For some background information, the Christian Bible teaches that the Antichrist will come from WITHIN the church, like Judas Iscariot was from WITHIN the disciples.

Is should be no surprise to you then, that THE ANTICHRIST IS IN THE CHURCH:

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.  

We need to be sure that we never ever put any famous preacher above the word of God! It does not matter how “anointed” that person is, or how many people support him. It does not matter if everyone falls down if he flicks his hand or waves his hand. This is the very thing we are warned about in Scripture:-

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  

IF any such preacher does not use the King James Bible alone, or if any such preacher does not expose the Antichrist – then you have just put that preacher ABOVE the word of God!

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  

The antichrist we know is the Roman Catholic Church. IF the preacher does not expose the Roman Catholic Church as a false church, then the preacher himself is antichrist!

Beware that you do not accept a preacher just because of miracles. Some people will accept a preacher even if he fails these TWO TESTS:-

1.       Beware of churches which do not state clearly to members that they should only use the King James Bible

2.       Beware of churches which say that Roman Catholics are Christians, or do not warn about Roman Catholics at all. What Roman Catholics believe is enough to lose their souls.

Is it ok with you, as long as he does miracles? Read this Scripture:-

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.  

These are the last days and the Bible warns that MANY WILL BE DECEIVED:-

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (Anointed); and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

MANY WILL COME! Who are the many? They must be somewhere, and many of them too! They are there! Just count the number of “anointed” MAN OF GOD (“I am Christ”) who fail the TWO TESTS!

WILL YOU BE DECEIVED? This is without a doubt the most important message of all. The Bible warns us to beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing:-

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

These Scriptures and the others below explain that the deception will come FROM THOSE WITHIN THE CHURCH! So many people are deceived by so-called “Christian TV”.

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  

Remember the TWO TESTS!

1.       Beware of churches which do not state clearly to members that they should only use the King James Bible

2.       Beware of churches which say that Roman Catholics are Christians, or do not warn about Roman Catholics at all. What Roman Catholics believe is enough to lose their souls.

More Scriptures prove that this will come from within:-

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  

We are warned that this is the worst deception of all:-

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  

We are earnestly warned by Jude:-

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.  

Believers are aware of these things by the Holy Spirit. If you are truly walking with God, you will already be aware of this. We must suffer for Christ! Let us not forget this part of Christ’s teachings:-

Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

I will be going through what I consider to be the church and showing you that the Antichrist is indeed there! All of the following people have played a role in where the Church is today. But WHERE do these individuals stand with the TWO TESTS?

Has indeed the Antichrist entered the church?

Or to put it plainly, Is the Church being led by a hoard of Antichrists?

How are we to respond?

If the majority of the list are Antichrists, then what are people claiming to experience? is it a touch of God? Could it be rather, dare I say... the UNHOLY TRINITY?

Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.    

Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Most noticeable in the following study are MIRACLES. Below is a summary of the Miracle movement called the Pentecostal and Charismatic movement of today. It commands possibly One Billion people on this earth. So take note!

And once again, we will look at where each of these personalities stands on the two tests:

En voilà une devise qu'elle est bien pour un film qui, ma foie, est pas mal non plus. Las Vegas 21 :

Bon rien que l'affiche me fait penser à Ocean's Thirteen mais ça n'a rien à voir. Non, ici pas question de vol, d'arnaque et de braquage de casino. Ah si en fait... C'est totalement ça! La seule différence c'est que leur technique à cette bande de jeunes cons (oui car ce sont des jeunes cons) est totalement légale, ils comptent les cartes au black jack.

Bon d'accord dit comme ça le film à l'air ennuyeux, compter les cartes, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... c'est pas génial comme scénario; mais rassure toi jeune lecteur (ou lectrice) même si toute l'histoire est basé sur le fait qu'ils trichent de cette manière, tu n'a beau rien comprendre comenkilfon (comme moi, c'est dire si c'est compliqué) et bien ce n'est pas grave du tout!! On s'en fout!!

