In other news, my Summer Holidays have started at last! So that means 6 weeks holiday! Whooooooo!!!!!!!! I'll try not to post more than three times a day :D ! I might work on a few pages, add a few more and maybe make a new header!

Cada vez hay más gente que lo tiene como Hobby. Parece sencillo, pero después de ver el vídeo que hay mas abajo, intentad imitarlo sin ningún instrumento extra.

En este vídeo, el beatboxer hace una "receta" añadiendo cada vez más sonidos.

En mi opinión este es uno de los videos de Youtube que mas me gusta. Este video se te mete en la cabeza, y os aseguro que cuesta mucho quitarselo...

Arnopoit has had a rough time. YouTube users have noobed out and do not appreciate the eyeball exploding talent they see before them. The comments are less then complimentary, in fact you would have thought that this kid had single handedly rigged the Zimbabwe elections. Fair? We think not.

Mr Arnopoit may be a little naive backslash brave, for putting himself out there and in true Youtube style, accept such witty and cutting remarks such as " it sucked it couldnt be more horrible u dick sucker" and "u shouldnt even be rated for this peace of crap" (nice one 'tard!) from fellow 'toobers'. But no, Arnopoit will not be silenced. Check this out....

Ok, fine, he may not be quite up to Killa Kela, Boris FX and Rhazel's standard just yet, but they all had to start somewhere. Seriously this kid has vision, cutting skills, some incredible facial movements and high notes that would put Whacko to shame. A funny, kinda cute, encouraging video - plus if this doesn't do it for you, theres more, including a short film named The Devils Rival, written by, directed by and starring the man himself.

Still think he's sh*t? Well, just imagine what your 14 year old brother is up to right now. Making movies? I didn't think so and yeah that probably IS crack hes smoking.

As ever Pikey Esquire will be comparing with his musical mouth. With fun and frolics in the courtyard and the usual DJs (formally of BANG!) keeping the pink bar bouncing as always this is going to be fun.

UPDATE

Saturday was a busy night with a heavy quartet of live acts. Standout band Captive State premiered a new song and proved, er... captivating. Live they came across as something betweeen Arcade Fire and Hot Chip, with 7 musicians swapping instruments and trading really sweet harmonies onstage. Thanks to Francoise at 93FE for his prompt ladder scaling, to the ingenious Pikey Esquire for the vodka and beatboxing and to Simon and Neil at Productions London for throwing us all together.

OK, so fobby group name aside, I gotta admit I am fairly impressed with this group.  Although I have to admit I don't know a whole lot about them. The group consists of 3 guys born in the early 80's, Big Tone, PilKang, and LeeHan. They are a bit different from other KPOP/K-HipHop groups in that the major component to their music is the beatbox. Given I've only heard pre-recorded material that is typically heavily layered but nethertheless they do it with a lot of polish. I just wonder how good they would sound live, without the ability to layer their sounds.

At the very least their tracks showcase their arranging ability. They make very faithful reproductions of songs they cover. I've also heard one of their own original songs, Be My 1004, but wasn't as impressed. They used a synth loop and some other non beat box elements and lost some of their charm. It's still a decently catchy song though.

I hope to hear more from them in the future. They certainly have a good deal of potential and seem to make the right choices when balancing artistic and commercial directions. Plus there's no other korean group (that I know of) quite like them.

Complicata ecuatie: evreu ortodox din NY + reggae + beatbox. Vedeti si interviul din a doua jumatate. Cam prea cool. Mai putin tehnic decat Kenny Muhammad sau decat Rahzel (probabil inventatorii beatbox-ului in varianta moderna), si mai mult reggae. Si mai mult stil decat majoritatea beatboxer-ilor.

The two videos were posted by different people, one in 2006 and one in 2007. Nevertheless, it should be the same cool uncle doing the beatboxing. :)

Just a little note to keep everyone updated on the L-Mo happenings. At the moment I am in the amazing studio of MAtt here in YOrkshire putting down the new songs for my upcoming album

Its all coming along really well and the embelishments are going great. Just looking at finding a really sick bassist and drummer to complete a little trio to tour around the world.

Will let you know as soon as the album is done.
