What's your favorite ice cream flavor? "Cake Batter ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. It's best with sprinkles on top. OMG, it's so good!"

Did you feel starstruck when you first met the Jonas Brothers? "No. But I did feel starstruck when I met [Aerosmith's] Steven Tyler. Well, I didn't even meet him. I saw him. I walked past him, but I call it 'meeting' because we were so close."

Camp Rock subistitui High School Musical ou nem chega perto?!

Anyone else think that there should have been a Camp Rock show in between?  Camp Rock is meant to be Disney's next big franchise but yet there has been no "camp rocking" in the parks.  As a cast member, I see how attached the tween set is to Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers.  A sequel is in the works, but there is a HUGE demand for more!

Joe Jonas, 18, of the Jonas Brothers says rumors that he is dating his Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato, 15, are not true and surfaced "probably just because I'm her costar."

Lovato plays, Mitchie Torres, a talented teen singer who wants to become a pop star in Camp Rock, Disney Channel's recently released made for TV musical.

She gets her break when she is overheard singing by teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor, plus lead singer of Connect Three, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas).

Miley Cyrus has earlier been linked to Joe's sibling Nick Jonas. Her single, "7 Things," from her upcoming album Breakout, which enumerate the seven things she hates in a boy she loves, is rumored to have been inspired by her relationship with Nick.

Nick joked about the rumored inspiration. "I heard about that rumor," Nick said. "Can't be about me, right?"

Lovato, who is currently recording her debut CD, has been opening for the Jonas Brothers' 2008 Burning Up Tour, which kicked off July 4 in Toronto.

The Jonas Brothers have helped her write 11 of her album songs.

We don't think that Demi and Joe are dating. But, him and Chelsea Staub...hmmm.... :)

Y bueno pues hoy en la sección de cositas locas (¿existe esa sección?), les traigo otros (mouse) un poco menos creepys pero raritos, igual ya los habían visto igual no, pero ahi les van...

Bueno, esto si es demasiado geek a mi parecer, el jean con teclado y mouse integrados, trae bocinas en las rodillas!!!, ya sabes, mientras ves porno puedes aprovechar y tocarte....

Y ya si de plano no puedes quitar el dedo del mouse ni para bañarte, pues tenemos lo que es el Mouse Jabón.... ay yo lo quiero...

     We started off the morning with Marshmallow Mateys cereal (that's generic Lucky Charms for anyone who doesn't know).  Then, in another stroke of genius, I sent the kids outside to bail out their leaky boat with some plastic sand pails.  (They emptied the swimming pool.)  After they dried off (!), we made eye patches.

     Oh, the eye patches...  I wish I would have set up a secret camera to capture the process.  We started off with plain black patches, and the kids got to decorate them.  (In hindsight, I should have used black felt or a sheet of craft foam, but in the spirit of anti-perfectionism, we used what I had, which was construction paper.)  They are NOT very pirate-ish, but they are still very cool, and they speak volumes about my kids and their personalities.  (We even made one for Abbie.)

     After lunch, we had a pirate treasure hunt.  I had the kids help me sort our plastic food, the Little People toys (gaah!  Don't get me started!  No matter how many times we sort them into their correct bins, they still end up all over the house), books and shoes, and for every "treasure" they found, they got to trade it in for pirate booty.  I used gold-foil-wrapped Rolos (because apparently you can only buy chocolate coins for St. Patrick's Day) and you would have thought it was Halloween.  From the delighted squeals for chocolate or the resulting sugar high, I'm not entirely certain of which.

     I forced the kids to have some quiet time in the afternoon, because by that point I was ready to walk my own plank, and after they got up, we started our "Buried Treasure Mac & Cheese".  It was utterly disgusting and completely unhealthy, which is why my kids gobbled it right up, I'm sure.  (Sssssh...  don't tell them I used-- gasp-- LEFTOVERS.)  I sliced up our last hot dog and two hamburgers from the 4th of July BBQ and threw them into some penne pasta and cheese sauce.  (My mouth is watering just thinking about it, and not in the good way.)  I even called it "Bacon Cheeseburger Mac" but was quickly and unanimously corrected by my little swashbucklers.  In unison.

