In case you didn't get that the first time, let me say it again. I HATE THE HEAT! Summer to me is nothing but 12 weeks of suffering under that sweltering son of a bitch otherwise known as humidity. Throw in a little noose tightening at the hands of the electric company and you have yourself an entire season of oppression.

Okay, maybe that comes off just a little too harsh. I can't help it - boob sweat makes me cranky.

Whoa! Did I just say that? Apparently the heat has traveled from under my boobs straight to my head!

That's right...there is an "under" to my boobs...I am guessing it is what they have been pointing at for the last 10 years.

Oh my gosh, how has this post gone so bad, so quickly?

Oh that's right - it's because of the heat. The hot, steamy, staggering, skin burning, hair frizzing, sweat soaking heat and his faithful freakin sidekick, humidity. Have I mentioned I hold them both in deep contempt?

I also hold them completely responsible for any damages caused when I ran that red light and took out two mailboxes in hot pursuit of an ice cream truck.

I'm sure you couldn't guess this, but I much prefer the winter. It's not that I enjoy sub zero temperatures or deep freezing wind chills, but at least when you get cold, you have ammunition. Another sweater, extra blankets, three layers of socks.  But in the summer, once you've hit naked, you're out of options.

I should probably move to a cooler climate. But you know, with global warming and all, I guess the grass isn't any frostier....

Perhaps I should go lie down and pray for an early Fall. There is no Groundhog for that now, is there?  My guess is that Phil's contract with the town of Punxsutawney states that he doesn't have to come out of his air conditioned hole. Alas, I'm left with nothing but a Sharpie to check off the calendar on the fridge.

While I'm there, I'm going to put my bra in the freezer.

Da noi contattato Jack, ancora incredulo, tramite i suoi padroni, ha rilasciato tali dichiarazioni: «Sono stato multato per vagabondaggio nella mia città. Proprio io che credevo di essere un libero braidese. In centro ho un sacco di amici che frequento abitualmente... il macellaio, una signora a cui sono molto affezionato che lavora in banca, gli ambulanti del mercato, posto che adoro per i suoi profumi, tutti i bimbi che mi fanno un sacco di feste non appena mi vedono, ma ne potrei elencare molti altri. Purtroppo adesso la mia libertà futura è un po’ compromessa. Mi sento come la versione canina di Nelson Mandela nella prigione di Robben Island. Ma bando ai piagnistei, non voglio abbattermi. Siamo in estate e ne approfitto per augurare a tutti voi, che siete liberi, buone vacanze!».

Dolce & Gabbana makes the best bra I've ever had. Yesterday I purchased one of these bras on sale - my size is difficult to find, and is sometimes even too small or too big - I've just found the best fitting bra I've had in a long time.

I jumped and they stayed put. Bent over and they didn't fall out. The straps are even made a touch wider than usual straps. I'm in love. The bra set me back about $70, but marked down from the original $198, it really didn't seem that bad.

And I look hot.

Our scene focuses on the laundry room of an on campus apartment facility right on the main street of the campus.  Deep in the basement Rob is begrudgingly doing his laundry.  He has no socks left, he is on his last pair of underwear and he’s wearing that t-shirt from high school that magically “shrunk” over the past three years.  Rob continues to reassure himself that this is the shirt’s fault and not the 2,000 plus calories he ingests three to four nights a week in beer and pizza.  But there is laundry to be done and Rob must be diligent at his task because his lucky rugby shirt requires washing and chicks love rugby shirts and sometimes the guys that wear them.  This is not something proven scientifically, but rather something he suspects in the depths of his loins.  He goes to unload one of the washing machines, but stops dead once he sees what is in it.

What was in this washing machine is something very strange and mysterious to men of all ages.  They have been known to be called “delicates” by women.  But men know better than to call them this.  They are known in guy language as “bras and underwear”.  They come in various shapes and sizes, colors, prints, designs and styles.  Men don’t know the names of these things, but they know that they are very, very afraid of seeing them in the washing machine.  This is a Worst Case Scenario. 

As Rob takes a deep breath he desperately checks all the other washing machines in the laundry room to see how much time is left on them.  There is upwards of twenty minutes left on every single machine.  His mind races.  He will have to do the unthinkable, forbidden, borderline creepy thing.  He will have to remove the bras and underwear from the washing machine and put them into the dryer.

The estimated distance between the washing machine and the nearest available dryer is seven and half feet.  If Rob takes strides that are two and a half feet long, it will take him three strides to successfully move the contents.    If each stride takes 1.2 seconds, that is a total of 3.6 seconds of having “Girl stuff” in his arms.  Why is Rob so concerned?  He is concerned because of the three possible outcomes, each with increasing levels of embarrassment. 

The first outcome involves another guy deciding to do his laundry in that 3.6 second period.  He will see the guy holding the underwear, laugh at the unfortunate predicament of his fellow man and move on instantly. 

The second outcome involves another Girl coming down while he is moving the Girl stuff.  The Girl will probably think it looks funny to see such a large man handling such petite and wildly colored underwear.  Rob will be tragically embarrassed, but the Girl will move on and think it is no big deal.

The third outcome is by far the most embarrassing for the guy.  As the guy is moving these frilled and brightly colored things, the Girl to whom the underwear belongs walks into the laundry room.  Two things can then happen.  The guy spontaneously combusts or he will play it cool and ask if she brought fabric softener.  They will then have sex. 

I’m kidding, but that would be pretty rad if it happened though.

As Rob ponders these outcomes he shudders at the last one.  How horrible that would be.  He decides that he is a grown man and can handle this situation.  He’s just going to go for it. 

