There are a lot of free and commercial tools available for ripping your DVDs. Here, I will list a few of the free ones I have come across:

Handbrake - "HandBrake is an open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded DVD to MPEG-4 converter, available for MacOS X, Linux and Windows. Any DVD source can be output to different formats for playback on Apple TV, PS3s, PSPs, iPods, etc."

MediaCoder - "MediaCoder is a free universal batch media transcoder, which nicely integrates most popular audio/video codecs and tools into an all-in-one solution. With a flexible and extendable architecture, new codecs and tools are added in constantly as well as supports for new devices."

DVD Shrink - "DVDShrink is software to backup DVD discs. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disc. DVDShrink will also burn your backup DVD."

DVDFab HD Decrypter - "DVDFab HD Decrypter is a simple version of DVDFab Platinum. It copies entire DVD movie to hard disk, and removes all the protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) while copying. It also comes with full HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support (Removes AACS)."

DVD Decrypter - "A software application that can create backup disc images of the DVD-Video structure of DVDs. It can be used to image any DVD, but is especially useful for decrypting copy-protected movies. The program can also burn images to disc."

DVD43 - "DVD43 is a free DVD decrypter that runs in the background and decrypts DVDs on the fly."

VLC Media Player - Yes, this popular "plays-anything" media player can also rip DVDs! Find out how by visiting WikiHow.

RipIt4Me - "A freeware utility that helps you backup your copy protected DVDs. Recently released DVDs are now very often equipped with stronger copy protections - such as ARccOS and RipGuard DVD. Programs like DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter cannot handle these types of discs. RipIt4Me is fully automated and the wizard will guide you through all the necessary steps involved."

Jedenfalls decryptet das Programm wahlweise RSDF oder CCF und gibt die Links im Klartext aus. Das nur 5 MB kleine Tool benötigt nicht mal eine Installation ;)

Das Prozedere ist ziemlich einfach. Ihr klickt auf das Programm und es öffnet sich ein neues Fenster

Dann wird auf "Open RSDF" oder ggf. "Open CCF" geklickt, RSDF oder CCF ausgwählt und das Programm läd den Container.

Ein Klick auf "Decrypt" lässt das Programm den Container in Sekundenschnelle entschlüsseln und die Links werden unverschlüsselt im Klartext ausgegeben

Dann kann man noch alle Links in die Zwischenablage kopieren und/oder eine Textdatei mit den Links erstellen.

Sollten Kommentare alà "Scheiß Petze" kommen - Ich hab noch nie gepetzt und habe das auch nicht vor. Will man allerdings DL-Manager wie Flashget oder ähnliches benutzen ist man ziemlich aufgeschmissen wenn man einen HD Film mit 80 Parts lädt und jeden einzeln per Copy & Paste einfügen muss ;)
Außerdem häufen sich Lesermails von Leuten die nach eben jenem Tool suchen.

Ich hoffe einfach auf das Gute im Menschen und das dieses Tool nicht als Abusemittel benutzt missbraucht wird =)

Los artículos que hablan de cosas mejores suelen tener la desventaja de que tratan sobre experiencias personales y las experiencias personales son distintas en cada persona, de éste modo lo que para mi es lo mejor no tiene porque serlo para nadie más, si bien hay una gran cantidad de software que es considerado mejor por una mayoría siempre hay gente a la que no le gusta o simplemente no le funciona y nunca lo considerarán mejor que otro del mismo tipo que les realice la labor. Visto esto daremos un repasillo leve a estas cinco herramientas.

DVD Shrink: para Windows, para mi sin duda el mejor copiador de DVD's, es un programa bastante completo y de muy fácil uso, la mayor pega es que un programa prohibido y está un poco desfasado.

DVD Decrypter: también para Windows, éste es sin duda (para mi gusto, claro) el mejor ripeador, en el Shrink he puesto copiador porque hace algo más que ripear el DVD, el Decrypter es más un ripeador puro y duro, extrae el contenido al disco duro y es raro que no pueda con un DVD, por desgracia es otro programa prohibido.

DVD Fab HD Decrypter: otro programa para Windows de fácil uso, es más parecido al DVD Shrink que al DVD Decrypter, no lo he testeado a fondo pero lo poco que lo he usado no le he encontrado pega alguna, el programa cumple y eso es suficiente para mi.

MacTheRipper: para Mac OS ... nada que comentar sobre este programa porque no he usado nunca la cosa esa de la manzana y tampoco tengo referencias.

HandBrake: dejo para el final la que quizás sea la opción más interesante. HandBrake es un programa multiplataforma, funciona bajo Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS X y Linux; además está bajo licencia GPL y como es lógico se puede acceder al código fuente. También es más como el Shrink, se puede ripear o convertir directamente pero incluye bastante más opciones como exportar a MP4 (iPod, PSP, etc), MKV, OGG, AVI, extracción de audio en AAC, MP3, Vorbis o AC3 y del vídeo en MPEG-4 o H.264 además de las opciones de capítulos o una calculadora de bitrate (esencial para calcular el tamaño final del archivo).

Es un programa con bastante buena pinta que probaré en cuanto pueda para sacar mis propias conclusiones, de momento habrá que conformarse con el Wiki (en inglés).