Bon j'ai bien compris une chose: ils associent un mot à un nombre. Et ça je le dois à mon ancien prof de français qui en fin d'année nous avait appris la même technique de mémorisation. (ah on me signale que ça aussi on s'en fout. Ok.)

Revenons-en au film. Alors en gros l'histoire c'est quoi? Et bien c'est l'histoire d'un mec, Ben, qui a comment dire pas de sousous en poche et qui prétend aller au MIT (muahahah petit foufou) et qui doit donc se faire accorder une bourse de 300 000$ (que ça) pour payer ses études. Malheureusement le monsieur il a pas trop envie de lui donner d'argent. Quel en****. Pour lâcher le fric lui ce qu'il veux c'est une expérience de vie: "vas y fait moi rêver! Raconte moi ta life! Fait moi monter au septième ciel!" Et plop l'histoire commence ici sous forme de flash back...

N'ayant pas envie de raconter toute l'historie pour ne pas vous gâcher le plaisir (et par ce que j'ai la flemme) je vais m'arrêter là et finir cet article par de zolie photos :

This doesn't sound like much, but the explanation is that the days of the Olympic Games, 8-24 August, will be the busiest period of my life for several years. I will move into a new home and start a new job. If I manage to spin anything at all, let alone 4 oz, it will be a pretty good indication of how important this new hobby is to me. If I do manage to meet my challenge, I will consider (gulp!) getting a wheel. Wish me luck. If you do decide to make yourself an Olympic spinning challenge, I'd love to hear from you!

Speaking of spinning, I have a couple of new WIPs:

I started this a little while ago, but haven't posted a picture before. This is Fyberspates silk hankies in plum and gold, on my Bosworth mini (17 g) in zebrawood. Silk hankies are fully drafted before you spin, and require a great deal of pulling and tugging, much more than I'm used to from wool. The colours in this fibre are absolutely glorious.

This is some carded wool bought at a hobby store when I first started experimenting with spinning. It was natural-coloured, so I dyed with some bags of Kool-Aid grape. I divided the fibre, all 250 grams, into several pieces of different sizes, wet them and put them into different microwave bags. I mixed up different amounts of the Kool-Aid, poured into the different bags, closed them and steamed the packages for 40 minutes. I'm very excited to see what the finished yarn looks like. I'm spinning it on my Bosworth midi in maple using what I think is long draw. Since this is a carded fibre, and the dyeing process compacted the fibre a little, I thought that woollen spinning would suit it nicely.

Two Bosworth midis, the top in maple (25 g/.81 oz) and the bottom in bocote (39 g/1.34 oz) and 500 g of BFL Humbug - a striated blend of three natural colours. I love them! I ordered from P&M Woolcraft, which I can heartily recommend (the delay in receiving spindles was not due to them, but to an earlier order with another firm, which fell through due to a backorder).

I started trying out my new spindles immediately, and I got to thinking about something. If a viking-era woman were to enter my home, chances are she would be completely mystified by it. Nothing we have would be recognisable to her (we don't even have a fireplace) - except this little tool, with its tail of unspun, fluffy fibre. For some reason I like the feeling of having something, even so little as this, in common with my foremother. Spinning is a fairly obvious source of symbolism, and the Norse mythology is no exception. I was very fascinated with Norse mythology when I was younger, so you'll have to excuse a little lecture:

In Norse mythology, the ash tree Yggdrasil is considered the centre of the earth, and its branches encircle the heavens. Its three roots run from three different well springs - one from Mime's well, one from the Norse hell Helheim and one from the dwelling of the Norns (Urd's well). The Norns are Urd, Verdande and Skuld (the past, the present and the future). They spin the life thread of every newborn baby as well as the gods (who are not considered immortal in Norse mythology). Skuld spins the thread (birth), Verdande plies it (life) and Urd cuts it (death). Considering that the Norse myths were mainly told by and for men, it is interesting to consider the power which was attributed to the Norns and their spinning. Were women and their activities considered mysterious and incomprehensible by the men at the time?

the words 'based on a true story' do not resonate well with me; not because i hate true stories, mind you, but because directors and screenwriters tend to hyperbole the situation, i usually hate the term. 21 does a great job of allowing me to bypass the 'based on a true story' statement with ease.

