The holidays are just around the corner and stitching time becomes precious. I have posted a free holiday cross stitch design called "Mary's Lamb" onto the homepage of my website needlecraftdesign.com with the thought of leaving you time to stitch it! Some ideas for finishing are a christmas ornament, a gift tag or a small token bag for a tiny advent gift.

Best wishes for the coming holidays,

Melinda

I'd like to share with you my counted cross stitch design, "A Country Christmas", which is debuting in the December 2007 issue of The Cross Stitcher Magazine. My inspiration for this design is my hometown where each year a wonderful Christmas display is set up in the town Village Green. With great pleasure each year, my family, along with many others, takes part in the festivities and Christmas caroling. It gives us the opportunity to join one another in the community and to see friends and neighbors. It is always fun to watch the excitement of children as they see the lights and displays on the Green. I designed "A Country Christmas" with these things in mind. I enjoyed stitching this design last March as it kept me in the Christmas frame of mind long after the holiday was over. It's nice to finally see it in print!
