The film begins with the Joker robbing a mob-owned bank with his accomplices, whom he tricks into killing each other before killing the last one himself. That night, a trio of Batman impersonators interrupts a meeting between mobsters and the Scarecrow. The real Batman appears and apprehends all of the criminals and impostors, but suffers injuries from dog bites, leading him to re-design his batsuit. Batman and Lieutenant James Gordon contemplate including new district attorney Harvey Dent in their plan to eradicate the mob, as he could be the public hero Batman cannot be. Bruce Wayne discovers the new D.A. is dating Rachel Dawes and chooses to host a fundraiser for Dent.

When mob bosses meet to discuss Batman, Gordon, and Dent, a Chinese mobster accountant, Lau, informs the gang leaders he has hidden their money to pre-empt a plan Gordon has hatched to seize the mobsters' funds. The Joker arrives unexpectedly, offering to kill Batman for half of their money, but the offer is refused. After Batman abducts Lau in Hong Kong and delivers him to the Gotham City police, the mobsters agree to hire the Joker. The Joker tells Gotham that if Batman does not turn himself in to police and publicly reveal his identity, people will die each day. When Commissioner Gillian B. Loeb and the judge presiding over the mob trials are murdered, Bruce decides to reveal his identity. Before he can, Dent announces that he himself is Batman and is arrested as part of a plan to draw the Joker out of hiding. The Joker attempts to ambush the police convoy carrying Dent, but Batman and Gordon intervene and arrest him; in recognition of his actions, Gordon is appointed police commissioner.

Later that night, when Dent disappears, Batman interrogates the Joker at the police station, who reveals that Dawes and Dent have been captured by corrupt police and placed in warehouses rigged with explosives on opposite sides of the city; they are far enough apart that Batman cannot save them both. Batman leaves to save Dawes, while Gordon and the police head after Dent. With the help of a bomb planted at the police station, the Joker escapes with Lau. Having been deceived by the Joker, who gave him reversed addresses, Batman arrives at Dent's location in time to save him, but the left side of Dent's face is burned in the explosion. Gordon does not arrive in time to save Dawes and she perishes. In the hospital, Dent is driven to madness over the loss of Dawes. After burning Lau with his half of the mob's money, the Joker goes to the hospital and convinces Dent to exact revenge on the corrupt cops and mobsters responsible for Dawes' death, as well as Batman and Gordon.

Dent, calling himself "Two-Face", goes on a personal vendetta confronting the cops and mobsters one by one, and deciding their fates with the flip of a coin. The Joker announces to the public that anyone left in Gotham at nightfall will be subject to his rule. With the bridges and tunnels out of the city closed due to a bomb threat by the Joker, authorities begin evacuating people by ferry. The Joker places explosives on two of the ferries—one ferry with convicts, the other with civilians—telling all the passengers the only way to save themselves is to trigger the explosives on the other ferry; otherwise, he will destroy both at midnight.

Batman locates the Joker and prevents him from destroying the ferries after the passengers on both decide not to destroy each other. The Joker acknowledges that Batman is truly incorruptible, but that Dent was not, and his madness has been unleashed upon the city. Subduing the Joker and leaving him for the SWAT team, Batman leaves in search of Dent. At the remains of the building where Dawes died, Batman finds Dent holding Gordon and his family at gunpoint. Dent judges the innocence of Batman, himself, and Gordon's son through coin tosses. He shoots Batman in the abdomen, but before Dent can determine the boy's fate, Batman tackles him, and they both fall over the side of the building. Dent appears dead, and Batman and Gordon realize the loss of morale the city would suffer if Dent's murders became known. Batman persuades Gordon to preserve Dent's image by holding Batman responsible for the murders. Gordon destroys the Bat-Signal, and a manhunt for Batman ensues.

I've been receiving some comments on an earlier post I wrote about the dark ritual energies that seemed to accompany the new Batman: The Dark Knight movie. You can view what I had to say about this here: Batman Movie and Dark Satanic Energies.

