Kippardy is a nic name for my dad given to him by my oldest sister.

It's almost 7:30 and everyone is sleeping. 

Happy 4th of July!

3 more days til Dad's bday, 5 days til Kat's and 7 days til Mr K's (one of the boys I care for). Think that's funny? My brother in law's bday is 10/8, his daughter's is 10/10 and Z's 10/18. Z being the youngest boy I care for.

Haven't forgotten that Ms Allie's bday is 7/26

2 wks til Lou Reed & Gavin Friday show aka Rogue's Gallery concert. So not even going to miss that show.

Cutest thing ever just happen, okay maybe not ever but so cute none the less: Z is in his walker practicing his backwards walking, K is in his couch chair watching his morning show and I am sitting at the table using the computer, of course music is playing. Anyways Daniel Barrett's Shadows started playing.The drum intro made Z jump up a about mile in the air then he quickly did his MJ Moonwalk back on top of his brother. *laughs* No one was injured.

If you dint wish me, dont feel bad, there are a lot of stores that sell 'belated birthday gifts'. For all those who wished me yesterday, thanks a lot guys you made my day. Yesterday was one of my most special birthdays, a lot of people wished me this time unlike the previous years. The day started as usual with a couple of calls at midnight and sms coming all through the day. I still have all those sms in my inbox which are waiting to be transferred to my computer.

I wish i had no college on that day but b'day wishes seldom come true (in my case never), and i had to go to college. My mobile was ringing all through the day which made me feel all the more special, thanks to orkut most people remembered my b'day. Krishna, Anand and Fenn were reminded of the b'day rituals only while going back from college in train and Krishna has this thing called vesha kottu, and Fenn gave me b'day bums (machan fenn, b'day bums is hitting the ass and not tickling it).

I called up Ashwin at around 7 pm to ask him to come over to Citi Centre. This is where the fun starts. Now Ashwin, Aparna and Kavitha had planned something for the evening and Ashwin and Kavitha were at the cake shop when i called up Ashwin,

Me: Where are you da ?
Ash: At office da, whats up ?
Me: Machan come to Citi Centre at 7.30 ...
Ash: Whaaaat !!! No no you go to your place, I'll come and pick you, we can go together ...

(Citi Centre is close to my place and i wonder why Ashwin said like that)

Me: Machan am meeting a few friends at Citi Centre at 7.30 and am on the way now ...
Ash: Eh ... Err ... Just a min ...
(and he discusses something with people around him, i couldnt hear anything because i was in the train)

Ash: No no, you come home, we ll go together ...

(now Ashwin said come home which made me wonder if he was already at my place but i had guests from Canada who promised to make it to Citi Centre at 7.30)

Me: Machan try to understand da ... I ve to be there by 7.30, i ve to take my bike from Kodambakkam station and rush there ...
Ash: Eh ... Err ... Just a min ...

(again he discusses)

Me: Machan who is beside you ?
Ash: Er ... nothing i'll call you back ...

Aparna and Kavitha refused to pick my call. Janani was on the way to Citi Centre and she was kind enough to bring my Canadian guest along.

Thats when i remembered my birthday clothes were not with me. Only in the morning i realised the pant was too long and gave it for alteration, so i went to collect the pant and rushed home to change. On the way home i called up Arun and Vish and asked them to come over to Citi Centre. Vish acts as though he knew nothing about the plan, now Aparna and Vish were on a bike when i called, they had got lost on the way to Citi Centre from Kotturpuram and were supposedly spotted at thiruvanmiyur signal.

After a quick shower i rushed to Citi Centre. Ashwin was frantically trying to hide the cake. Finally they opened and lit the cake and these dawgs had written about shakeela in it and made sure i eat the piece of cake that had her name. I still wonder how the guy in cake shop would have felt while writing such a thing on the cake and how could Ashwin actually ask such a thing. But anyway the cake was tasty, especially with the name. Thanks a lot guys.

I was thinking of buying a watch for myself and Janani had brought a nice big watch for me. Thanks a lot da ... It looks super cool and works super good. I bet she dint choose it.

Finally got back home after dinner and saw my Orkut scrap book spammed with wishes. Thanks a lot guys. And Gapp tried to pull a Bakra on me, and i almost fell for it. It was my first b'day bakra in 22 years so i kind of enjoyed it.

Kavitha and Senthil dint turn up for my b'day for which i dont plan to forgive them, but later Kavitha called up and sang a song for me, so i forgive her and she is still a strong contender for my heart (if you dint know, you can mail your proposals to me if you are a girl and under 22). Almost 99 % of the girls i ve had a crush on happen to be older than me by a matter of few months and i have three crushes born in December 84 alone.

At the end of the day, i did feel good, not as much like my previous b'days but still i felt good, thanks to you guys.

Its January 27 and people all over the world are already celebrating Ashwin's birthday. We at Akhila Indiya Aasai Ashwin Imsai Mandram (AIAAIM) have a few welfare plans for the innumerable number of fans of his.

1. First on our list of welfare programmes is "Full nite - First nite". It is novel concept being premiered on Ashwin's b'day. A free malli poo decorted first nite shall be arranged under one roof for all eloping couples. But there is a clause, any kid born out of this "Full nite - First nite" has to be named after Ashwin. Example : Ashwin III, Ashwin IV and so on, the sole purpose of this clause is to increase the popularity of Ashwin.
