El general Raul Baduel se hizo famoso por haber sido uno de los líderes del movimiento militar que restituyó al presidente Chávez luego de los eventos de abril de 2002.

Tras salir del ministerio de la defensa, a mediados de 2007, dio un discurso criticando el viejo socialismo soviético, gesto que muchos entendieron como una referencia directa a la revolución bolivariana.

A finales de 2007, Baduel se manifestó en contra de la reforma constitucional socialista presentada por Chávez, y llamó a votar en su contra. Fue tildado de traidor, y otros adjetivos más altisonantes.

Tras esto se convirtió en una figura clave en la política venezolana, simbolizando el deslastre de los partidarios menos radicales del presidente Chávez, hecho que se manifestó en la derrota electoral de la reforma socialista, el 2 de diciembre de 2007.

Actualmente está siendo investigado por supuestos hechos de malversación durante su gestión como ministro.

Recientemente, Baduel se ha mostrado partidario de convocar una asamblea nacional constituyente para reconstituir la república y elegir nuevos mandatarios.

Ha declarado en repetidas ocasiones que se planea su asesinato, y ha culpado expresamente al presidente Chávez de cualquier cosa que pudiera ocurrirle.

My favorite place in the world... and the biggest adrenaline rush

"Wow." That was the first and only word out of my husband's mouth, as he sat speechless after our airplane broke through the clouds, and before our eyes was the world's most exciting commercial mecca, like a scene from Star Wars. I've been to Hong Kong eight times now, and it still leaves me awestruck every time. It's no wonder parts of Batman: The Dark Knight were shot here -- with Batman jumping off Hong Kong's tallest building (top 10 in the world), the International Finance Centre. "Hong Kong" means "Fragrant Harbor" in Chinese. I'm not sure that captures the essence of my favorite place on Earth. Words don't do it justice. Hong Kong (HK) is a place where you can't fall asleep at night because you want to be out in the middle of all the excitement; where restaurants and stores stay open past midnight; where buses come in double-decker form because too many cars and taxis are on the streets; where some buildings are so tall and thin, you wonder how they stay standing; where thousands of watercraft compete for space on the harbor; where you have to walk fast if you don't want to get trampled on the sidewalk; where women (and men, for that matter) are thin and fashionable (HK fashion is at least several months ahead of the U.S., so I got ahead before coming home); and where the subways (and subway stations) are clean and the escalators send you on a fast ride (there are more than 7 million people in HK after all, so they have to move people!). It's a place that never sleeps.

As an S.A.R. (Special Administrative Region) of China, HK maintains a separate economy under the Mainland's control. You used to hear mostly Cantonese spoken in the streets, but since the handover to China, you hear a lot more Mandarin, which is sad for someone like me, since Cantonese was my first (and favorite) language. But then again, HK is also very international -- Europeans, Africans, and people from all across Asia love to live in Hong Kong -- and that's another thing that makes this place unique. There are so many taxis, there are three different colors: red taxis on HK Island and Kowloon Peninsula, blue on Lantau Island, and green in New Territories. I love everything about Hong Kong. The energy, bright lights, frantic pace, sharp-looking people, and table sharing. I cry every time I leave.

A journey back in time
My parents grew up in Hong Kong. My dad was born there. My mom moved there when she was just several months old. Before this trip I had never thought about doing this, but this time I felt a yearning in my heart to visit the place where my mom grew up. I think it means more to me now than when I was younger. We took a taxi on Kowloon Peninsula from the south end of Nathan Road to the north end. As we neared my mom's old neighborhood, she recognized few familiar buildings. Most of the originals had been torn down and replaced with much taller structures, as Hong Kong outgrew its land space over the years. It was an emotional

experience for me to walk up to a condo high-rise that was now in place of my mom's former home, which was only three stories tall decades ago. My mom's eyes lit up as she told us how she would walk to elementary school and the nearby hospital where she took one of her brothers when he fell and hurt himself. There's no better history lesson than witnessing changing times with your own eyes.

1. Victoria Peak. Take the Peak Tram to the top of the mountain that gives you a breathtaking view of what's widely recognized as the world's best night view: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula (attached to Mainland China), and Hong Kong Harbor. On Victoria Peak is a shopper and video gamer's paradise. Tourists can find all their souvenirs. EA Games allowed people to try out their video games for free -- unlimited play!
2. Symphony of Lights. This nightly show, after sunset, lights up the Hong Kong skyline with a laser and music show. It's best seen from the Kowloon side on the Avenue of Stars (HK's version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame), which pays tribute to such Cantonese stars as Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Michelle Yeoh.

3. Hong Kong International Airport. Rated the world's best airport by Skytrax's World Airport Survey seven of the past eight years, HK International Airport (HKIA) is a destination of its own, replete with great dim sum, classy shops, and sleek design, set on Lantau Island. I feel fortunate to have flown in and out of two of the world's top three airports: HKIA and Seoul Incheon.
4. Repulse Bay. You'd think folks in Hong Kong are self-deprecating, with names like Repulse Bay and Junk Bay for beaches that are anything but repulsive or junky. They're exquisite and sit alongside Hong Kong's impressive mountains topped with high-rises that rise up to incredible heights.

