Here are the first 6 minutes of the Dark Knight movie (the IMAX Prologue) which is featured on the special features of The Batman Begins Blu-ray Disc.

Us three here at The Movie Connoisseur Blog are super stoked to see this highly anticipated movie! If you are anything like us  (we assume you are since you are here reading this) then you are probably also impatiently patiently awaiting the release. If we are correct (and we feel we always are ha ha ha) we thought you guys would love to see some of the Dark Knight movie stuff to hold you over until next week... Call this a teaser post of sorts.

* A little FYI for anyone who does not already know that the character of Rachel Dawes played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins will now be played by Maggie Gyllenhaal for The Dark Knight. Katie apparently turned down the role due to scheduling conflicts (Mad Money). I usually am really pissed about character changes but I am ok with this one because Katie isn't very believable as a strong hard woman but Maggie is so I think it works in everyone interest even though I think after the last movie they could have written the Rachel Dawes character out and replaced her with a new leading lady but who cares bring on the cool stuff!

Oh and by the way, if you plan on seeing this movie opening weekend (and who wouldn't?) you should REALLY consider buying your tickets now. I have heard a lot of places are already selling out and yes, I did already buy my tickets... I am seeing it Thursday night or Friday morning depending on how you look at it (it is the midnight showing). What can I say, I am a dork I guess I just really love me some Batman movies!

WHY SO SERIOUS?

... maybe because the movie is taking FOREVER to get here.

This movie is a remake of an older movie titled the same but from 1957. I have never seen the original one but I liked this one a lot. It had a lot of action but not too much (my eyes did not hurt trying to follow the movement). Usually when I hear the word "western" I think boring. There are exceptions and this movie was one of them! There are some scenes in the movie that might make you cry, some that might make you mad, and some that might even make you laugh. 3:10 to Yuma has a little something in it for everyone! I give this movie 4 stars!

"Rancher Dan Evans heads into Bisbee to clear up issues concerning the sake of his land when he witnesses the closing events of a stagecoach robbery led by famed outlaw Ben Wade.