     After we swabbed the deck (dang it, we should have mopped the kitchen floor in our socks!  Next year...) and cleared the dinner dishes, we watched Camp Rock, which had nothing to do with pirates, but was taking up valuable space on our DVR.  (Oh, I am HORRIBLE!)  Everyone enjoyed it, although some of them enjoyed it more than some of me. 

     Oh well.  We were together, and that was important.

Since we have never had an update about the Disney star Alyson Stoner, we've decided to post her interview on MuchonDemand, in Canada!

Anyway, my stylist (Stephanie at Hairworx in Hiram) suggested a heavy bang to help disguise my not-so-cute chick 'do.  I was feeling crazy (or maybe just tired and didn't care -I don't know) so I said 'go for it'.  After losing even more hair to her scissors, I got a glimpse at my coif.  It was definitely different, which was good. So off I went to do some errands.  I always like to do errands after getting my haircut because I like to maximize the time when your hair actually looks like the stylist intended it to look.  After catching my reflection in a few store mirrors, I keep thinking my hair reminded me of someone else's hair.  Entering Target, I finally realized who.  It's Mitchie's hair from Camp Rock.  My fear was confirmed when I came home and told Bill, to hear my daughter from the other room saying "that's the first thing I thought when I saw you".  I say fear because I'm not sure I want to appear to be trying to look like a 15-year-old Disney channel star :) 

It really cracked me up this morning when my 6-year-old son said, in a very thoughtful tone, "Mom, your hair looks like Mitchie's on Camp Rock. Pause  Is Dad going to get hair like Joe (Jonas)?"

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep styling it that way or go back to my old side-part ways.  So if you see a 30+year-old mommy about town who looks a little like Mitchie from Camp Rock, it may or may not be me :)

Hablando de cosas horribles, Disney Channel estrena otra de sus muy publicitadas peliculas: Camp Rock.

Para una persona comun y corriente esta pudo haber sido la mejor pelicula del universo y sus alrededores, pero para una persona como yo que esta acostumbrada a los grandes musicales de la era dorada de MGM esto es un verdadero insulto. ¿Quién dijo que esta pelicula al igual que High School Musical son musicales? quien lo halla dicho definitivamente nunca en su vida ha visto singin in the rain o the band wagon, menos mal que Fred Astaire y Gene Kelly ya murieron para no ver estas atrocidades, pobres... no lo soportarian.

Los Jonas Brothers tienen talento, tienen buenas canciones y seria una bloggera muy mentirosa si dijera lo contrario porque mi MP4 tiene varias canciones de ellos, pero una cosa es el talento y otra cosa es que esten en la television 24 horas al dia y Joe Jonas cayendose ya esta muy pero muy rayado... sabemos que tienes problemas en los pies pero ya por favor... fue gracioso en los AMW pero eso no significa que te tienes que caer cada vez que sales en television.

¿Donde estan los canales de cable que recordamos y amamos? Disney channel cuando pasaba Aprendiendo a Vivir, Amor Fraternal, Chico Listo, Mejorando la Casa... y a la hora de las peliculas uno se divertia viendo mama virtual, la suerte del irlandes y esa que era de unas gemelas basketbolistas, claro que nada es perfecto y tambien nos calabamos a Lizzie McGuire pero prefiero un maraton de eso que a Hannah Montana. Ahora solo le lavan el cerebro a los niños pasando 24 horas de Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron y los Jonas Brothers como los idolos del momento y el modelo a seguir de todos.

¿Quieren ver un musical? no vean ninguno de Disney Channel... esos no son musicales de verdad, busquen uno de MGM entre los años 30 y 50, ahi si habia talento y mas que todo seriedad artistica.

Si algun dia se les ocurre componer Disney Channel y volver a Discovery Kids como antes que pasaban Arte Mania, Ciber Kids y el Fantasma Escritor... ese seria el dia mas feliz de mi vida, Barney y los otros muñequitos no son lo mio, eso se lo dejo a mis primitos menores de 5 años.