Many of the comments have been intelligent and insightful. The ones I have deleted have invariably been from young, hostile men who are proud about how "manly" they are because they are unaffected by scenes of brutal, explicit violence. Their comments can best be summed up as: "Dude, it's only a movie!"

In the April 24, 2007 issue of MIT's Technology Review there is a fascinating article called What Can Neuroscience Tell Us About Evil?

The article talks about how modern day psychiatrists and neuroscientists are learning a lot about psychopaths through studying brain imagery. The term "psychopath" has many definitions, but generally it's a person who lacks empathy, compassion, fear, or remorse. Brain scientists are finding that the sections of the brain responsible for generating these normal emotional reactions appear to be "missing" from the brains of psychopathic people.

Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), researchers in the United States, Germany, and elsewhere have started taking scans of the brains of psychopaths while the patients view horrific images, such as photographs of bloody stabbings, shootings, or evisceration. When normal people view these images, fMRI scans light up to indicate heavy brain activity in sections of the emotion-generating limbic system, primarily the amygdala, which is believed to generate feelings of empathy. But in psychopathic patients, these sections of the amygdala remain dark, showing greatly reduced activity or none at all. This phenomenon, known as limbic underactivation, may indicate that some of these people lack the ability to generate the basic emotions that keep primitive killer instincts in check.

The article does go on to say that not all psychopaths become killers. Some people whose limbic section of the brain is underactive head into the "heroic" professions and become firefighters, police officers, or fighter pilots.

That's actually a little scary. Give the psychopaths all the guns and heavy artillery and hope that they don't act out, even though their brains predispose them to be inhumanly desensitized to the suffering of other people.

What a superb idea.

I think before anyone runs for political office or is allowed to enter the military they should have a brain scan. It should be determined whether the person is able to feel compassion or empathy. If they are a psychopath, they are prevented from participating in either profession.

The Technology Review doesn't go into detail about how these brain tests work, but basically what happens is that the person sits with electrodes attached to various sections of their brain and they are made to watch various images which are flashed before them. Innocuous images like cute animals, nature scenes, and cars are interspersed with photographs of brutal scenes like dead or mutilated bodies, war zones, and so forth.

In a "normal," non-psychopathic brain, there is a huge spike of activity in the limbic center of the brain (the compassion and empathy center) whenever any of the horrific and violent images are shown. And when pleasant pictures are flashed in front of them, there is no such spike in activity.

In a psychopathic person their brain activity remains level throughout. In other words, they have NO REACTION AT ALL when violent and bloody pictures of dead human bodies or mutilated animals are flashed in front of them. It's just another day at the beach for them. They are unable to identify with the suffering of others and are blissfully unconcerned. At the anatomical level they are incapable of experiencing empathy.

We live in a culture where we have given permission for movies, TV shows, and other forms of media to constantly be flashing brutal images at us of people being mutilated, tortured, and killed. And this is supposed to be okay, and we're all supposed to go around being "manly" and insist that these images don't degrade us emotionally and reveal us to be sadistic animals.

Right.

Just yesterday I went to see what was happening at a liberal blog published by Arianna Huffington called the Huffington Post. Above the fold, filling the entire top and center of the screen, was a devastating photograph of an old woman crying as she stood next to another old woman, probably a close relative, who had been shot dead in the head and was lying on the ground in front of her.

Faces were not blurred. The spot where the bullet had penetrated the woman's brain and left a blood trail was not obscured.

We were just forced to see this if we went to that blog.

You know, I get it, Huffington Post - there's horrific violence escalating in the former Russian region of Georgia right now and civilians are being killed.

But I would feel just the same about it, knowing that it was terrible, if you hadn't shown me that disrespectful and gory image of some poor woman being shot dead, leaving her family devastated and grieving.

That's because I'm a human. Not a psychopath.

I GET IT.

Psychopaths don't. It doesn't matter how violent the images, how gory the movie, or how brutal or disgusting the photos or movie scenes are.

The brain of a psychopath is not wired the way real, compassionate, functioning people's brains are.

