-buru. Ia tampak agak terkejut saat melihat dante. Tetapi, dengan segera ia bersembunyi di balik punggung dante.

"sembunyikan aku" pinta pria tersebut.

Dante, yang merasa kalau pria tersebut tidaklah berbahaya, langsung menegakan badanya agar pria tersebut terhalangi.

Langkah kaki yang di takutkan dante terasa semakin mendekat. Lalu datanglah sekelompok orang yang terlihat membawa-bawa kamera sedang mencari-cari sesuatu. Mereka melihat dante, namun tidak memperdulikanya.

Dante berpikir kalau mereka mencari-cari pria yang sedang bersembunyi di balik punggungnya. Merasa harus menolong, dante pun menyapa mereka...

Dante: "jika kalian sedang mencari-cari seorang pria, ia lari ke arah sana" ucap dante sembari menunjuk ke sembarang arah.

Tanpa banyak basa-basi lagi, mereka pun bergegas ke arah yang telah di tunjuk dante. Setelah mereka tak terlihat lagi, dante pun segera memberi isyarat pada sang pria agar keluar dari tempat persembunyianya.

Dante: "kau beruntung. karena tempat ini gelap, kau jadi tak terlihat"

pria tersebut melihat ke sekelilingnya, memastikan kalau sudah benar-benar aman. Setelah menghela nafas panjang, ia pun memperkenalkan dirinya kepada dante...

Gackt: "thanks karena sudah menolongku, namaku gackt" ucap pria tersebut sambil melepas sunglass nya.

Dante: "Aa? Gak??" tanya dante. Ia merasa kalau nama itu sangatlah aneh. *gomen dears~*

gackt: "ya... Aku tahu kalau kau sudah mengenalku, tapi tak ada salahnya kan kalau aku memperkenalkan lagi diriku?" kata gackt kepedean sambil menulis di sebuah memo.

Gackt: "ini, sekali lagi thank you sudah menolongku" ucap gackt sembari memberikan tanda tanganya kepada dante.

Dante menjadi semakin bingung. Pasalnya, ia baru saja kenal pria ini. Tetapi, ia bertingkah seolah-olah ia adalah orang penting.

Dante: "errrrr... Sebenarnya, kau ini siapa sih, apakah kau orang penting di sini?" tanya dante ragu-ragu.

Gackt: "eeh? Kau tak mengenal ku?" gackt tidak percaya dengan apa yang baru saja di dengarnya.

Dante: "uhm.. Kenal sih, tadi kan baru banget kenalan. Tapi, kau ini sebenarnya siapa sampai-sampai memberiku tanda tangan segala?"

gackt: "harusnya aku yang tanya! Kau ini siapa sebenarnya? Kalau kau sampai tidak mengenalku, berarti kau bukan orang jepang kan?"

dante terdiam sesaat, kemudian ia menjawab

dante: "...... ya, aku tersesat. Sebenarnya aku tidak begitu yakin, tapi sepertinya... Tempat asal ku bukanlah di dimensi ini..." jawab dante lesu.

Gackt terdiam sesaat. Ia berusaha mencerna ucapan dante barusan.

Gackt: "jadi, kau sudah menembus wormhole ya? Wah, seperti di cerita-cerita fiksi saja sih ^^" *emang ini cerita fiksi kan?*

dante: "aku juga tidak tahu..." jawab dante sambil merapatkan coatnya karena udara terasa semakin dingin.

Gackt: "lalu, bagaimana caramu pulang kembali ke dimensi mu?" tanya gackt iba.

Dante hanya menggeleng perlahan. Matanya menerawang ke bawah.

Gackt: "kau pasti bingung harus menetap di mana. Ikut lah dengan ku. Aku juga bosan sendirian terus di apartemen ku." ajak gackt.

Dante: "eh, tidak usah repot-repot" jawab dante. Ia trauma karena bertemu orang aneh terus seharian ini.

Gackt: "jangan malu-malu..." kata gackt sambil menarik paksa tangan dante menuju ke mobilnya.

*di dalam mobil gaku*

gackt: "kencangkan sabuk pengaman mu, aku mau ngebut"

dante: "ah... Gak, kau tidak perlu repot-repot sampai membawaku ke apartement mu" kata dante. Sebenarnya sih ia sudah muak bertemu orang aneh terus menerus.

Gackt: "tak apa, aku senang ada teman ngobrol. Oh iya, siapa namamu?"

dante: "da.. Dante..."

gackt: "allrite dante, bersiaplah! Aku tancap gas!" ucap gackt sambil menginjak pedal gas mobil tanpa melihat kiri kanan dahulu.

Karena cara mengendarai gackt yang seenaknya, ia berhasil menabrak tong sampah, menyerempet kursi taman, membentur tembok beberapa kali, melindas papan peringatan dan membuat dante kejang-kejang dengan sukses...

Tapi, positif nya mereka bisa sampai ke apartement gackt hanya dalam beberapa menit.

Gackt: "selamat datang di apartement ku. Anggaplah rumah sendiri"

Dante: *masih berusaha menyadarkan diri* "gelapnya~" pikir dante

gackt pun langsung merebahkan tubuhnya di kasur.

Gackt: "aku lelah, aku tidur duluan ya..."

dante: "eh!? Aku kan tamu!!" protes dante.

Gackt: "and... so?" gackt tidak mengerti.

Dante: "di mana-mana, tamu di perlakukan istimewa! Harusnya aku yang tidur di kasur!"

Gackt: "hei hei... Harusnya kau lebih menghormati tuan rumah, jadi akulah yang berhak tidur disini!"

Dante: "Tidak mau! Lantai rumahmu kan dingin!" lalu, dante menarik paksa gackt dari kasur.

Gackt pun tidak tinggal diam. Ia balas melawan dante. Dan akhirnya merekapun bergulat di atas kasur...

Gackt: "aah! Sudahlah, ayo kita putuskan dengan janken!

Merekapun melakukan janken. Setelah 5x janken, dante pun keluar sebagai pemenang...

Gackt: "takao... Masa, gakuto kamui yang ganteng dan berkharisma ini harus tidur di lantai sih? Ga mau... Dingin... Kalo sampe masuk angin gimana?"

takao: "kalo masuk angin ya kerokin aja! Gitu aja kog repot? Lagian kasian dante seharian ini menderita terus..."

gackt: "prince charming like me?! Di kerokin?? Are u kidding?"

takao: "ga apa-apa. Klw ada yang tanya bilang aja itu tattoo khas indonesia. Okay, back to the story!"

dante pun kemudian melepas coat nya, lalu menjatuhkan tubuhnya yang sudah sangat kelelahan ke atas kasur yang empuk dan hangat. Sementara itu, gackt, karena tidak rela tubuh indahnya di beri 'tattoo' merah, ia memutus kan untuk tidur di sofa. Dan mereka pun terdidur lelap...

IN DA MORNING...

Sinar mentari pagi masuk melalui jendela kamar gackt yang terbuka lebar, menyinari wajah dante yang sedang tertidur lelap. Dante pun terbangun. Ia mengusap-usap matanya. Setelah sadar sepenuhnya, ia pun memperhatikan sekeliling ruanganya. Tidak ada lagi gackt di sofa. Yang tersisa hanya bantal dan selimut yang berserakan.

Dante: "07.20..." gumam dante sambil memperhatikan jam meja yang terletak di atas meja kecil di sebelah kasur gackt. "kemana dia pergi pagi-pagi begini?" pikir dante sambil berdiri dan memakai coat nya.

Dante pun berkeliling apartemen gackt. Mencari apa yang bisa di makan. Tetapi, sesampainya di dapur ia melihat sesosok gackt yang sedang menata meja.

Gackt: "ah, baru saja aku mau membangunkan mu. Ayo sarapan bersama!" ajak gackt.

Dante pun duduk di sebelah gackt, dan kemudian ia langsung menyantap telur goreng buatan gackt.

Dante: "kurang garam ya.." gumamnya.

Gackt: "huh! Kau ini protes melulu sih?" omel gackt.

Dante: "aku nggak protes! Aku kan cuma ngomong, 'kurang garam'. Bukan berarti nggak enak kan?"

gackt: "kau menyebalkan! Padahal, aku sudah susah payah berbaik hati padamu. Tapi kau malah tidak berterima kasih!"

dante: "okay! Okay! Thank you very much!!" ucap dante menahan emosi.

Mereka berdua akhirnya duduk saling membelakangi satu sama lain. Dante merasa agak menyesal sudah berteriak kepada gackt. Padahal gackt berniat baik padanya.

