Kemaren-kemaren untuk usia 13-30an sempat digegerkan dengan arwah yang akan mendatangi jika seseorang memutar lagu ‘jauh’ milik Caramel. Yang konon dilantunkan oleh si Geby, sedangkan Geby kononnya lagi punya pacar pembalap yang meninggal karena kecelakaan. Dan disaat kecelakaan itu Geby sedang ujian sehingga mereka tidak sempat komunikasi. Dan disaat kecelakaan itu Geby tidak mengetahui. Secara tidak sengaja Geby akhirnya mengetahui kalau pacarnya sudah ,eninggal. Karena shock Geby sering melamun, dan akhirnya ditemani gitarnya dia menciptakan lagu. Dan lagu itu selalu didendangkan hingga dia memutuskan untuk bunuh diri maksudnya ingin menusul pacarnya. Padahal jika dinalar mana mungkin Geby menyusul pacarnya karena Akhirat kan sangat luas…karena belum ketemu itu maka kalau ada orang yang memutar lagu itu malam-malam arwah Geby akan mendatangi. Begitulah sekelumit cerita yang sempat heboh. Dan lagu itu di download di internet, sekarang hamper sebagian remaja pernah mendownload lagu tersebut ke Hp masing-masing. Dan alhasil Lagu itu booming sampai sekarang. Kebetulan aku bekerja di dunia entertainment sebagai Program Director salah satu radio di Bandung, request lagu Geby cukup luar biasa. Sehingga Atasanku memasang lagu tersebut dalam list kita. Sekarang bukan hanya di radio saja karena di pasar-pasar bahkan mall lagu Geby ini berkumandang bagaikan lagu wajib.

Dan yang aneh, kalau setelah mendengarkan lagu tersebut orang tersebut akan mendapatkan uang. Ini benar2 terjadi di Bandung, Orang itu baru saja memutar lagu Geby eh tahu-tahu ada orang datang dan membeli lagu tersebut, o rupanya orang tersebut penjual VCD bajakan di kaki lima dan ada orang yang membeli. Ya jadinya dapat duitlah…hehe

Sebenarnya kalau bercerita tentang Geby seperti yang dikutip oleh situs detik.com, ada cewek usia 23 tahun yang suka nulis di blog maupun bikin novel-lah yang sebenarnya ikut mempopulerkan cerita ini. Dialah Agnes Davonar. Dia membuat novel dengan lakon utama Angel, dan pada pesan pembuka dia sempat menuliskan kata kisah bunuh diri.

while in chad, president Sarkozy gave hints that he is going to change France's defence arrangements with Francophone Africa. Over the years France has been notorious for propping up murderous and corrupt dictators like Deby himself with military and financial aid - a recent case being the French air force's help in quelling a rebel offensive that nearly toppled the Djamena government.

This is a most welcome move. African states, and especially the unusually volative Francophone Africa, should be left to manage their own affairs and hold their leaders accountable to themselves and not Paris. Perhaps with reduced military aid the Debys of Francophone Africa will start listening to the voices of their sick, hungry and illiterate constituencies.

Sarkozy's stop in South Africa was all about energy. According to the IHT, French engineering company Alstom on Friday signed a deal worth €1.36 billion (about US$2 billion) to equip a new coal power station for South Africa. Rumours also abound about another billion dollar deal involving French nuclear giant Areva and US group Westinghouse Electric to build a nuclear power plant in the country. South Africa has been going through an energy crisis that many experst fear will slow much needed economic growth.

Deby adalah gadis yang sebelah kanan. sebelah kirinya adalah Elvira.

Dari namanya yang unik dan indah, kelihatannya tulisan ini bakal panjang. Deby Sagita Goly, teman kelas sejak bertemu di kelas XI IPA 1, saat itu tidak terlalu akrab, dan lagi-lagi aku meragukan eksistensinya di kelas XI IPA 1. Deby adalah salah satu cewe popular di kelas kami yang juga merupakan cewe yang cerewet dengan rambut dan senyumnya yang indah. dia adalah satu dari tiga legenda menurut penilaian mata seorang bajingan seperti saya, and believe me, she's cute. Tapi kalo lagi datang galaknya, saya pun sering dipanggil setan. well sebenarnya meskipun gak lagi marah aku juga dipanggil setan... menyenangkan dan menyakitkan :)

Gadis ini hanya datang kepadaku dan bicaranya manis banget saat ada maunya, yaitu saat minta lyrics lagu dan ada tugas bahasa inggris. tapi akhir-akhir ini dia menyerah kalo soal bantuan bahasa inggris karena selalu saja banyak alasanku. Banyak yang bilang Deby gendut dikit tapi kayaknya enggak kok, cukup ideal. Deby ini sukanya main-main, jadi mungkin hidupnya senang banget. Tapi yang paling keren dari nih gadis adalah dia tuh jago bahasa mandarin. kalo ulangan semester bahasa mandarin, dia selalu bantu aku. thank you banget! kebetulan nomor urutnya tidak terlalu jauh dari nomorku.

Secara umum, Deby seorang gadis yang baik, aktif dalam kegiatan kelas, selalu penuh energi, tapi biasanya suka tidur dikelas! emang nih anak berubah-ubah sifatnya. diantara 41 murid, dia mendapat nomor urut 7 dan berulang tahun setiap tanggal 11 Desember. Oh iya, dia mempunyai seorang saudara kembar yang bernama Desy. saat keduanya datang ke Fancy Fair yang diadakan sekolah, mereka sangat mirip dan cukup susah dibedakan. meskipun menurut pengakuan cowonya, mudah saja membedakan keduanya. memang orang kembar sifat keduanya tidak selalu sama. :D Oh ya, Deby atau Debby adalah nama English dan Hebrew, yang berarti kumbang. well, halo kumbang... hahaha

Les rebelles du Mouvement pour la justice et l'égalité (JEM), le plus puissant militairement des groupes rebelles du Darfour, avaient affirmé plus tôt qu'ils marchaient sur Khartoum après de violents combats avec les forces gouvernementales au nord de la capitale.

