Yoon Eun Hye was caught singing a "Salad song", which indie-electronica band Humming Urban Stereo first recorded, in a video clip on August 23rd.

The new video showed Yoon Eun Hye singing proudly and cheerfully the upbeat song in the recording studio, Which gave fans a thought... is she coming back to in the pop-music scene, after retiring from girl group Baby VOX to pursue acting in 2005?? She previously recorded another song for rookie hip-hop group Mighty Mouth, providing vocals for their track “I Love You”. Sadly she denied ever coming back to the music scene.

The MV is pretty mediocre. It's just full of them dancing in various outfits to various backgrounds. I think the MV was directed by the same person who directed Shee, because they seem very similar with the lighting and everything. The member who sings first is one of the original members and she's so annoying. The person who sings second is pretty cool and I like her voice and everything. Then the girl who sings third and is always in the middle during the choruses; she's changed the way she sings, I could always pick her out, because her voice used to be really sharp, but she's isn't as sharp anymore. They looked like housewives out of the 40s or 50's [I'm not good with era's] with those night gown satin dresses.The song is OK, but the video is boring.

The '"almost" MIA Coffee Prince beauty, Yoon Eun Hye, is now the image of Vivian lingerie line. She replaced Kim A-jong (200 Pounds Beauty), the previous CF model and product endorser of Vivian.

Yoon Eun Hye has a one year deal with Vivian and her lingerie ads are set to launch in the Spring of 2009.

I am so glad to see her being active again and doing a new project but, I and the rest of Yoon Eun Hye fans will be more excited if she will star again in a drama or movie this year. Unfortunately, it will not happen. If she does announce that she will have a soap or movie project this year, then it will be shown by next year. Gosh! Let's just cross our fingers people.

Zur Geschichte von Baby Vox komme ich später noch einmal zurück.
Baby Vox' Titelsong des zweiten Albums ist ein Cover des populären thailändischen Songs "I Believe" von Tata Young. Kennt hier wahrscheinlich auch keiner, aber dazu kann Salome sicherlich einiges noch schreiben, da sie die vor mir schon gehört hat. ;-)

Der Song wurde ein wenig aufgepeppt und entsprechend modernisiert. Sehr hörenswert, wie ich finde. Doch leider wird es Baby Vox nicht sehr leicht haben zwischen den ganzen anderen Girlgroups, die momentan wie Pilze aus dem Boden zu schießen scheinen. Dennoch wünsche ich ihnen viel Glück.

Nun kurz zur Geschichte von den 1997 gegründeten Baby Vox, die einer der erfolgreichsten Girlgroups in Korea war. War? Ja, weil es diese Gruppe in der Form nicht mehr gibt und Baby Vox Re.V eine Art Nachfolger ist. Die Musik lässt sich in Pop einordnen, wobei sich aber auch einige Einflüsse aus Latin, Hip Hop und Dance wiederfinden. Das Vox bei Baby Vox steht für Voice of Xpression. Leider war der Gruppe bei der ersten Single der Erfolg verwehrt. Als zu hart wurde der Sound bezeichnet, was gleich zu einer Neubesetzung in der Musikrichtung aber auch in der Besetzung führte. Mit neuem Lineup und Image startete Baby Vox 1999 dann mit "Come Come Baby" durch. Danach folgte eigentlich Hit auf Hit bis sich 2005 die Girlgroup auflöste. Die Gründe waren unterschiedlicher Natur, einige wollte eine Solokarriere beginnen, sich als Schauspielerin versuchen oder waren mit im Laufe der Jahre eingeschlagenen Richtung nicht mehr zufrieden.
Nach der Trennung der Band wurde mit Baby Vox Re.V sozusagen ein Spinoff ins Leben gerufen mit komplett neuen Leuten. Die Zeit wird zeigen, was wir noch von Baby Vox zu hören bekommen. Wir sind gespannt. ;-)

I was really disappointed with this. I didn't like any song except I Believe. The whole album had a feel of 90's pop. Which I don't like. The Chinese version of Never Say Goodbye wasn't good. The Korean version is much better. When I Believe starts, the beginning reminds me of Jennifer Lopez's Waiting For Tonight. This album is no where near as good as their first album, unfortunately. I was really looking forward to this album as well ><

