President Bush did one thing I can admire today - he signed a bill officially renaming part of Route 20A near Ralph Wilson Stadium near Buffalo, N.Y. "Timothy J. Russert Highway." Tim Russert was one of the most highly respected journalists in the world and host of "Meet The Press," who died suddenly in Washington, D.C. of a heart attack on June 13. He was 58.

Russert, who was the NBC Washington bureau chief, had just returned from a trip to Italy with his son and wife, in celebration of his son's college graduation.

Russert was a Buffalo native and a big fan of the Buffalo Bills football team. He would often end his "Meet The Press" broadcasts by saying, "Go Bills!"

It all started when Brock's ego got the better of him. Brock is the tyrant on Smackdown and he ruled the Smackdown brand with the help of Vince Mcmahon. Bill Goldberg was just doing as good as Brock in terms of his brand name but on Raw. Brock was jealous and irate, but that didn't came until Bill Goldberg mocked at Brock after his match with Kurt at Royal Rumble 2004. He decided to screw Bill Golberg and he did it on an attempt Bill Goldberg was in the ring with 29 other competitors in a Royal Rumble Royal Battle Match. Brock F5ed Bill Goldberg and Bill Goldberg was taken advantage of and was elimnated by another opponent who saw the chance. Bill Goldberg was out of the Rumble, but that didn't end in this hasty story buildup. Following No Way Out, about a month after Royal Rumble, Bill Goldberg revenged immediately by causing Brock Lesnar of his match with Eddie Guerrero, causing Brock the championship title. Brock was devastated with the loss of his championship belt, he begged Vince for an Interpromotional Match with Bill Goldberg on Wrestlemania. That was indeed the first time we saw Brock on his knees, in his tears, begging... but the match came true!

Stone Cold was invited as the special guest referee for the Wrestlemania match that took place between Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg. From some independant sources, Brock was scheduled to win the match with Bill Goldberg's departure at WWE after the expiration of his 1 year contract at WWE which obviously he had no intention to extend, but the outcome was very much against Brock as rumours surrounded the fact that Brock was leaving just as well for his pursuit of a dream career; to become a NFL football player!

General Motors is currently in serious arrangements with around 30 electric power utilities in 37 states and with the Electric Power Research Institute to develop a charging infrastructure for electric cars and plug-in hybrids.

By creating this alliance and decide how the infrastructure is going to be, these will ensure a technology that is implemented homogeneously across the market, becoming more secure, and more reliable to customers because charging ports and charging regimes for the technology would be implemented the same way.

General Motors is aiming for these car-charging stations to be implemented by the year 2010, when their new brain child the Chevy Volt is due to be produced and be on sale for hundreds of early adopters of the car offering.

The goals of developing these sorts of standards are to make it an affordable, reliable electricity source that is weather proof and child-proof and simple enough to be implemented in public garages, curb sides meters and workplace parking lots.

Another very important intentions of the alliance it to make the charging stations controllable in a certain way by utilities to prevent overloading the electric grid capacity during peak hours and challenge the reliability of electricity service.

It would much ideal for power utilities for these new electric loads on the grids for them to demand power during the off-peak hours when the demand is low and in some areas during the off-peak hours also the electricity is cheaper to the consumers.

The problem is that creating this sort of infrastructure takes time and new investment for a technology that is not even wide seen as a real alternative to transportation. Currently there are few options on the area of electric cars and plug-in hybrid, but as the prices on oil and cost of using hour gas car and trucks becomes an expenditure that eats much of our incomes, people would change their perceptions of new technologies that can make them save how they transport.

As for me, I am one of the hundreds of people that are very eager for a mass adaptation in the transportation industry for electric cars, because these give and edge for the transportation technologies and also allow for a big window of opportunity to free the dependence on pollution expensive oil. Electricity most come from clean renewable sources for this vision to work, but that complementations are very feasible and most be put into the hands and reach of all RIGHT NOW.

Meems, as always, is the consummate hostess. And she's really, really funny. She made us perform a family talent show. We did it. It was extremely amusing.

Bob was having a serious case of golf lust. Maybe next time he can play 18 holes. His talent show performance of "William Shatner recites the lyrics to Elton John's Rocket Man" had me in stitches.

