Come previsto questa sera abbiamo giocato un torneo lampo alla Caffetteria Mazzini! Dato che Mirko Omiccioli sapeva di non poter terminare tutte le partite per questioni di lavoro, non ha partecipato al torneo, dopo 4 ore di allenamenti calcistici non avevo proprio voglia di giocare a scacchi, quindi ho stilato un girone all'italiana che prevedesse un turno di riposo.

Vi sono state numerose sorprese, Il MF Brancaleoni Maurizio che ha dato lustro al nostro torneo amichevole è stato fermato sul pareggio da Marco Sala e ha perso per il tempo con Paolo Ruggiero, ma grazie alla vittoria con Krenar Dule e a qualche risultato favorevole, ha terminato al primo posto con mezzo punto di vantaggio!

A fine torneo Andruccioli stuzzicava Sala evidenziando come fosse davanti a lui per via della vittoria nello scontro diretto, gli feci notare che ciò che contava era il sonneborg-berger e che se Maurizio non avesse perso una partita Marco sarebbe stato davanti. Comunque sia, aveva ragione Daniele, nello spareggio per il terzo posto conta in questo caso, lo scontro diretto!

Con "Ti rincontrerò" ha conquistato il disco di platino, stazionandosi ai vertici delle classifiche degli album più venduti. Marco Carta, vincitore dell'ultima edizione di Amici, torna con i 14 brani live del cd-dvd "in Concerto", registrato durante il suo tour estivo. Intanto nelle radio arriva il nuovo singolo "Un grande libro nuovo". Il cantante sardo viene dato tra i possibili concorrenti al prossimo Festival di Sanremo.

"Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist", commedia romantica Sony di Peter Sollett, con Michael Cera e Kat Dennings: a New York, Nick (Cera) chiede a Nora (Dennings) di fingere di essere per cinque minuti la sua fidanzata, in modo da non sentirsi strano quando vede la sua ex-ragazza entrare nel locale dove sta suonando il gruppo di Nick. Quando Nick e Nora però finiscono per baciarsi, la situazione avrà uno sviluppo davvero imprevisto...

"How to Lose Friends & Alienate People", commedia MGM di Robert B. "Religulous", film documentario Lionsgate di Larry Charles, con Bill Maher: l'ateo Bill Maher cerca di comprendere il credo che si trova dietro diverse religioni del mondo.

IL POSTER: "VALKYRIE"

Nello spazio dedicato alle nuove locandine originali di prossimi film in uscita, questa volta ecco il poster del thriller storico "Valkyrie", in uscita negli Stati Uniti il 26 dicembre 2008 (ed in Italia il 27 febbraio 2009).
Diretto da Bryan Singer (i primi due "X-Men", "I soliti sospetti"), il film vede un cast capitanato da Tom Cruise e comprendente anche Kenneth Branagh, Christian Berkel, Bill Nighy, David Schofield, Terrence Stamp e Kevin McNally.
Ambientato durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il film è basato su vicende realmente accadute: il colonnello tedesco Claus von Stauffenberg (Cruise) rimane gravemente ferito in Africa e torna nella sua Germania ormai nazista, dove aiuterà a concepire l' "Operazione Valchiria", un piano approvato da Adolf Hitler che coinvolge un governo ombra che possa subentrare al potere in caso di morte del Führer. Stauffenberg si unirà alla Resistenza tedesca, diventando parte del complotto del 20 luglio, che mirava ad uccidere Hitler e mettere in esecuzione Valchiria per prendere il controllo del Paese e firmare la pace con gli alleati.