And we have allowed the abhorrent consciousness (or really, complete lack of consciousness) of the psychopath to dominate our culture, littering our media landscape with images too horrifying for a child to see. And if we're honest with ourselves and we're not playing "manly man" games, we know that they are too terrible for an adult not to be emotionally affected by, too.

And this is what we now celebrate in our movies and our media. Including in the Batman movie, which was one dark, ritualistic scene of gore after another.

Young, psychopathic men out there - you're welcome to enjoy your scenes of brutality and your complete non-identification with the victims of violence depicted in those films. You're welcome to continue claiming, "Dude, it's just a movie!" while at the same time enjoying all those horrific images of REAL people dying and being mutilated each day in the news. Admit it. You get off on it.

Just don't expect to get any air time at this blog. This blog is all about outlining the Custodial influence in human affairs.

And there are a lot of signs in the ancient texts about the Custodians that point to them being the true originators of the psychopathic brain sickness that many of their descendents have developed.

You cannot objectively view the actions of a being known as "Yaweh" or "Jehovah" in the Old Testament (who by the way, sounds exactly like the bloodthirsty and vindictive Marduk from the ancient Sumerian texts) and not identify this "god" as a complete psychopath.

We've been giving psychopaths too much respect, too much power, since day one.

And I say it's time to end it. And if you can't make a distinction between images that uplift the human race and inspire expansion of consciousness and imagery that degrades, abuses, and limits consciousness, well then -

You're not just a psychopath.

You're clinically stupid and not qualified to comment on the human condition in any way, shape or form.

I saw this last week and while I enjoyed it I could not help draw the same paralells this CNN journalist does. I'm relieved it isn't just me. This film is a masterclass in government propaganda, right down to the point where Batman (read Bush) accepts the his villification in the eyes of the public for the greater-purpose of defeating terror. It's quite sickening, really.

Mr. Christopher from the Corner Stork Baby Gift blog. The talk about town lately is what apparently many are viewing as a curse on the Batman movie Dark Knight. With multiple stars from the movie suffering injuries, arrests and even death, what started as a silly superstitious thought gains major momentum with each passing day in the theaters.

The first to occur was the death of special effects technician Conway Wickcliffe that died while performing a stunt on the London set. What sadly was viewed as an unfortunate freak accident gained curse status when Heath Ledger, who turned in the performance of a lifetime, died of an overdose. The movie is dedicated to those two individuals, but Heath's death caused a huge surge of interest by audiences worldwide to rush the box office and make Dark Knight one of the most successful movies ever in history. But the talk of the Dark Knight curse that remained was only energized by the eerie dark overtones of the film that only lent itself to the foreboding superstition.

Then a few days after the release of the movie, Christian Bale was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister. With this new addition to the bad mojo, the superstition had enough gas to run its course, but then the superstition was given yet even more gas (no pun intended) over the last couple of days as Morgan Freeman was brought to the hospital in critical condition after his car left the road and rolled several times. So 3 of the main stars of the movie were either injured, arrested or died along with one of the staff that died as well. That's 4 total, two of which were fatal, one of which could have been, and one that was a serious allegation that could bring major legal implications.

So I'll leave it to you. What weight does the superstition have and do you think this is just coincidence or is there something more sinister or dark than anyone could ever imagine? Your call.

You wanted to go check out the new Batman, and see what he looked like doing his thing, huh? Or you wanted to go see that car of his. Or maybe it is all the action and violence that you crave. Not me, I wanted to check out the Joker. That's right, him.
I thought his character was rather interesting. I kept trying to figure the guy out the whole movie. I really did not care about what was going on, I just was tuned in to him. Boy, he is one complicated man, isn't he? One minute you feel sorry for the guy, on minute you think he is kind of cute...that's right, I said cute, and one minute you think the guy should take some medication or something! I really liked the Joker. I am sad to see him go. I am especially sad that the actor did what he did. To get to that point in your life must be horrible,
So, go see the movie if you haven't already. Let me know what you think, ok?

Did you see the new Batman movie?