And happy children. The girls are inseparable. They're also the proud owners of sweatshirts from the $12.99 store that say "SIS TERS" under an inexplicable seagull design. The town of Sisters... seagulls... wtf?

William Nye, better known as television's "Bill Nye the Science Guy," is an American comedian, television host, science educator and mechanical engineer. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University. He has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Goucher College, and The Johns Hopkins University.

Nye began his career working as an engineer by day, and stand-up comic by night. This eventually transitioned into an exclusive entertainment career.

He started producing "Bill Nye the Science Guy" for the Public Broadcasting System in 1993. Two years earlier, however, Nye played the role of Emmett "Doc" Brown's assistant in the live-action segments of "Back to the Future: The Animated Series".

As of July 2007, Nye and environmental activist Ed Begley, Jr. are engaging in a friendly competition to see who could have the lowest carbon footprint. In a 2008 interview, Nye joked that he wants to "crush Ed Begley" in their environmental competition.

Nye has guest starred in several episodes of the crime drama Numb3rs as an engineering faculty member, has been a regular in TV Land discussions, and has made guest appearances on the VH1 reality show "America's Most Smartest Model". Nye also appears in segments of "The Climate Code" on The Weather Channel.

Ou seja, tudo o que for produzido lá e todos os seus fornecedores terão que ser sustentáveis e não agredir o meio ambiente. Fácil não? Vamos dizer que o produto que ela oferece é o leite Billmilk. Vamos levar em conta que por ela ser TOTALMENTE sustentável, ela tem uma menor produtividade do que a concorrência. Logo o preço do seu produto tem um preço maior, correto? Entretanto, ela tem um diferencial que pode ser facilmente usado pelo seu departamento marketing dela, o leite, além de ser orgânico, não destrói o meio ambiente. Bom não? Com a onda (que na verdade é uma necessidade) do marketing verde, esse diferencial irá chamar a atenção dos consumidores. Até aqui nada de mais, uma empresa que se preocupa com o meio ambiente e descobre um novo nicho para explorar. O fato é que, se o dono dela é alguém como o Bill Gates, ela pode ter algo a mais.

Refletindo, a problemática dos produtos orgânicos é simples, o preço. Só se paga por algo sustentável e orgânico, a pessoa que tem recursos financeiros disponíveis. Então o que fazer para estes produtos se tornarem mais populares?

A resposta é: Dumping Sustentável. Ou seja, baixar o preço do leite aos patamares dos leites Paulista, Parmalat e etc. Desta forma, poder-se-ia concorrer de igual para igual com estas empresas, deixando ao consumidor a escolha final. De um lado, uma empresa que prejudica o meio ambiente em Zero % e do outro os processos industriais conhecidos.

Porém, eis que surge um problema. Se esta empresa, totalmente sustentável, baixar seus preços para concorrer de igual para igual com outras grandes companhias consolidadas, ela terá um prejuízo enorme, pois estará, provavelmente, vendendo o seu produto abaixo do preço de custo. Por fim tal prática a levará à falência.

É nesse ponto que está a sacada e por isso que não se concretizou algo assim até hoje. Pensando que o dono dessa empresa Ltda é o (altruísta) Bill Gates, ele, por pensar em um futuro melhor e não se importar com alguns anos de prejuízo da sua nova empresa, decide investir todo ano, por um período de dez anos, um bilhão de dólares para cobrir o saldo negativo e aprimorar a sua tecnologia.

Com isso em mente, podemos voltar para o que isso acarretará na concorrência de leite. A empresa de Bill competirá de igual para igual com as outras grandes marcas, o seu setor de marketing investirá em demonstrar como o leite produzido não destrói o meio ambiente. O que a concorrência não poderá lutar contra. Assim, o leite sustentável começará a ganhar mais e mais participação de mercado. Com os preços acessíveis, as classes A,B,C,D e E poderão consumir o mesmo leite. O preço já não será um problema para se fazer o bem ao planeta. A Europa inteira só consumirá o Billmilk. Mas e o que acontece com as outras grandes corporações? Elas precisarão se adequar, trocar a tecnologia, vender e agir em prol do ambiente, reconquistar a confiança do seu consumidor. Desta forma, ser TOTALMENTE sustentável, já não será mais um diferencial, mas uma necessidade da qual o seu consumidor não aceitará o contrário.

Por fim, temos que finalizar nossa questão do Dumping Sustentável, isto é, após esse primeiro momento de acabar com a concorrência e estabelecer um novo patamar de qualidade, a Billmilk não precisará subir o preço do seu produto a um patamar tão alto como seria no começo, pois ela já terá uma fatia maior do mercado, e assim poderá reduzir a sua taxa de lucro em detrimento da quantidade de consumidores.

Sei que isso ainda pode não resolver o problema de prejuízo da corporação, só que nesse segundo momento da minha experiência será necessário evocar um momento mais desenvolvido da noção de coletivo.

Nesse momento, será necessária uma nova concepção de capitalismo. Um capitalismo mais coletivo. As companhias precisarão redistribuir a riqueza, de uma forma governamental, ou seja, o Billmilk, que é vendido no supermercado de classe A, terá um preço 3x se comparado com o Milkbi (o mesmo leite Billmilk, com um apelo mais popular de marketing), que será vendido no supermercado de classe C e D.

Em suma, esse é somente um exercício de como as próprias práticas capitalistas, mercadológicas, podem ser usadas para uma melhoria. Não pretendo resolver todos os problemas do capitalismo, tanto que nem entrei no mérito do grau de consumismo predatório, só penso em como poder-se-ia mudar o mundo com as ferramentas vigentes e um pouco de utopia altruísta de um Bilionário.

Always volunteering to help, notices any funny business, and has a wife that quilts like me.  She doesn't knit though.  Well, you can't have everything....but she is a darned good cook too and sometimes she brings Chris over some of her potato salad, which makes him happy.  Me too, since I don't make potato salad.  I maintain a strict policy of not making things that I don't like.

Bill Hicks (December 16, 1961 -- February 26, 1994)

Bill was the pre-eminent offensive defenceman of his era. Bill won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy in 1949. Bill was the first defenceman to win this award, and played the entire 1948–49 season (and a total of 138 consecutive games across 3 seasons) without recording a penalty. Bill Quackenbush was a 3 time 1st team and 2 time 2nd team All Star. Bill was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1976.

After his NHL career, he coached college hockey at Princeton University, leading the Princeton Men's team to one of the their best seasons in 1967–68, a 13–10–1 campaign that included winning the ECAC Christmas tournament championship. Bill later led the Princeton Women's Ice Hockey team to three consecutive Ivy League championships in 1982–84.

Defenseman Hubert "Bill" Quackenbush excelled at both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. During 14 seasons, he was among the NHL's elite rushing blueliners. More significantly, he was a superior defender in his own end who relied on positioning and discipline rather than physical intimidation for his success. Consequently, his penalty minute totals were remarkably low considering his role on the ice.

Bill Quackenbush began gaining local attention with the OHA's Toronto Native Sons in 1940-41 when he registered 13 points in as many games. Detroit Red Wings scout Carson Cooper noticed him the following year while he was playing with the Brantford Juniors under coach Tommy Ivan, who himself later became head coach of the Red Wings.

The young rearguard wasn't looking out of place during a ten-game call-up with Detroit in 1942-43 until he broke his wrist. After recovering from his injury, the parent club decided it was preferable that he spend the remainder of his first pro year with the Indianapolis Capitals of the AHL. He joined the Red Wings' defense corps permanently the following season.

By the late 1940s, he'd evolved into one of hockey's top blueliners. 3 times Bill Quackenbush was placed on the NHL's First All-Star Team and twice he was selected to the 2nd Team.

At the conclusion of the 1948-49 season, he became the first defenseman to win the Lady Byng Trophy. It was at this time that Bill Quackenbush was in the midst of one of the NHL's more astounding individual achievements. Bill managed to go 131 consecutive games without drawing a penalty. The streak began with the final 5 regular-season games and 10 playoff games in 1947-48, 60 regular-season and 11 post-season matches the next year and the first 45 games in 1949-50. During this penalty-free period, Bill Quackenbush's regular defense partner was the equally mild-mannered Red Kelly, who later became the second rearguard to win the Lady Byng.