5. Nathan Road. This super-busy street is the heart of Kowloon Peninsula and a popular destination for tourists and locals. You can find the best food, shopping, serene Kowloon Park, and places of worship. And foreigners shouldn't worry; most people in HK speak English. After all, HK used to be under British rule. There's something going on at literally all hours of the day and night. Hong Kong never sleeps.

De Standaard Magazine stortte zich dit weekend in mannenmode en dus ook in mannenondergoed. Modieuze slips en boxers zijn dan ook incontournable. Elk zichzelf respecterend modehuis heeft wel wat ondermode in de aanbieding. Maar ook de massamerken hinken niet meer achterop.

Enkele evoluties:

• Ook 'huishoudmerken' als Dim, die je elke supermarkt vindt, ontwikkelt nu speciale lijnen, waarbij er nieuwe kleuren zijn verwerkt en nieuwe stoffen worden gebruikt. Maar de Belg is conservatief. Ilse Van Eetvelt vertelt dat Dim nog steeds meer klassieke modellen in wit, zwart en grijs verkoopt. Siân Fuhrmann van Hom zegt dan weer dat voor Belgische mannen pasvorm en draagcomfort primordiaal blijven. Sloggi houdt het gedurfde Edelweiss-model, een bruine short met valluik en bretellen buiten België.

Anderzijds ziet aussieBum-ontwerper Sean Ashby homo's nog steeds als trendsetters.

It makes me want to be dim. To care just about materialsm and not people, things and nature.

I'd miss being "smart" at times. But life would be easier, life would be freer and life would be better without a care in the world. For anything.

The first thing that needs to be done is create a web site and choose ASP.NET Web Service from the Template window.  If you are thinking about using the web service as it is intended for, reusability, then you will want to place it in a directory folder that will be accessible to all application that can use it on the intranet (although you can reference a web service by using a web address, we will not go into that). An example of a folder would be ‘WebServices’. This folder would hold all web service created. We will name this web service ‘getAllStationInfo’.

Once you have your web site started you will see that the default page opens up and is ready for coding.  It has already imported the namespaces needed at the top and has a public class named Service.  We will be adding more namespaces to ours because of the nature of the service – database query.  It will look like the below:

Now to get back to the web service. You will notice that right before the function there is a line: <WebMethod()> _

This attribute enables the web service method to communicate with we appications located at local or remote locations.

Something I failed to mention previously is that there is a web service attribute that can be set. The syntax is like so:

<WebService(Namespace:="http://servername")> _

This will provide additional information about the webservices, such as information about the functionality of the web service itself.

All we are doing in this web service is creating a dataset to be consumed by anyone who wants to use it.

To test the web service, all you have to do is right click on the service.asmx file and view in browser. If it works you will see the function name that you can click and then the next page allows you to invoke the function. The reuslt of clicking on invoke is a new page filled with XML data. If you see this, you have accomplished creatign a web service.  You can create a web service to do anything you want it to do.  Just keep in mind that the key is reusablity.

In the next post, we will look at how to actually consume a web service in an appication and how to display the results of a web service.

Simm: Tipo de memoria ram, obsoleta, que se encontraba de 30 y 72 pines  y algunas se usaban en pares como computadores de marca, así mismo estos se insertan en slot ubicados en la placa base, usados n sistema de 32 bits y menos, después de esto siguió la memoria dimm

Dimm: Es un modulo de memoria lineal doble, tipo de memoria Ram  usada  desde la famosa salida al mercado de los Pentium 1, son reconocidos ya que tiene dos espacios libres en la memoria y se inserta de una sola forma en el slot, ahora esta viene en dos otros formatos la memoria ddr y ddr2; además esta memoria se desempeña en ambiente de 64 bits y puede llegar a 72 bits

Rim:  Es un tipo de memoria ram con tecnología rdram y que es producida  por la compañía Rambus inc para superar la dimm de 133 mhz, desplazado actualmente de mercado por la memoria ram ddr y ddr2, ya que esta se desarrollaba en ambiente de 16 bits.

Simm:   Existe en dos formatos, la de 32 bits de 30 contactos en tamaño de 256 kb  hasta 16 mb y  la memoria simm de 72 contactos de 4 hasta 128 mb

Rim: 184 pines

Serves 2

Ingredients:

Eggs (Dim): 4

Potato (Aalu): 2 medium sizes

Onion (Peyaj): 1 large

Garlic (Rasun):  5 to 6 cloves

Ginger garlic paste (Aada rasun bata): ½ tablespoons

Turmeric powder (Halud guro): ½ teaspoons

Chilli powder (Sukhno lankar guro): 1 teaspoon

Tomato sauce: 1 tablespoon

Garam Masala: ½ teaspoon

Preparation:

• Cut the potato in large square pieces and the onions also.
• Boil the egg and potato together.
• De-shell the eggs and cut into halves
• Heat oil in a wok and fry the potatoes and eggs separately. While frying the eggs do not toss them hard else the yolk will come out.

• Heat oil in the wok, sauté the onions.
• Throw in the garlic and again sauté for a minute or two.
• As the onions turn golden brown add the ginger garlic paste, tomato sauce, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, water and cook till the gravy thickens.
• Add the potatoes and put in some more water if required.
• Add the eggs and toss lightly.
• Sprinkle the garam masala and cook for a minute with a lid to retain the smell of it.