I have to admit that if I had listened to my intuition, I never would have seen it. I had an aversion to it even though I had enjoyed the first movie well enough. Part of that feeling was probably due to the death of Heath Ledger, whose image and performance I knew would be exploited in the hyper-promotion of the film. A real death cult can arise around certain tragic movie stars who die before their films come out. Think of the weird and crazy fans of Brandon Lee, the son of Bruce Lee who was actually killed while filming the movie The Crow from a supposed mistaken firing of a gun that everyone thought was loaded with blanks.

I could sense that a similar cultural fixation was arising around Heath and his death from a drug overdose, and that the viewing of Batman was going to be turned into a ritual vortex of negative energies.

Still, I went to see it with a friend.

It was a complicated, convoluted film with too many characters. Heath Ledger's performance was fine enough and the movie would have been better if it had just been about him and Batman. But there were lots of subplots, and one particularly gruesome plot line involving Harvey Dent which was just inexcusable for a PG -13 movie. The kids in the theater with me were noticeably traumatized by the gruesome stuff going on with Dent at the end of the movie, and their parents should have been warned. These were kids of 12, 13, far too young for what should have been an R rated film.

So the entire PR machine around this film was getting very dark, and after seeing the movie I felt that it was essentially a ritual sacrifice type of movie exploiting both the energies of Heath Ledger and his death and also something very dark and nasty, probably demonic, riding in on the scenes of Harvey Dent's mutilation and possibly a lot of mind control and subliminals also woven into the film.

Compare that with Hellboy 2, which I found to be a spiritually compelling, fascinating, funny and fun exploration of life in many dimensions - from supernatural creatures to earth devas to elves. Fascinating and good movie - check it out if you haven't already. It's a very interesting film from a metaphysical standpoint and it does not celebrate darkness at all - in fact, it illuminates morals and love in a really cool way.

Batman had none of that. It was just a suffocating immersion in yuck.

Well, I had a feeling that there was more weirdness to come with Batman.

It of course made an obscene amount of money in a short amount of time.

Then around the time of the Batman premiere in the UK, Batman star Christian Bale was arrested for assault in a weird incident involving his mother and sister.

In the UK the definition of assault is a little different than it is here in the US. In the US assault has to involve physical touch. In the UK it can just involve threatening words.

Reports from the scene contradict each other, but apparently Bale has long been estranged from his mom and sister, and I believe the women have each had reported problems with drugs. Anyway, they supposedly showed up at his hotel demanding to be let up to his room and caused a scene. Then they were very unruly when he let them into his room and may have made threats like "You owe us!" and said something derogatory about Bale's wife. Bale got mad and probably made some threatening noises like "Back off," and the entire thing escalated into a case of "He said vs. she said and she said," and it ended in his brief arrest.

I felt like Bale, being the center piece of this movie, was being bombarded by a lot of negative and strange energy as this film came out, and these chaos energies or even Custodial energies were working on everybody involved with the movie.

Well, today I was saddened to hear that Morgan Freeman, another star of the film, was just in a very serious car accident. Apparently they had to use the jaws of life to extract him from the car. He has supposedly broken a shoulder and an arm and is is serious but stable condition. I hope he is okay as I really like him and he brings a unique humane quality to all of his work. He's kind of an elder wise man type and I do hope he and his family are okay.

The problem is that Freeman was just in two very dark films - his role in Batman was rather small, but he also played a leading role in a dark movie called Wanted. Wanted is about a young kid who discovers he has unusual genetics which allow him to react fast and heal quickly, and he is recruited to become an assassin by a mysterious group called The Weavers. Morgan Freeman plays the head of the Weavers who decides who must live and who must die (for the greater good, supposedly.)

It's a somewhat mindless shoot 'em up movie, and the kid character is kind of funny and offbeat, yet the movie overall is very dark. It's all about teaching the kid how to kill people.

I wonder energetically if being involved with Batman and Wanted plugged Freeman into too many Custodial or dark energies, and if it stirred up chaos in his life, leading to his car accident.

Something very negative is "feeding" off the Batman movie, its watchers, and its actors right now.