Amazingly, he incurred only one major penalty in his entire career, and that was a dubious call based on a quick wrestling match he had with Gaye Stewart. To many observers, he was the prototype of efficiency and finesse in defensive zone coverage. Bill Quackenbush was also considered a master at diffusing any forward's attempt to generate offense from behind his opponent's net.

A month before training camp in 1949, Bill Quackenbush and Pete Horeck were traded to the Bruins for several players, including future Stanley Cup hero Pete Babando. Bill's rushes with the puck helped endear him to the Beantown supporters who hadn't seen this type of daring play from the blue line since the days of Eddie Shore.

In 1950-51, the elder Bill Quackenbush had the opportunity to play with his younger brother Max, a lanky defenseman who was 3 inches taller. Later that season, the Bruins' blue line brigade was decimated by injury, leaving Bill Quackenbush as the only experienced player. Bill was forced to play 55 minutes in one contest, a test of his stamina and experience. Bill retired in 1956 and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1976.

If he's all about change, why does his foreign policy team include such names as Madeleine Albright, Susan Rice, Anthony Lake and Warren Christopher, all of whom were stalwart members of President Bill Clinton's administration?  Some of President Clinton's more embarrassing policy gaffs, centered around foreign policy (for example, his mishandling of the Bosnian war and the outrage sparked by his military "don't ask, don't tell" policy), were during the tenures of these people.  Let's especially not forget Anthony Lake, who is, unfortunately for him, remembered for his failure to act in 1994 when Rwanda was engulfed in genocidal violence.  What with a similar situation already ensuing in the Darfur region of Sudan, I'm not sure Lake is someone I would feel comfortable working for me.   Apparently Senator Obama believes that these are the types of people he needs to bring effective "change" to Washington, as he has promised his supporters so many times.  The senator vehemently distances himself from the controversies of our nation's capital and yet his staff is swarming with the very people he blames for Washington's corruption.  He also claims that he is able to bring fresh attitude and thinking to the White House, and yet key staff members, such as Warren Christopher, have been working in the corrupted game that is politics since the Johnson administration.

Not surprisingly, though, Obama has constructed a foreign policy staff like every other Democratic president or presidential candidate, full of pacifists who naively believe in soft power: negotiations and economic sanctions.  Soft power doesn't make sense when you have people like Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announcing that he will obliterate Israel if they so much as flinch.  If one looks at how current attempts at soft power are working, it's not comforting to know that Obama has nothing better to offer, nor is able to see the ineffectiveness.  Member nations of the United Nations are already inflicting economic sanctions against Iran.  Unfortunately President Ahmadinejad is willing to let his people starve and suffer while he drains the country's precious few resources in order to advance his nuclear proliferation agenda.  The economic sanctions may be hurting the Iranian people, but not the people at whom the sanctions are targeted: the Iranian government.  As for the negotiations between the western world and Iran, they are having no effect on the Iranian president and his regime of theocratic thugs.  His government consistently goes behind the backs of the western world and breaks the few promises ever forged.  What makes Obama's foreign policy team think that they will be able to talk tyrants such as Ahmadinejad into submission?  He, for one, loves the "soft diplomacy" because he can afford to brazenly disobey what the international community asks of him, which makes him look powerful to the rest of the Middle East and makes the West look ineffective and powerless.  Why?  Because he knows the brains behind the soft diplomacy are, for the most part, liberals who wince at the thought of anything more violent than useless negotiations held over tea.  Nevertheless, Obama has surrounded himself with foreign policy advisers who are convinced that soft power will work (in spite of evidence from recent attempts at soft power suggesting otherwise) against tyrants such as Chavez and Ahmadinejad.  As Senator Obama prepares for his upcoming trip to the Middle East, let us hope, for his sake, that he realizes some of his naiveté.

SACRAMENTO, CA – Controversial spay/neuter legislation is expected to advance to a vote of the California State Senate shortly after it reconvenes August 4, a spokesman for its sponsor, Rep. Lloyd Levine, told the American Sporting Dog Alliance Tuesday. The Senate adjourned Monday for summer recess without acting on AB 1634.

The legislation would turn everyone into a dog and cat law vigilante, while denying dog owners the right to prove their innocence in a court of law or to an appeal. This bill provides for civil penalties based solely on an accusation by an animal control officer following a complaint from any person, or simply based on the officer’s opinion, and a third offense mandates spaying or neutering a dog or cat that is accused of being in violation of any animal law.