Setelah beberapa menit mereka terdiam, tiba-tiba saja datanglah seseorang...

Hyde: "gackt, kenapa aku ketuk pintunya tapi kau... *melihat dante* dante kun!?" haido terkejut.

Dante: "ah, kita bertemu lagi"

gackt: "kalian sudah saling knal ya?" tanya gackt.

Hyde: "ung, ia datang ke studio tempatku latihan dalam keadaan yang menyedihkan!" ungkap hyde. "padahal ku pikir kau sudah pulang ke tempat asalmu.."

dante: "maunya sih begitu. Tapi aku... Tidak tahu jalan pulang..."

mereka bertiga pun terdiam sesaat.

Gackt: "dante, bagaimana kalau kau ceritakan awal mula kenapa kau bisa sampai di sini?"

dante pun menceritakan awal mula kejadian sampai ia mendarat di negri asing ini.

Dante: "... Terus, aku bangun pagi, lalu di bikinin sarapan sama si gak, lalu karena masakanya si gak nggak enak, aku lalu..."

gackt: "eh! Udah! Udah! Bagian situ nggak penting!" T"T

hyde: "bagaimana kalau kita ke tempat yang sudah membawa dante ke sini?" ajak hyde

gackt: "nice idea, mungkin ada petunjuk di sana."

dante: "percuma saja, aku sudah kesana kemarin." jawab dante lesu.

Hyde: "begitu ya..." kata hyde hopeless

gackt: "kita coba sekali lagi! Kemarin kan kau cuma sendiri. Mungkin kalau kita ke sana bertiga akan ada hasilnya!!" Kata gackt memberi semangat.

Hyde: "ung, coba sekali lagi. Gimana?"

dante pun menuruti permintaan mereka dengan perasaan ragu dan tidak yakin.

Dan atas permintaan dante, di putuskan bahwa yang akan menyetir adalah hyde.

Mereka pun sampai di tempat tujuan dengan selamat. Tempat itu ramai,

tapi tidak seramai saat dante pertama kali datang ke tempat itu.

Dante kemudian mengantar mereka ke jalan buntu yang sudah

membawanya kemari.

Dante: "aku datang tiba-tiba saja dari sini..."

gackt: "bagaimana bisa ya? Ini kan jalan buntu?!"

hyde: "apakah kau menembus tembok?"

dante: "kalau aku tau bagaimana, aku tidak akan berada di sini lagi.."

mereka bertiga pun terdiam sesaat, memikirkan cara yang mungkin

untuk mengembalikan dante. Tiba2 saja terbesit ide gila di benak

gackt..

Gackt: "mungkin kau harus berlari kencang untuk menembus tembok itu!"

dante: "Eeh~"

hyde: "patut di coba!" kata hyde bersemangat.

Setelah di paksa, dante pun menuruti saran mereka. Dante mengambil

ancang-ancang untuk berlari dan, dalam hitungan ke tiga dante pun

berlari sekuat tenaga ke arah tembok tersebut.

Namun... Di saat yang tepat, beberapa inch di depan tembok dante

mengerem mendadak...

Gackt: "kok berhenti??" tanya gackt agak kesal.

Dante: " kalau nanti nabrak gimana?" dante khawatir.

Gackt: "memang itu kan tujuan kita?!"

tanpa ragu lagi, gackt pun menarik dante kemudian menghempaskanya

ke arah tembok

"BUAAAGH.."

dante: "aouch! What are u fuckin doing?" protes dante sambil

memegangi hidungnya yang berdarah.

Gackt: "nothing has been? Try again!" gackt pun kembali menarik dante

dan menghempaskanya lagi ke arah tembok.

"BUGH..!"

dante: "ouch!! Gak, please stoped!" dante meringis kesakitan.

Tetapi karena tetap tidak terjadi apa-apa, gackt mengambil ancang2

kembali. Ia berniat untuk mendorong dante lebih kuat lagi.

Dante: "hei! No no no no no no!!" perintah dante.

Tetapi gackt tidak peduli. Ia tetap menarik paksa lengan dante.

Hyde: "that's enough, gackt" ucap hyde sambil menahan lengan gackt.

"kita sudah melihat kalau hal itu tidak berhasil. Jika kau teruskan

dante kun bisa mati!"

gackt terdiam. Ia merasa kalau ucapan hyde itu benar adanya. *ya

iyalah!*

hyde menyandarkan tubuhnya di tembok yang kotor dan lembab.