His heart is racing.  He kneels down, grabs all of the underwear and bras, pivots back towards the dryer.  He takes his first step and everything is cool.  On his second step the unthinkable happens.  Some underwear-like-thing begins to fall off the top of the pile he is carrying.  He panics.  In an effort to save the underwear he disrupts the delicate balance of delicates in his hands.  They fall out of his hands and scatter all across the floor.  It looks like a nuclear bomb of underwear has just hit in the laundry room.  Rob begins to sweat nervously.  Someone could come in any moment.  He gets on his knees and begins to frantically grab at thongs and boy shorts and bras with lace and… well he doesn’t know what he is grabbing half the time and that is the problem.  He is elated as he grabs the last piece…

Girl:  What are you doing?

Rob:  Oh, I was just moving some stuff to the dryer and I dropped it.

Girl:  That was nice of you.  I think that is my stuff.

Rob:  Oh… yikes.  Well… should I just go ahead and put it in the dryer then?

Girl:  I suppose so.

Rob:  Do you have any sabric foftener?

Girl:  Excuse me?

Rob:  We should have sex.

Girl:  What?!

Rob:  I said do you have any fabric softener.

Girl:  Oh yeah.  Right here.

Rob puts the delicates into the washing machine.  Turns back to her, grabs the “sabric foftener” from her outstretched hand and starts the dryer.

Rob:  Okay.  Well I’ll see you later I suppose.

Girl:  Ahem, aren’t you forgetting something?

Rob:  I don’t know what you mean.

Girl:  Is that my underwear in your pocket?

Rob:  Yes.  I thought I would keep it.

Girl:  Why would you think that?

Rob:  Because… well I helped you move your stuff to the dryer.  Like a panties tax.

Girl:  What the hell is the “panties tax”?

Rob:  You know, I get to take panties from the loads I help transfer from the washer to the dryer.

Girl:  That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

Rob:  You’re ridiculous, where are you from, Europe?  Listen bitch, this is America, and in America we have the panties tax.

Girl:  That is the most absurd thing….Oh my God.  I’ve heard about you.  I know you who you are.  A bunch of my roommates said that their underwear was missing last week.  It was you and your ridiculous “panties tax”.  That is so creepy.

Rob:  But… the panties tax…

Girl:  Christ on a pogo stick, can you just forget the panties tax.  Wait… why am I even calling it that?  It’s not real… and stop saying panties.  That is the most awkward word.  That and the word “moist”.

Rob:  What if I said…

Girl:  Don’t you say it…

Rob: .... "moist panties".

Girl:  Blaaaaaargh

Rob:  Holy shit!  You just threw up all over your panties…  I mean… underwear stuff.  I guess you’ll have to wash them again.

Girl:  Yep.  I suppose so.

Rob:  Need any help?  It’s tax free.

Girl:  I should have joined the Army.

1) The CENTER GORE is in the center of the bra, between the cups.  You want this to be flat against your skin.  If there's a gap between the bra and yourself, the cup is too small or too shallow.  The depth of the cup determines the space you have to project forward.  You can try the next cup size and compare the two  (that's the letter part of the size, by the way).

2)  The TOP OF THE CUP is next.  It should be smooth between the bra and your bust, with no gaping.  You also don't want a line pressing on your breasts, creating the ever popular "4 boob" effect.  That's certainly a no-no.  Again, change the cup size accordingly - smaller if there's gaping and bigger if you're coming out of it.

3)  Now the UNDERWIRE is in the spotlight.  The bottom of the cup where the wire lays, should be resting right against your skin.  The 'Cradling' done earlier would really be tested now.  Raise your armabove your head.  This is done to see if the underwire is still touching your skin.  If there's space there, you may need smaller band size (the number part of the size). 

4)  We're now moving to the WIRE UNDER THE ARMS.  The fitting for this area is determined by the band size.  Make sure that the wire is wide enough to hold all your breast tissue.  If the band size is too small, you'll find that you spill out of the side.  At this point, you need to increase the band size, but decrease the cup size.  For example, 36C would become 38B.  What this does is make the band longer and the wires open further back.  The cup size now needs to go down to make it proportional.

5)  The last step is to look at the BACK of the bra.  The height of the front and back must be the same.  If the back of the bra is hiking up, the shoulder straps may be too tight.  In the event that this doesn't work, your band size is too big. 

That's it!  These are the basics to finding the Perfect Bra!  I know it's just the minimal criteria, but these guidelines will make a world of difference for you!  For a better understanding of bra fittings, keep an eye out for 'Playing with Sizes', my next article.

Jag har varit där och gjort ett reportage och det kommer inte att tryckas i tidningen förrän i slutet av Augusti och jag kan inte skriva vad reportaget är innan dess. Men när det är Augusti ska ni få läsa artikeln och veta vad jag har gjort. Allt jag kan säga är att det har gjort fruktansvärt ont.

En bättre bild av våldsutvecklingen får man rimligen om man samlar uppgifter från sjukhusen, polisen, men då kanske det träffar för rätt. Om baltiska ligor eller andra grupperingar, om invandringen, psykvården har stora problem i antalet våld så kan man rikta åtgärder mot detta och inte som nu försöka vara "demokratiska" i absurdum när man försöker bekämpa brott.
Är inte emot vård av brottslinga men jag är heller inte emot straff. Någonstans måste det finnas en gräns även för ett demokratiskt samhälle. Mycket möjligt att inte straff minskar störda människors benägenhet att begå brott, men i alla fall kan det ge viss upprättning för offer/anhöriga och det ökar väl inte brottens omfattning heller.
