Most of the preparative work, able to do in distance has been carried out for the three works, but we are still missing proper geese for Agnes´Moon Goose Experiment. We have been offered all kind of birds from chicken to ducks, but where are the real geese of Siberia?

During her research she found out that a goose recognizes the animal or the person who takes care of it during the first two weeks of it´s life, so also an human can be a "mum" of a goose. If we did know about how complicated it can get to find geese in Siberia, Agnes could have raised some of her own and travel with her own goose family to Novosibirsk. Now it is too late, and we can only hope that we are lucky enough to find the ones for Agnes bio-poetical investigation.

Avatar Auction?

As described by Wikipedia "an avatar is a computer user's representation of himself or herself - it is an “object” representing the embodiment of the user." The photo at the top is my current avatar. So I guess what I am auctioning is the object from the object that is representing myself. In other words I have selected a sculpture to be auctioned on eBay. In my previous article "Do I have what it takes to be a successful artist?" is the reason why I will be auctioning one of my sculptures.

The selected "avatar" sculpture entitled "The Pumpkin Compass" will be auctioned on eBay. I entered some of the required information and uploaded 12 photos to eBay. There are only two things that I am committing to and that is. One, this will be a "No Reserve" auction, and second, I will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from this auction to "Habit for Humanity." My target date for the start of this auction is Monday, July 7th, 2008. Below is one of the new photos that I will be using on my eBay auction of "The Pumpkin Compass."

And it was! I hope to be there at their next event as well. The committee members are so nice and greeted us zillion times to make sure we feel welcomed since everyone is busy running around. The president, Justin, was waiting for us at the entrance the first day, welcomed us and make sure we are where we are supposed to be. Despite his busy schedule, he managed to pull everything nicely and still participate in activities at the event haha.

But we're grateful that everyone was supportive of what we did there, although I was a bit sad that I didn't bring my camera, though I doubt that I would actually have time to take photos there haha. But we do keep photos of out commissioners 8D They were mostly committee and cosplaying at the same time so it was super fun!

They were very nice people. I didn't get their contacts though ;w;

OHHHH we had dinner or was it lunch the next day which was a Monday, we went to this Korean restaurant which you pay on entry instead of what you eat. Gosh, this was great but I wasn't feeling well, but I did enjoy the meal though <3

I hope I'll get to go there again 8D

Oh, at the event that second day, I manage to do a few commission since I pretty much only colour. Ryu did a lot of sketch commissions; she's so talented orz. *I wanna draw tooooooo* D8 Oh, but when I was colouring (with my copic), the skin colour dried out!! I was very sad and a bit panicky since the commissioner has been waiting for me from the start and inking it has took a lot of time. But I managed to fix the skin with colour pencil and coloured the rest with copics <3

It was super fast though XD;; I hope the commissioner was happy with it. I'm not confident with my copic skills just yet haha. But this is what it looks like:

How did I do? 8D I managed to fit in my journal, artwork and event report n one entry fufufu, I'm a genius haha. I was planning to be there for cosfest though I got a letter from the government stating my oral test which is the very next day after cosfest so I won't actually make it in time and if I don't, it'll be a waste since I've paid for the test already. XD So I won't be there this year neeee~ ;A; It's an emergency, so yeh.

Though Neko and Kai will be there selling some KAMCAO and my personal prints. Please do support us. ^^

As I mentioned before, I am trying to focus in on a couple areas of my life in which I can excel at. One possible area is with my metal sculptures.