Sememtara itu, gackt berjongkok sembari menatap langit dengan lesu.

Mereka kembali berpikir...

Dante menatap mereka. Ia menyesal sudah merepotkan kedua orang

baik ini. Dante kemudian menghela nafas panjang, ia membuat keputusan

besar...

Dante: "hyde, gak... Terima kasih banyak kerena sudah membantuku.

Tetapi.. setelah ini biarkan aku berusaha sendiri.." ucapnya sambil

tersenyum pahit.

Hyde: "a~ kenapa begitu? Maaf kalau kami payah, tapi kami tulus ingin

membantu mu!" jawab hyde khawatir.

Dante: "tidak, aku sangat berterima kasih atas bantuan kalian selama

ini, tapi aku tidak mau merepotkan kalian lagi"

gackt pun bangkit dan menatap dante dengan tajam.

Gackt: "apa kau yakin?" gackt khawatir.

Dante mengangguk yakin. Dan karena keyakinan dante yang kuat itulah

mereka merasa tidak akan mungkin untuk menahan dante. Hyde dan

gackt pun masuk ke dalam mobil. Hyde menatap dante dengan sedih.

Hyde: "mulai sekarang aku hanya bisa membantu mu dengan doa.."

dante: "terima kasih, kau baik sekali.."

gackt pun menjalankan mobil nya perlahan. Meninggalkan dante yang

menatap kepergian mereka dengan miris..

Dante berpikir kalau ia harus memulai petualangan barunya. Ia pun

berjalan tak tentu arah. Ia hanya mengikuti kata hatinya saja.

Kemudian...

"toloong!! Tolong!"

teriak seorang wanita paruh baya. Dante menghampirinya untuk mencari

tahu apa yang terjadi.

Dante: "ada masalah apa nyonya?"

"tolong! Ada pejambret!" jawab wanita itu, panik.

dante, yang memiliki jiwa sosial yang tinggi itu pun mengejar pejambret

tersebut. Ia mengejar pejambret itu hingga masuk ke dalam

terowongan yang sangat gelap.

Dante: "sial, ini lebih gelap dari kamarnya si gak! Tidak terlihat apa

apa!" keluh dante sembari menghentikan larinya. Percuma saja ia berlari

jika tidak bisa melihat.

Meski tidak terlihat apapun, dante tetap waspada. Ia membalikan

tubuhnya, memutuskan untuk menyerah saja mengejar pejambret itu.

Betapa terkejutnya dante begitu mendapati pintu keluar terowongan

tersebut telah hilang. Dante terdiam. Berusaha mencerna apa yang

sedang terjadi..

Di saat seperti itu, tiba tiba saja ada yang memukul dante dari

belakang. Dante meringis kesakitan, ia memutar pandanganya. Mencari

sang pengecut yang berani memukulnya dari belakang.

Dante: "bastard.. Kalau berani, ayo berhadapan dengan ku!" tantang

dante.

Makhluk itu pun kembali menyerang dante. Kali ini bertubi-tubi. Dante

yang tak dapat melihat sama sekali ini pun menjadi tak berdaya. Ia

jatuh tersungkur...

Dante berusaha bangkit, ia mengangkat kepalanya. Tempat tersebut

mulai remang-remang, sehingga memungkinkan dante untuk melihat.

Tetapi, betapa terkejutnya ia.. Ternyata yang sedang di hadapinya

saat itu adalah seekor monster...

Monster tersebut menggeram keras. Tanpa banyak berpikir lagi, dante

langsung mencabut pedang besarnya dan dengan beberapa tebasan,

dante berhasil merobohkan monster tersebut...

Dante mengangkat kepalanya dan melihat sekeliling... Ternyata sudah

banyak monster-monster serupa yang sudah mengincarnya. Dante

tersenyum licik. Ia pun memulai aksinya, menumpas para monster yang

menghalangi jalanya...

Dante membuka matanya. Ia menghela nafas panjang sambil melihat ke

sekelilingnya. Bangkai monster ada di mana-mana. Ia pun duduk

bersandarkan tembok. Tersenyum, Menatap bulan sabit yang terlihat

begitu besar dan angkuh...

"hyde... Gak... Terima kasih... Aku sudah sampai di rumah..."