I would advise psychically shielding yourself before you watch either movie as there are probably a lot of undesirable parasites hanging on in the etheric surrounding both films. And if you feel restless, angry, or emotionally disturbed after viewing either picture, then you definitely need to do some psychic clearing on yourself to shake off any residual goop.

Il film procede poi facendoci incontrare altri personaggi chiave dell' epopea DC come Harvey Dent/Two-Face (Aaron Eckhart), Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine).

Fala sério... ele ta sensacional no filme.

I wonder if the average american thinks like I do. My guess is that most people don't think like me. I know that certainly is more realistic than expecting people to think like myself. Although the new Batman addresses the war on terror delema very well it does not question the fabric of socitey issue that I deal with on my blog. In fact I actually think of myself more as a Batman against our society, because I would not resort to the same tactics in order to defeat the evil as Batman does in this movie. So in essence Batman is the government and the Joker is terrorism. But, missing even from this film is the questioning of the society itself and the nature of that society and the lengths that it will go to defend itself. But it does point the finger at you as the citizen in this society and it demands that you make the right choice even in the face of a flawed society!!!

[caption id="attachment_6" align="alignright" width="210" caption="Heath Leadger"][/caption]

Obrigado Nolan!

(Although I have always intended my blog posts to act in this manner, this may be the first entry where it really... matters. That is to say, these are intended to be commentaries, not reviews, so spoilers are sure to abound sooner or later. Read at your own risk.)

"Now “Iron Man” and even more so “The Dark Knight” move the [super hero] genre into deeper waters. They realize, as some comic-book readers instinctively do, that these stories touch on deep fears, traumas, fantasies and hopes" (Rogert Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times).

I can't really pin down the exact moment during the movie when I realized I was not watching a comic book movie but an actual film. I would imagine this happens to most of you who have seen it. With most comic book adaptations, specifically Spider Man and X-Men, you sort of get the sense as you watch the movie that you are just watching a recreation. You get your heroes and your villains, re-imagined for the modern age, and they galavant around onscreen for a few hours until the super hero defeats them in some pat way and the movie is over. This was especially true of the later movies in the Spider Man and X-Men series. Those films were simply crammed with characters, and the characters existed purely because they existed in the comic. But they were great. We didn't really need anything else in our superhero movies. We didn't think there was anything else to get from our superhero movies.

Then you watch The Dark Knight.

I think most of us have had some basic understanding about Batman up until this point. We knew he was human. We knew he was dark. We knew he was rich. But we also knew that he was still, at the bottom of it, a superhero. His super power was, if anything, simply being obscenely rich and also intelligent enough to invent clever technologies (or, as established in Batman Begins, smart enough to hire someone who is smart enough to invent all of those things). But I think a lot of us knew Batman through the old WB cartoon, or the old movies, or even the Adam West TV series. And yeah, we knew who Batman was. But now Christopher Nolan has made him real. More real, in fact, than any other superhero I have yet to see on the big screen.

Now, I think that people who really followed the Batman books and were really into them will know this already. But this is an eye opener for the rest of us. But I don't want to downplay what has happened with this film by saying that, well, Nolan took a dark character from a dark book series and put it on the big screen and, hey, it's dark! I think he did much more than that, because I think he was very aware of the other Batman movies when he came at this. He had to have been. But I think he was also very aware of the real depths of the Batman character that the comic books have gone on to reveal over the years.

He's also done something else pretty interesting too, and that is to make the villains real as well. Now, with Batman, I've always felt the villains were pretty real. Very few of them were diabolical for no reason at all. Most of them had tragic backstories. Two Face is a classic example: they were not born evil, and they may not even think they are evil. In fact, they are usually not even motivated by the typical vices of greed, power, and influence. They have many reasons to be doing what they are doing, and the difficult decisions they end up making along the way have very real consequences for them. This is part of what makes the movie so great.

Let's talk about Two Face. In two and a half hours, Nolan corrupts an incorruptible character, and he does it better and in a more believable way than George Lucas did with Anakin Skywalker in three times the length of The Dark Knight. It would have been easy enough to simply throw some acid on the guy's face and call it day - and I kept expecting that to happen too. I think it is enough to say that Harvey Dent's transformation is real. It's believable, and it's very serious. This is not a fantastical comic book story. It's about a real man's struggle against evil and the very fine line he walks to get there. And it's about how easy it is for him to cross that line separating justice from vengeance. Brilliant.