Baby Vox - I Believe Live Performance

It was an okay performance. It could have been much better for a comeback though. Two of the original have apparently been replaced and they are now simply Baby Vox not Baby Vox Re.V. The chorus is catchy, but the rest of it isn't that good. I liked the choreography though and I thought that these five performance well together, whereas with the previous members and when promoting their previous songs, it was uncomfortable watching some of the members. One of the original members had a hoodie and it has writing around it, which reminded me of Nicole Scherzinger's Don't Cha hoodie from the Pussycat Dolls.

Super Junior released their first license single "U/Twins", and it has won the group its first 4th position on Japan Oricon Charts.

"U/Twins" was released on 9th July. And on the day of release, the single has occupied 4th position on Oricon Singles Chart. Super Junior has indeed proved its popularity not only in Korea, China, Thailand and also Japan.

Especially since the songs in the single were sang in Korean and not Japan, except for the bonus track "U" which was recorded in Japanese, to be able to hit into the top 5 position on the Oricon Chart is quite a feat achieved. Super Junior will not have any promotional activities in Japan but held a fan meeting on 8th and 9th July in Japan Budokan. The fanmeeting had seen around 8000 fans attending it.

SM Entertainment said on 10th July, "We are happy that Super Junior received such great amount of love from fans. After hearing the news that their first Korea licensed single released in Japan won 4th on Oricon charts, Super Junior members were both shocked and happy. They have also want to return the great support they received by going back to Japan to perform some day."

WonderGirls will be the spokespeople for "Seoul Character Fair 2008". The announcements were made on 10th July.

WonderGirls will be participating in the opening ceremony of the fair on 23th July. They will also be appearing on media to inform masses of the fair.

WonderGirls said, " We are very excited to be spokespeople for Asia' largest scale cultural contest. We hope that everyone will come, support and enjoy all the characters like Pucca, Pororo, Dooly, Miffy and Spongebob."

Singer Kim Jang Hoon had, together with Korea's public relations specialist Seo Kyung Dok, published an advertisement on America's "New York Times" magazine on the controversial Dokdo island.

The advertisement was publised on the 9th July edition of New York Times, titled "Do You Know?". Kim Jang Hoon was appointed the public relation for cyber diplomat mission "Vank".

For the last 2000 years, the body of water between Korean and Japan has been called "East Sea". Dokdo(two islands) located in the East Sea is a part of Korean territory. The Japanese government must acknowledge this fact.

Jewelry has been appointed for JeJu Special Autonomy public information models.

The girls were in JeJu SeoGwiPo to film for the advertisement together with Kim Tae Hwan. The advertisement will come in 2 versions. And it is planned for the advertisement to be revealed in mid July.

One of the officials for the JeJu Special Autonomy board said, "We want to give JeJu a transformation. We have got Jewelry, the group that young generation really likes, to inform of the changes in JeJu, and be the models for our advertisement."

After 1 year, Baby VOX Re.V will have their comeback as "Baby VOX" in Korea.

The existing members Ahn Jin Kyung (25), Yang Eun Ji (24) and Hwang Yeon Kyung (23) will be joined by 2 new members Oh Min Jin (25) and Park So Ri (18). And they will be performing with stage name "Baby VOX" instead of "Baby VOX Re.V". They are back, determined to achieved what the first generation Baby VOX had achieved.

After debut, Baby VOX had activities in countries like China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mongol, Taiwan, Kuwait, Iraq etc. Using the name "Baby VOX", even though there is much lesser possibility that they will have activities in many other places in Asia, they are expected to take the music scene by storm again.

It is planned that they will only have activities in Korean during summer this year. Their concerts in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia will be put off, and for their Korean fans, they will start their promotional activities in Korea. But they will be away for awhile from 15th to19th July for their public performances in Russia.

Baby VOX will perform their title song "I Believe". Other songs which will be collected in their new album will be "Why Crazy" a sonng will be a punky style feeling, ballads like "Untrue Love", "Permission" and "What am I to do?".