Per ricamare si possono usare materiali più svariati, dalle striscioline di tessuto al filo metallico, alla pelle. Prendendo in esame i più comuni materiali da ricamo, possiamo operare una classificazione in base a tre elementi: il numero dei capi, la torsione e la fibra.

Il numero di capi indica quanti fili singoli compongono il filato, mentre la torsione si riferisce al fatto che i capi non possono essere separati.

Scelta del Tipo di Fibra

Il cotone da ricamo: filato in puro cotone egiziano formato da quattro capi indivisibili. Ideale per il ricamo tradizionale, è disponibile in una vasta gamma di colori.

Il cotone perlé. Filato in puro cotone egiziano lucido ( “perlato” appunto) molto ritorto, disponibile in diverse grossezze e adatto a tessuti consistenti; è consigliata a chi è alle prime armi ed è molto utile alle esperte per ottenere effetti di rilievo.

Il cotone mouliné: filato composto da sei capi divisibili in puro cotone egiziano, d’aspetto si presenta brillante e segoso ed è perfetto per ogni tipo di ricamo e di tessuto.

Il cotone lanato: è un filato più opaco, ritorto, usato in genere anche per i lavori su canovaccio.

È opportuno anche considerare i filati metallici, che di solito vengono usati per lavori su canovaccio, abiti da sera o comunque per capi e accessori di una certa importanza, nonché per soggetti natalizi.

La lana da ricamo è un filato molto morbido, ma resistente, ed è utile per i lavori su canovaccio perché non si sfilaccia passando continuamente nei fori della stoffa e perché, essendo grossa, la ricopre interamente creando un effetto-tessuto.

La seta: viene usata su stoffe particolarmente leggere, per lavori preziosi, ed è un filato relativamente costoso. Richiede un po’ più di abilità rispetto agli altri filati perché sii attorciglia con molta facilità.

Consigli Utili Per Le Ricamatrici

• Ti consiglio di utilizzare l'avvolgi matassine. Un modo semplice e utile per tenere ordinati i vostri filati evitando che i capi si intreccino l'uno con l'altro.

Nothing is hard to find in Dubai, even a copywriter. But compared to other advertising professionals available in Dubai, copywriters may be scarce. Not all advertising agencies have one. And there is something called an Arabic copywriter. Anybody connected with advertising here in Dubai knows this as a problem area. No two Arabic copywriters ever agree on even a single Arabic word. So in Dubai, if an agency has two Arabic copywriters, both are kept at approx: 100 meters from each other in separate well reinforced cubicles.

So a word of caution to the guys who want to work as an English copywriter in Dubai. You might meet in your agency a person whom everybody calls an Arabic copywriter. Respect him as a copywriter, even though in reality, he turns up to be a mere translator. But chances are there that you meet a real one, then you are really lucky. Because all the real arabic copywriters i have met are well read and deep persons. Enjoy their company. You have many things to learn from them.

La serie sera de 12 capítulos, y se van a vender en un DVD boxset.

Y, aunque en la película quien hace el papel de Soichi/Krauser es Kenichi (mejor conocido por ser L en el live-action de Death Note) el no es el seiyuu de Soichi en el anime; lo hace Yuji Ueda (mejor conocido como Akito, Sanosuke, Akira y Keitaro). Algo raro a mi parecer, pero tendriamos que ver el anime y el live-action para ver quien es "el mejor Krauser".

(SPOILERS a continuacion)Por lo que veo, la pelicula terminara cuando Krauser se enfrente a Jack Il Dark, y el anime terminara con el Satanic Emperor (o eso quiero esperar).

Bien, a pesar de que aun no se ha dicho nada sobre Bounen no Xamdou, en Youtube abundan videos de DMC (no confundirlo con Devil May Cry o Detroit Rock City), como por ejemplo, AMV's de SATSUGAI, GROTESQUE, HIT IN THE DMC (un "metal-mix" de HIT IN THE USA de BEAT CRUSADERS que aparece en el album "Tribute to Krauser II") y a lo que llamare "The FSCK song". Y ademas, como ya salio el nuevo tomo en Japón, Scum-Scans ya lo esta traduciendo. Como mola cuando todo va bien xD.

Como lo esperaba, la serie acaba en el Satanic Emperor... que esta bien, ya que esa fue la ultima arca "importante" de DMC, ya que generalmente los caps son randomness de Negishi, que generalmente terminan en Krauser haciendo una nueva leyenda...