The Joker is probably the most vile, malicious, and evil villain I have ever seen in a superhero movie. And like Dent, he is also serious. He's a man who does what he does because there is no reason to do anything else. I think his entire motivation is summarized when he tells Dent how no one notices when a tank full of soldiers explodes halfway across the world, but when he threatens the mayor, "Introduce[s] a little anarchy... Upset[s] the established order... Well then everyone loses their minds!" I think the Joker takes a look at a world where people are not bothered by daily death counts on television during war but will turn the nation upside down over one murder, and he falls into a sort of inescapable nihilism. I think the message about the human condition that Nolan delivers with the Joker is one of the more profound - and disturbing - themes to appear on film since the invention of the reel. And this is a comic book adaption.

That's why I put a spoiler warning at the beginning. More so than anything I have talked about yet (and granted, I haven't talked about much) The Dark Knight defies a review. There's not much to say as a review. The movie is great. A+. But it is such a deep film, such a profound film, that it begs for discussion. It begs us to talk about it. It begs us to ask questions about the Joker and Two Face and Batman, and how these characters could exist in the world, and how they do exist in the world. Every now and again, a book or movie or (rarely, but it happens; see my upcoming Portal essay) video game will come along that will encapsulate some dangerous insight about the human condition in one piece of media. That such a thing could ever be contained, even in part, in a script or a novel's pages or even twenty hours of a video game is astonishing enough. That Nolan has done it so well, with characters that we have known for so long as something else, something less serious, is pretty amazing.

Before I move too far from the Joker, a quick observation. In two different scenes in the movie, the Joker offers two different accounts for how he got the scars on his lips. Having read the Joker's Wikipedia blog before the movie came out (in a nerd-like spasm of preparation), I was reminded of a note about his history, where he seems to remember different versions of his own history so often, he's not sure which one is true. "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!" He says in one book. If the movie-Joker's different stories are a throwback to this... Well, score one more for Nolan.

As for Batman, well, like we've established, he's human. And Nolan takes it seriously. Gordon saves Batman at one point, and this shouldn't astonish us, because Gordon is human too. I like that about the characters in The Dark Knight - Batman isn't the only one with guts. He's not the only hero. But he's the one with the mask. And that presents some very real moral dilemmas. Is it OK for Batman to enforce the law by himself? Is it OK for him to stop the Joker by spying on every citizen in Gotham? We get the sense that Batman is not really sure, and is in fact leaning towards the negative side. As Gordon remarks at one point, he's not a hero. I think what he is, what Nolan is suggesting he is, is a normal human being who is struggling with the very real consequences of his decisions. He set out to change the world and make things better, but is he doing that? Can he do that? There are vigilantes in The Dark Knight, dressed like Batman and trying to do his work; and they end up dead for it. What is Batman really accomplishing here? The amazing part is that even though Nolan seems to be challenging the superhero fantasy, he's actually challenging our own, very real ideas of morality and justice and heroism.

Like I said. The movie's great.

Final Score: A+

Tej Kohli always curious to know about Hollywood box-office reports. "The Dark Knight" which is another sequel in Batman movies makes Tej Kohli to find out in what figure it’s had crossed.

Last year Spider Man 3 makes a new mile stone in Hollywood history which was unexpectedly broke by new Batman Movie "The Dark Knight" with the estimated collection $155.within three days of the release , collection is basically from United States and Canada only , Warner Bros announced on 20 July 2008..

The fiercely projected film, co-starring late actor Heath Ledger as the anarchic Joker, surpassed the $151.1 million pull for "Spider-Man 3" during its first weekend in May 2007. Some experts knew very well that whole over world still having much fan for Batman and moreover no Batman Movie came within past few year , so their wait and desires to see batman makes this huge collection , but before that they ware expecting only $100 million business only . Foreign markets also gave good response with the collection of $40 Caped Crusader announced and feeling proud to tell its highlighted No 1 bows in Ledger’s native Australia ($13.1 million) and Mexico ($6.6 million).

