Westonbirt Challenge cup

On Saturday 5th July, 1st Malmesbury Scout Troop are hosting a challenge cup at Westonbirt Arboretum. The competition is open to all scout troops in the district. In groups of 4 scouts they will attempt to complete as many bases and tasks in an allotted time period. Bases will involve problem solving and incidents.

The competition starts at 1pm and finishes at around 5.30. Entrance fee costs £5. If you would like to enter please fill in the form below and either email it to: cath@corshamscouts.org.uk or bring along to scouts asap.

Young Leaders, we also require help to man the bases and offer general assistance on the day so please let us know if you can come along. Many thanks.

1st Corsham Scout Minibus

The minibus is available to any youth organisation. We have recommended donations for use, depending on the length of time. The minibus seats 14 plus the driver. To qualify for driving, a copy of your driving licence must be submitted beforehand to send to our insurance company. You must not have any active penalty points.

District Cooking Competition 2008

Well done to both teams who entered from our troop. We came a very respectable 2nd and 4th.

On the menu was fajita rafts, Spag bol and fruit meringues. For the other team, tomato soup, spag bol (!) and greek yoghurt with fruit. Looked delicious!

Ghost walk October 2007

the Young Leaders and Ian did an excellent historic walk through Corsham, entertaining the scouts with their dramatics and characters from yester year. Well done!

1st Corsham Centenary

Annual Scout Camp 2007

This year Annual Camp took place in Freddy's field, at Seend. We were joined by a small contingent of ENF scouts from Gian in France:
