CLASSIC INTRO INCLUDED 

The project uses 714 metal balls that are individually suspended one barely visible strings, creating an seemingly weightless, amorphous mass. Each ball lowers and retracts independently, which allows them to approximate almost any form.

The installation moves through a cycle of classic and contemporary BMW car shapes from throughout the company's 90-year history. In between cars, it goes through some impressive routines, showing the creation's versatility. Take a look at one visitor's video below.

Known as Shrinky Dinks when I was a kid, shrinkable plastic is now made for inkjet printers.  So I've made some tiny plastic prints of my work to use as pendants and cell phone charms.  Keychains are in the works but they are still a work in process.  Hopefully I'll have some original ideas for charms and pendants to show you very soon.  For now the Alice in Wonderland charms and pendants are available in my Etsy shop in pretty limited quantities for the time being.  Enjoy!

I know its old but ive been meaning to post this video for a long time but I forgot........This is my shit....and NO it has nothing to do with Lil Overatted....the beat and the hook is riding over the melody......and the chics in the new age futuristic look are fly as hell and visually pleasing.....lol

UK designer Duncan Shotton’s Digimech clock may look like an LED or LCD timepiece on the surface, but it’s actual a complicated mechanical contraption that creates a 7-segment digital illusion.

A series of cryptic looking numeric black on white segments are printed on vertical sliders which gradually move into position within a black masking box to reveal the current time. As time passes, the sliders climb to the top, until the 9th digit on any given position hits. After that, the mechanism disengages and drops the slider all the way back to the zero position. Each slider is pushed and pulled through the device by a set of 3 servos driven by a PIC16F628 microcontroller.

Bismarck uses his camera-mod to project images onto street furniture where they appear in the photos of strangers, but remain invisible to their eyes.

The device has a slave unit on top which is triggered when it sees a flash fire. This triggers his own flash, which fires through the back of the camera, through a film slide containing his slogan and then on and out through the lens at the front. This works because a camera is pretty much a projector in reverse. And because the light-graffiti is fired at the exact same moment the unsuspecting victim takes a picture, it ends up in their photograph.

It has been FOREVER since I've posted something for illustration, but here is a quick sketch with some photoshop coloring for this week's topic "Fierce," which just totally reminds me of Christina Siriano from Project Runway :)  Enjoy! 

Nintendo is proposing mind-control for it's next generation wii.T3 gives a little clue that all you have is a headset accessory that uses brainwaves to control characters and features immersing in-ear headphones.

Though brain-wave technology has already become a reality with Emotive pioneering in-game systems, but soon it seems Nintendo will come out with the first mind-controlled console on the market.

Today was a rocking Seattle day! After nerding it up at the art museum with my good friend 'Stealer of Posters' i enjoyed lots of sun by the waterfront and some amazing pear gelato! As far as gelato goes I super dig Bottega Italiana... the flavor choices are great and this stuff tastes like the real deal I used to have in Campo di Fiori.

The art, Inspiring Impressionism, was pretty amazing. I liked the compare/contrast angle the curators were going for, though sometimes it was a little to literal and with quick sketches next to classical paintings. Overall I really liked it...but really, like books, I have a hard time finding art exhibits I don't like. Even if I am not the hugest fan of the style or the subject I ALWAYS enjoy the experience and the thought provoking power art has. So if you are looking for a good hard-core art snob review you might have to look elsewhere... in the meantime i will enjoy the sun and suggest heading to the SAM if you are anywhere near Seattle!

Owl Stuffie and Illo :)  This is one of those things that I've been working on for awhile, at least in my head, that I finally have gotten out into the real world.  Felt stuffie with an original illustration :) Cuteness, hope you like it!