We are urging all California dog owners to personally contact their senator before the Legislature reconvenes August 4. Most senators will be spending much of the summer working out of their district offices, which makes personal contacts much easier for constituents. In addition to personal contacts, we are urging dog owners to send letters opposing AB 1634 to their senator by USPS surface mail. Links to contact information are provided below.

Now is the time to act and also to encourage your friends who own dogs to get involved. It is “do or die” time for California dog owners.

AB 1634 remains in the Senate Appropriations Committee, but Levine Aide Zak Meyer-Krings said that Chairman Tom Torlakson decided to forgo a committee hearing because he doesn’t think there will be a significant cost to the state budget. Hearing are required only if there is a fiscal impact to the state.

The American Sporting Dog Alliance believes there will be a significant cost to the state budget, and also to counties and municipalities in the form of a de facto unfunded mandate. Animal control agencies already are inadequately funded and understaffed, and the expected sharp increase in complaints will require hiring additional officers and support staff. Additionally, spay/neuter mandates have been proven to cause an increase in pet abandonment and higher animal shelter populations.

Waiving the requirement for a committee hearing means that AB 1634 will be sent to the full Senate for a vote shortly after it reconvenes Aug. 4, Meyer-Krings said.

The deadline for passage is midnight Aug. 31, which is when the 2007-2008 legislative session officially ends. All legislation must either be approved by that deadline, or start from scratch in January.

However, Aug. 31 falls on a Sunday, and it is expected that the Legislature will try to end the session on Friday, Aug. 29, although weekend sessions remain a possibility. To be approved this year, the Senate must act in time for the House to concur with amendments prior to the deadline.

AB 1634 was amended Monday to address concerns of animal control agencies about required rabies law reporting of animal shelter statistics, but there were no amendments to address the concerns of dog owners. The amendment strikes out a provision that would have withheld state funds from animal control programs that fail to report shelter statistics to the state.

Meyer-Krings said there might be a few other “tweaks” to the legislation to reflect the concerns of animal control agencies, but he said Levine is not inclined to compromise on the issues that could result in the forced sterilization of thousands of dogs in California. Levine is a strong supporter of universal pet sterilization.

The legislation empowers animal control officers to cite a dog owner for an alleged violation of any law or ordinance related to animals. A similar provision also applies to cats.

A dog owner would not have any way to fight the citation, and an animal control officer essentially would become judge, jury and hangman. Moreover, there would be no appeal. A citation based on the opinion of the animal control officer would carry the weight of a guilty verdict.

Civil penalties would be mandatory for any citation. They are:

· A $50 fine for the first offense.

· A $100 fine for the second offense.

· And Mandatory spaying or neutering for the third offense.

If the owner does not comply, an animal can be confiscated by animal control officers.

The American Sporting Dog Alliance believes that this law will be used by extreme animal rights groups to force the sterilization of thousands of purebred dogs, based on unsubstantiated allegations. We also believe it will be used as a weapon in squabbles between neighbors.

A tactic of some animal liberation groups is to steal dogs from private kennels and turn them loose, often removing collars and license tags, and thus creating an apparent violation of leash and licensing laws. This tactic has focused most intensely on breeds of dogs used for hunting, as these groups oppose both the private ownership of dogs and hunting. Hobby breeders also will be a major target of complaints.

This legislation opens the door to harassment of dog owners if animal rights activists observe anything that they don’t like, such as a dog that is housed in an outdoor kennel.

This issue is intensified because Humane Society officers who investigate animal cruelty allegations also are empowered to enforce this legislation if it becomes law. Many of these enforcement officers work for private agencies that have a strong bias toward the animal rights agenda.

This legislation is a wholesale desecration of every American’s constitutional right of due process under the law. Accusations do not have to be proven. There is no opportunity to defend oneself. There is no appeal. This legislation imposes the legal system of a totalitarian state on every Californian. This legislation is far more oppressive than the legal systems in Communist China or Iran. An accused person would receive more justice from the Taliban than the State of California, if AB 1634 passes into law.

Before contacting senators, it is important to become familiar with the legislation. Many senators have not read the bill for themselves, and are relying upon biased and inaccurate summaries from party leadership. Prepare a short summary of your objections prior to phoning or visiting a senator’s office.