the movie is the story of ben campbell, an M.I.T. student who is looking to attend harvard medical school. he is brilliant and extremely in tune with mathematics. this leads to him being invited into a 'club' led by his teacher, mickey rosa. now rosa is played by kevin spacey (superman returns, beyond the sea) and is the leader of the club, also leading dominantly over the cast as the most experienced actor in the bunch. the plot is simple: these genius students are counting cards and taking vegas by storm. ben gets caught up in the motions and is quickly lost to the city of sin, trying to earn enough to pay his way into harvard med. laurence fishburn jumps in as the dying breed of security guard, and does so nicely with his grit and grime attitude that represents the old underground style of vegas.

the movie is considerably well done, and after seeing the previous attempts of the director and writers, it's really a bit of a surprise. robert luketics formers include legally blonde and monster-in-law while alan loeb and peter steinfeld (the writers) wrote things we lost in the fire and be cool, respectively. WOW! this is a 180 in everyones case. the movie is a well-written, awesomely directed drama-comedy-thriller. now honestly, i didn't find any of their past movies very funny or even really good, but i thoroughly enjoyed this one.

the premise is fun and enjoyable and the fact that the set switches between vegas and boston creates a wonderful mixture of a basic setting and an over-the-top setting. the lives led in boston are contrast by the lives in vegas and the kids live a wonderful bright lifestyle where their acting really shines. aaron yoo (disturbia) is perfect as the comedic relief and josh gad plays as a seth rogen wannabe but does a good enough job to not be a carbon clone. the real chemistry is with jim sturgess (across the universe) and kate bosworth (also superman returns, beyond the sea), as both do an excellent job of not only handling their character but creating a real-looking relationship on the screen.

the ending is a bit predictable but it has a nice twist on it. it's also a tad bit too fairy tale but it works out and rounds the flick out as an all together feel-good movie. from the slew of shit that has been on the silver screen lately...this is the best thing thus far.

the movie is fun and entertaining, well written and well acted. spacey is an awesome villain and sturgess is setting himself up for many leading man roles in the future. it has everything a movie of this caliber should have: comedy, action, sex appeal, and wit. i would easily watch it again and enjoy it.

bottom line: it's good, especially considering how much the other shitty movies are in theaters, it's the best of the bunch. it's half a blast and very easy to sit through. time flew, which is a good thing, and all of the acting and plot are well done.

what it's comparable to: a trip to vegas, daydreaming what your college experience should be, the cooler.

According to Teach Yourself Visually Handspinning, yarn spun woolen needs to be fulled. So I soaked it in hot water with some wool wash and smushed it around with a large spoon. The book suggests using a plunger, but I don't have one that hasn't been used in a toilet.. the spoon worked fine, I think. Then I rinsed it in cold water and repeated the hot-cold cycle, toweled out the excess water, and thwacked the yarn on the counter several times, which was very satisfying! All of this supposedly evens out the twist and allows the crossed fibers to bloom, which results in a softer, airier yarn.

It really is delightfully soft. I wish I could capture that in photos. Tomorrow I'll swatch it and figure out what to do with it. I have ideas, but again need to keep it secret because it will be involved with my holiday knitting. All of my super secret knitting will be on Ravelry, since none of my recipients are there.  If you're not on there yet, sorry!  I'll reveal everything after gifts are given.  :)

This is my first experience with llama, and my first time spinning woolen, which is to say that the fibers did not come nicely combed and aligned like the "top" roving I've been spinning so far, so I allowed crossed fibers to become incorporated into the yarn. I plan to make a 2-ply, and it should become a lighter, airier yarn after finishing. I think it will work out nicely, since the llama down is so fluffy and soft.

Next is some really lovely and soft merino/angora (80/20) from Delly's Delights Farm, an 8oz batt.

Lastly, some llama down from Lars of West Mountain Farm. He rubbed it on Edith's (our au pair) cheek and said it's a great way to meet girls, then called himself a dirty old man. What a character!