"L'opération est un échec. Le JEM a tenté de déstabiliser (le Soudan) mais les forces soudanaises s'y sont opposées", a déclaré à l'AFP Kamal Obeid, un haut responsable du parti au pouvoir au Soudan, le Congrès national.

M. Obeid a accusé le Tchad d'avoir soutenu l'attaque.

"Mais la tentative du président Idriss Deby de déstabiliser le Soudan a échoué", a-t-il affirmé.

Un porte-parole du gouvernement tchadien a démenti plus tard "toute implication" de son pays dans l'attaque.

Un couvre-feu a été imposé à Khartoum à partir de samedi 17H00 (14H00 GMT). Initialement prévu jusqu'à dimanche à 06H00 (03H00 GMT), il a été prolongé de quatre heures, a annoncé le ministère de l'Intérieur dans un communiqué.

La télévision d'Etat montrait samedi soir des images de rebelles présumés après leur capture ainsi que de véhicules et d'armes saisis par les forces gouvernementales.

L'armée avait annoncé plus tôt qu'elle faisait face à "une attaque des rebelles de Khalil Ibrahim (chef du JEM) dans le nord de Omdurman", la ville jumelle de Khartoum.

Le JEM, pour sa part, avait affirmé s'être emparé de la base aérienne de Wadi Sayyedna, au nord de Khartoum.

Un habitant de Omdurman, Sadiq Babo Nimr, a affirmé à l'AFP par téléphone que les résidents de la ville se terraient chez eux.

"C'est juste devant mon appartement, j'entends le bombardement d'une artillerie très lourde. (...) Il y a des balles perdues qui sifflent autour de l'immeuble", a-t-il dit.

Selon M. Nimr, l'électricité et le réseau de téléphonie mobile sont coupés.

L'armée s'est déployée dans les rues quasi-désertes de Khartoum, où les commerces étaient fermés, a indiqué un témoin à l'AFP par téléphone depuis la capitale.

Il n'était pas possible dans l'immédiat de savoir si les combats avaient fait des victimes.

"Nous ne voulons pas que ce régime suicidaire reste en place et tue (...) notre peuple tous les jours", a affirmé à l'AFP le porte-parole du JEM Ahmed Hussein Adam, joint par téléphone à Londres.

Les médias gouvernementaux ont en outre rapporté que l'armée soudanaise avait repoussé une attaque du Tchad dans la zone frontalière de Kishkish. Un porte-parole de l'armée soudanaise a estimé que le raid tchadien était une tentative de faire diversion à l'avancée du JEM vers la capitale.

"Nos forces armées ont tenu tête aux forces tchadiennes, leur infligeant des victimes, et les ont ramenées en territoire tchadien", a affirmé le général de brigade Mohammed Osmane al-Aghbache à la radio Omdurman, accusant le Tchad de "soutien direct" à "l'opération subversive" du JEM.

D'après un diplomate occidental, le gouvernement soudanais a appelé vendredi les ambassades pour dire que des rebelles se dirigeaient "vers l'est depuis la frontière tchadienne".

La sécurité a été renforcée dans la capitale depuis vendredi, a affirmé le diplomate qui a requis l'anonymat.

Un spécialiste américain du Darfour, Eric Reeves, a qualifié les combats de samedi de "développement extraordinaire".

Le Darfour est ravagé depuis cinq ans par un conflit qui a fait près de 200.000 morts, selon des organisations internationales, et plus de deux millions de déplacés. L'ONU a même avancé le chiffre de 300.000 morts.

La Maison Blanche s'est dite "très inquiète" des dernières violences et a appelé les rebelles du Darfour et les forces gouvernementales à cesser les hostilités.

Préparez-vous aussi à le remercier pour la "libération" de la canaille Ecolo-Colombianno-Française...

Sarkozy and his blushing bride were in Africa this week (South Africa &Chad), of course accompanied by 40 of France's top business leaders as well. In one of his speech, he referred to new accords between France's future involvement in its former colonies. Well, that's good news, considering how much France has interfered in Africa's military, economic and social fields. Our leaders will then face responsibility and accountability in their actions with no prospect of help from the West. The only thing that worries me, is it might just make it harder for the necessary interventions France should be making (Darfur to cite one of them). Sarkozy has been very vocal about changing France and Africa's relations. given how bad it's crippled Africa, I think the change is more than welcome. Though hopefully, this is not just a tactic to deny help where it's called for. Let Deby battle it out with his rebels. You come fighting, you leave fighting.

I'm puzzled at the amount of irresponsibility witnessed here. Prince Harry goes to Afghanistan. I'm not sure whether it's just a spoil move (blame him), craziness from his entourage (blame Buckingham), laxism from the army (blame the military) or mere irresponisability of the media (blame the press) for leaking this story. It was reported yesterday the Prince, 3rd in line to the throne was in Afghanistan fighting since December. I'm sure he was on the Most wanted list ever since the news came out. Today, Britain has decided to bring him back. We can all agree this is too much a risk for him and his brigade to go through. In the end, it took four irresponsible, crazy, laxist, spoiled to make this move happen. But hey, he's back in England, safe and sound, and should stay there.

Somehow, it was commendable for him to go. Just not worth getting killed over. After all, if Britain can send their troops there to fight, they can send a royal. It's like Michael Moore standing on the steps of Congress in Fahrenheit 9/11 asking congressmen how many kids they had sent or be willing to send to Iraq. The response was an overwhelming "not many".