The major issue is to ask for the removal of all sections that allow complaints and citations to lead to civil penalties, without giving the accused person the chance to face a court of law or to appeal. These provisions are a complete perversion of the American system of justice.

I hope you are having a good summer and all is well with your family.  If it is alright with you I would like to dialog with you on your demonstrated public support in the presidential election.  If you don't want to discuss it, just let me know.

I heard today that you became a supporter of Barack Obama. Although I am not a huge fan of McCain I have problems supporting  Obama.  For instance have you investigated how radical his support is for unrestricted abortion?  He even thinks that if a baby is born alive during a botched abortion attempt, the now living breathing infant, should be killed.

The Federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act was signed into law in 2002 after receiving unanimous support from the U.S. Senate. The measure that forces hospitals to give medical care to abortion survivors -- if warranted -- even received the backing of pro choice senators Ted Kennedy (D-Massachusetts ), Barbara Boxer (D-California), and Hillary Clinton (D-New York).

But, Barack Obama blocked the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act while he was a state senator.  He now says he did not support the Illinois measure because it "lacked the Federal language clarifying the act would not be used to undermine Roe vs. Wade."

Barack Obama is also now saying that, had that provision been in the Illinois bill he would have voted for it, which is absolutely false – because in 2003, the senate sponsor tried to add that provision and Barack Obama, as the chairman of the committee where the bill was being held, disallowed him from adding that provision and disallowed the committee from even voting on it. So, it sat in committee for 22 months. When Obama left the Illinois Senate the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act passed in August of 2005.

He is one of the most gifted speakers our nation has known in recent memory.  He has the support of main stream media. He has many very attractive qualities in our culture which is so dominated by video images and sound bites.  And I don't trust him.

We all need to dig beneath the campaign rhetoric of the major candidates and see what their records are to understand how they would lead.

You know, I was under the impression that the Democrats were elected to Congress to keep Bush in check. Of course, you can’t count on Democrats to do anything right. Before you all call me a conservative pig, I believe the same about the Republicans. I keep saying that both parties have a lot more in common than they’re willing to admit. What has the Democratic majority done to stop all this non-sense going on at the Capitol? Nothing at all.

It doesn’t matter if you vote for Barrack Obama or John McCain, nothing is going to change. They too are more alike than they’re willing to admit. Barrack had one thing going for him from my point of view; he was against the FISA Bill. Yet, when the day came for him to filibuster the bill or vote against it like he said he would, what did he do? He voted in favor of it. McCain has been for the bill all along, so of course he supported it, though he didn’t attend the session to cast his vote. Am I the only one that’s noticing how Obama seems to be changing opinions a lot lately, aligning them more with the opinions of McCain?

So here we are, living in what could possibly be one of the darkest days in American history. They passed the FISA Bill. The government is free to spy on who ever they choose, not just internationally, but DOMESTICALLY. They’re free to not only check on people who they think are a threat to national security, but they can spy on you. They might use the power to find out if you’re downloading songs illegally. Better think twice next time you open Kazaa or click on that torrent file. A joint FBI, CIA, NSA, and ATF taskforce might be waiting around the corner to bust your door down. That may be an exaggeration now, but the way things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens in the near future.

Warrants don’t have to be issued, there is no government oversight, and no one can be held liable. The bill is also retroactive, so all those cases that are in the system right now against phone companies and the government are going to be dismissed. What good can possibly come out of this bill?

The unconstitutionality of the laws being passed on the Hill amazes me. I don’t feel any safer than I did before 9/11. Everyone knows that we knew something was going to happen, but the lack of inter-agency collaboration as well as other factors prevented us from preventing the attacks. We don’t have to spy on our citizens to be safe.

What amazes me even more is the lack of concern by the people. There’s a quote that I throw around a lot and it’s become quite popular recently:“Those who give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -- Benjamin Franklin

Americans gave up their lives in 1776 to re-gain freedoms that the English were infringing upon. The Forefathers would balk at the idea of giving up privacy or any other right for safety. Yet, here we stand…I should say sit, allowing the government to strip away our liberties, and they’re doing so in the name safety. Look back through history and you’ll find that dictatorships are created when leaders take advantage of the fears of the people.

