Greetings from Brooklyn. I'm John, one third of the remix/minimix project known as Neon Coyote. When I stumbled upon Redthreat a while back, I knew it was bound to be one of my favorite daily reads. I could tell Nick was posting tracks he truly loved, and not just the same old stuff which is haphazardly hyped on so many blogs because of a big name behind it. Today we're gonna check out a bunch of tracks that I truly love, plus an exclusive mix from Neon Coyote's newest member, Chico Love. Let's go!

John Dahlback is a Swedish tech-house producer. You may have heard his track with Sebastian Ingrosso, "Lick My Deck." His melodies are some of the freshest I've heard in a long time, constantly overlapping in disjointed harmony that couldn't get any better. This man is a maestro. Here are two tracks off of his fantastic new album Winners and Fools.

I've really been down with Brooklyn's Hercules and Love Affair lately. They've put out one of the most original releases of the year so far, have been remixed perfectly, and are now trying their hand at remixing. Here's their take on Aeroplane's collaboration with Kathy Diamond. Make sure you cop the original as well.

Kris Menace rolls with those French producers we've all come to love, Alan Braxe, Fred Falke, and Lifelike. Not only has he teamed up with them for some great original tunes, he has remixed Air, LCD Soundsystem, Midnight Juggernauts, and Felix Da Housecat, to name a few. Here's his collaboration with Lifelike for Stars on 33.

Best for last, an exclusive Neon Coyote mix! Chico Love recently joined Neon Coyote, and has already banged out a bunch of great remixes. His first mix blows the roof off of your everyday track-after-track mixtape in classic Neon Coyote style. Try not to dance to this shit.

Friend, sighing: It really is a shame this school has to be so competitive... How'd you do on that last test?

Electro remixers from L.A. Played SXSW this year too, so indie cred confirmed. They were part of a badass lineup at CiRCA pretty recently too... too bad no one goes there.

More electro goodness. For some reason all the tracks, save one, on this myspace music player are all over the place.
Scroll down to "Television Loves The Nation" to get a feel for what this guy can really do and avoid the rest. Hard beat incoming.
Art by Beaucoup Zero

Yeah, that's right: Moulinex on Cut Copy. Can't get much better than that. Can it? I hadn't heard much from the Munich based Moulinex since his Break Chops press. If you're in Paris in the middle of March, you might want to head over to his show alongside Les Petits Pilous. That'd certainly be a gig to check out.

Cut Copy - Lights And Music (Moulinex Remix)

Let's get some cheers for Agnoek, right? Some pretty killer tunes in that last post, eh? That's why I had to get her over here: because Agnoek knows her shit. Locked. Well this is another one of her recommendations. Some more Crookers, and I know you people can't get enough of 'em. Too bad the only US date I see the Italian duo scheduled for is in New York.. and it's months away. I guess patience is a virtue.

Kid Cudi - Day N Night (Crookers First Remix)

Chico Love is another Epic Banger, chillin' out east with Neon Coyote. What I love about this crew so much is that they aren't so formulaic. They'll play what they like, at what tempo they want to play it, with whatever gangster, hipster, rocker, raver element they want with it. Their shit is banging, and crosses over genres and pretentious norms with relative ease in a form that always keeps me listening happily.

Kid Sister - Pro Nails (Chico Love Remix)

These Floorman remixes were sent to me a little while back, and I have no excuse for not posting them until now, but they aren't slipping under the radar on my watch. It's hard to keep track of everything, but I had a mental note there and I'm following through. Hot Chip seems to be getting a lot of attention lately after the release of their latest album, and I can see why.. They're Hot Chip! These remixes do the group a lot of justice. They are nice and relaxed, and something you won't usually find on this site. Solid as stone, this stuff makes me so happy.

Hot Chip - Boy From School (Floorman's School Disco Edit)

Hot Chip - Hold On (Floorman's Disco Freakshow Edit)

To finish this one off, I'm tossing out a Feist remix by none other than Britt, from Spoon. I didn't know they were really in the remix business, as I haven't seen any other track of it's kind prior to now. But if this is in fact the first, I hope it's of many to come. Taking one of my favorite tracks of Feist's (and a lesser played one,) he made a delightful acoustic transformation of the original.

Feist - I Feel It All (Britt From Spoon Remix)

This Vampire Weekend remix of Cape Cod, by the Black Dominoes, reminds me of a lighthearted Paul Simon single. I'm not sure which one, but it might be off of "One Trick Pony," which is a great album if you have yet to hear it. Regardless, I can practically taste the sugar cane rum when I listen to it. Makes me hate this weather. Chicago sucks right now. Bleh.

Vampire Weekend - Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa (Black Dominoes Remix)

I've been sitting on this one for a little while as well, Casino Inc's version of "Da Funk" by Daft Punk. And I dug up another Revolte remix of theirs, this time of "Voyager." On a side note, I was surprised the other day to turn on On Demand on my worthless ComCast cable box, click on the music section and sort through the electronica section only to find the video that Daft Punk created out of fan's footage from last summer's insane tour. Thought that was pretty cool... And that reminds me, I heard that Justice was having the Alive team create their new stage set, that we should probably be seeing at Coachella. Yeah. I bought my ticket, too.