Mamma Mia famous news release help to make $27.6 million more , North America Ticket sales reach to record $253 million which announced by Media by Number, pervious record was $218 million which was set two year ago .

Christian Bale is the hero in "The Dark Knight" in Batman role , English filmmaker Christopher Nolan is the director of this film . Previously he had also made "Batman Begins," which also made huge money with in one weekend in 2005 $48.7 million and totally collected $205 million .Warner Bros very confident during press conference to announce that “ The Dark Knight would break this record and make new record in the mid of the week”.

Warner also said in the earlier press conference that overall cost for making "The Dark Knight" is only $180 million in which Imax camera had used in wide level to shoot 30 minute of the 152-minute film for giant-screen theaters. The filmmakers also blew up bits of Chicago, which doubles for the fictional Gotham City. Many or the parents was very happy while they brings their kids to watch the "The Dark Knight" but they were disappointed due to nit getting ticket moreover what they expecting from movie they did not get more over they not find it to watch with students, they expecting just like comic but when they watch they find that movie not made for children’s. More of the person knows director Christopher Nolan's because of bleak adaptation comic book and chilling performance by the late Heath Ledger as a psychotic Joker. Some or the guys surprised by few scene a man being impaled with a pencil and a videotaped torture. Gitesh Pandya who are famous personality of BoxOfficeGuru.com told its just nothing but Comic book for adults , its be true that they make good one but sometimes its looks like that its be repeated scene or even editor did not make it mind to do more some excitement in movie . But Warner is very excited to figure out , that 51% audience was 25 or older but unable to speak about child figure ratio . "It's a PG-13 film, and parents should heed that," says Warner Bros.' Dan Fellman.

But what be more people expects and what be earnings movie get, its not a measurement for a movie success. Now where the media can play significant role for making a big hit either it’s be Spider man , Super Man or even Titanic . But everybody knows that Spider man and Super man, big name in cartoon or animation movies. Real movies make a new milestone for their success.

Gotham’s Hero, the Dark Knight. Gotham

*this review will NOT spoil the movie. Read on...

Gotham's Hero, the Dark Knight. Gotham's most notorious criminal, the Joker. They obviously battle it out. So what else can we expect?

Everything.

The Dark Knight stars Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, by far the best hero/villian duo I have ever seen. The movie was dark, real, but very much entertaining. This was a real test between good and evil, not just for Batman and Joker, but for Gotham as well. For 2 and a half hours, I was at the edge of my seat. A lot of people who watched it before me said it was really good, but that only made me doubt the movie (at first) more because I was afraid I'm going to end up being disappointed. That was not the case. No doubt this is the best Batman movie ever!

Plot: The story was very clever and very real. Unlike other Super-Hero movies, they made this one more realistic. There weren't any magnetic force fields or mutant healing powers. There was the Dark Knight who can easily get hurt and can just as easily become a villian as much as a hero. The overall story had a lesson behind it. When put to the test, are human naturally good or evil? That's a question to ask yourself when you watch this movie. Oh and be prepared for surprises and twists in the movie.

Cast: This is the first movie where my favorite character was the villian. No one played Joker better than Heath Ledger, not even Jack Nicholson.

It was actually Heath who carried the movie. This movie wouldn't be as good without him. I wouldn't be surprised if Heath won best actor from this movie.

Picture: What makes this movie action packed is that rarely any CGI was used.

Gotham City actually takes place in Chi Town and every explosion and fight scenes were real. Some of the Batman dives were CGI but most of them were real.

All in all, this movie is one of the best movies I've seen this summer. The big question is...is it better than Iron Man?

The way both movies are presented are definitely different. Iron Man is colorful, high-tech, with a taste of comedy. Dark Knight is dark, sinister, and more on the suspense side. In other words, I can't compare. They're good in their own sort of way. You'll have to see for yourself if you really want to answer that question.