The constitution was created to prevent bills like FISA from being passed. It was created to protect the people and restrict government. Yet, government is growing faster than it ever has, and the rights of the people are slowly being chiseled away. We should be up in arms over what’s going on in Washington. It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it is, and it will only get worse unless we do something to stop it. My only hope is that the law will be overturned by the Supreme Court. If that doesn't happen…the light at the end of the tunnel may not come for a long time.

Aimer sur le coup c'est bien, aimer longtemps c'est mieux. Seul ou à deux, pour que l'amour perdure, on se doit de sacrifier des choses. C'est une mince pénitence si l'on tient compte de tout le bonheur que cela nous rapporte. Le travail rend heureux ceux qui savent en profiter de leur mieux.

It is frustrating to time and time again see those we voted for talk like they live in a different dimension than the rest of us.  Elections are coming up and they are clueless about what matters to the majority of us. They don't realize that we are their lively hood and that without us they have no one to take advantage of. I say we say enough and stand up for ourselves! We keep this country going with our day to day hard headedness, sense of pride and our love of family.  We are what makes this country.  If we banned together even for a few days or a week and not buy gas, not spend money at the movies, on videos and on music, at sports events, concerts, etc. 

Carpool, ride your bike, walk . The majority of us are already in for a long, long winter, already wondering how we are going to afford to heat our homes, let alone, buy food, medicine, and all the other necessities we need on a day to day basis.

Elections are coming up, they are spending millions to win. Do you actually think they know what it is like to decide which bill not to pay so you can put gas in your car.

Our parental rights have not been terminated, and there is no California jurisdiction over our child. We are seeking the immediate return of our son.

who are Montana-appointed guardians of our baby. They have no paperwork filed in the State of California and no legal adoption papers filed in the Napa Courthouse.

Prior to this, the baby had also been maliciously concealed by the perpetrators for approximately eight months, for which we also have proof.

We have evidence in writing and by eyewitnesses that this adoption had already been in process, and this fact was also confirmed by:

Amazingly, Napa County is not concerned about this crime whatsoever. After confirming the facts of the carrying-out of the adoption to Bill Jabin and Yountville law enforcement on Monday, June 9th, we have been ignored and even blamed for the crime.

Sergeant Berg of Yountville indicated that the criminal abduction and illegal conspiracy was our fault because we are bad people and that he was going to do nothing about it. Bill Jabin has ignored our concerned phone calls for four days.

Harry Martin has been informed, and Neil Bowman Davis, the Family Law Facilitator at the Self Help Center in the Napa Courthouse, was informed. Regarding concealment alone, the District Attorney should have picked up charges on this months ago, since Napa County authorities were aware of the crime months ago.

We know for a fact that if this crime was perpetrated by low-income people, the system would have completed a child welfare check the first day that such a report came in. But the conscientious Napa County authorities did nothing. This is due to the corruption and favoritism of the rich in Napa County.

There has been not so much as one simple child welfare check at the Feeney's house to verify Jeffrey Funes report that our child is there. In fact, there has not even been a single police report taken with a number assigned to it by Sergeant Berg or the Napa Police, who were also called on June 9, 2008. It is illegal not to take a police report and assign a number to it when a crime is reported.

We are going to expose this matter. We have many ways of doing this which include the use of the Internet. The information we have includes all correspondence made with authorities, non-confidential paperwork, and incriminating e-mail evidence.

Obviously, upon the report of an abduction, a police report should have been taken the first day, and a welfare check completed immediately. Upon finding the child where he reported to be living at this time, the parties should also have been arrested and required to show any and all paperwork they have concerning any legal tie to the child (which of course would be fraudulent).

We are, quite frankly, appalled by the irresponsible, uncouth behaviors and attitudes of the Napa authorities, their haughtiness and evident favoritism toward the wealthy, and the lawlessness that they are endorsing through their negligence. Apparently they have some type of strange agenda given the fact that if our facts were incorrect, Jabin should have already called and verified this.

There is no need for a lengthy investigation to resolve this.

We are requesting your assistance in bringing an end to the perpetuation of this serious crime since you have the power and influence as Mayor of Napa, Mayor of St. Helena and Mayor of Yountville and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, President George W. Bush to make this happen.
