This movie got panned by almost everyone, despite having good performances from the 2 newcomers. I decided to give it a shot, because... well, I'm a sucker for "suspense" movies. Overall, the movie isn't too bad. I mean, if you've seen other hindi suspense-ish movies, you know what's coming before it happens. All the "twists"... they're expected. You see them coming. Even the ones in succession at the end.

Simple plot. Arbaaz's wife (Neha) is kidnapped one night and a ransom is demanded from Arbaaz. Despite warnings not to involve the cops, Arbaaz does. The kidnapper notices this, and finally has had enough... he gets pissed at Arbaaz and let's him know that his wife is dead. Arbaaz is heartbroken. Flash back. You are introduced to the kidnapper, Sikandar. And you learn that Neha actually asked him to kidnap her (to see if Arbaaz truly cared for her). And you learn that while he didn't kill Neha, he comes back after following Arbaaz to find her dead in the house they were hiding in. And all of a sudden, he's in for the ride of his life.

Fine acting though. Sikandar Kher (Anupam Kher's son)was good. Not a bad first performance. Neha Uberoi was good as well. Yes, it seemed as if her role was to show off her skin, but she showed the ability to act as well. Arbaaz Khan was good as well, but it's his 2nd recent movie (after Bhagam Bhag) where he has this type of role. The one difference... he doesn't end up dead. Sanjay Dutt makes a guest appearance in a song.

Ah yes... the songs. I really like Kyun & Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag. But in the movie... the songs are unnecessary and just mess with the pace. Whenever something seems to be happening, a song happens. Kyun ends up alright... Sanjay Dutt doesn't add much to it though. Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag is horrendous... no idea what they did with the version on the soundtrack, but the version in the movie is crap.

Moral of the story? If there are a ton of people chasing after money (or even just a couple), in the end... most of them go home sad & empty-handed. Well either home or jail, but yeah.

Verdict: Watch for Sikandar & Neha only... they could be around for a while

Brakuje mi zbyt wielu gwiazd w Dewaangi Deewangi i to mi strasznie tą piosenkę psuje:) Film warty obejrzenia i samodzielnej oceny:)

Ocena: 9/10

When the movie started I was half expecting a regular Bollywood boy-girl flick. You know, the one where the boy and girl are best friends and don't realise that they are in love with each other until the end of the movie. But somehow, Abbas Tyrewala manages to turn this "frequently over told" story into a "light hearted, feel good" movie.

No spoilers in this review. So read on!

Tyrewala has done a fantastic job with Jaane Tu, both with respect to writing as well as directing. He has taken a seemingly normal story and turned it into a very watchable and entertaining movie by adding his own flavors. This movie has something in it that most modern movies don't: "Reality". The gang of college friends, the nick names, the middle class, the rich, the relationships between husbands and wives...You instantly start relating to the movie's characters.

The entire cast has performed extremely well. Imran Khan (Rats) was fantastic. Genelia D'Souza (Meow) was equally good. I would like to see how these two fare in other movie genres. Karan Makhija (Rotlu), Nirav Mehta (Jiggy), Alishka Varde (Bombs) and Sugandha Garg (Shaleen) are exceptional. Pratik Babbar is impressive. Ratna Pathak Shah and Naseeruddin Shah are hilarious. So are Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Paresh Rawal is at his comic best. Renuka Kunzru (Mala), Manjari Phadnis (Meghna) and Ayaz Khan (Sushant) have also done well.

A huge cast, isn't it? That's what surprised me. Since this was Aamir Khan's movie I expected Imran Khan to hog all the limelight. Completely wrong! On the contrary each and everyone of the above mentioned actors have more or less of an equal role to play. Probably the reason why the movie worked so well at the box office.

I must mention A.R. Rahman is at his best. Jaane Tu's music is still ruling the charts and radio waves.

On a scale of 1-5, I will give this movie 4.

Have you seen this movie? What did you think about it? Please share your comments here.

It’s a safe bet to define something as a “genre” when you’ve seen at least 3

It's a safe bet to define something as a "genre" when you've seen at least 3 films dealing with the same theme. Going by that Jaane Tu...ya jaane na very suitably falls into one I'd call the "Pyaar Dosti Hai" flick (courtesy: Karan Johar).

Call me immature if you want but I seriously cannot digest it when a guy and a girl who are "inseparable best friends" get the shock of their lives when someone suggests/suspects that they love each other. And then every few years comes a filmmaker who takes just about 180 minutes or so to make these "friends" realize that they really "love" each other and in the process (almost always) reaps rich harvest at the Box Office. For me, these really are pointless films but who cares as long as they entertain - and Jaane Tu... does a really good job at that. Abbas Tyrewala is probably the only screenwriter in recent times who many viewers actually recognize by name and he proves again why that is so. With a clever screenplay which makes use of every cliche in the book yet manoeuvring it around to deliver what undoubtedly is the smartest feel-good flick in a very long time.

Now let's talk about Imran Khan....wasn't all the hype around this film about him anyways! Again smart is the word to describe his debut. For someone like him, a mega-budget solo hero flick showcasing every ability he has would have definitely bombed. Imran much like Ranbir Kapoor has such a pleasing screen presence that you instantly take a liking to him. His deep voice is his biggest asset. Like every debutant, there are some raw edges but in a film and role like this they only serve to give that natural touch which is so essential.

The biggest shock I got in the movie was when Genelia utters her first lines. Since so many years, we've been used to seeing her regularly in Telugu flicks so getting to hear her real voice was quite unnerving at first. She does well though it comes across as a bit repetitive if you have seen her before. Among the other young cast Manjari Phadnis and Prateik Babbar are great. But on top of my list is Ratna Pathak Shah. It's been ages since I've seen such a loveable on-screen mother. Also a huge round of applause for those very sportive cameos from Naseeruddin Shah, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan. And we all know what A.R Rahman brings to a film...it's redundant writing about it so I'll skip that part except that new-find Rashid Ali is someone we'll surely get to hear more.

For all its pointlessness and silliness Jaane Tu...ya jaane na made me leave the theatre with a big smile. Needless to mention producer Aamir Khan has another winner on his hands.

Quite a lot of stuff happening around. Am not finding enough time to pen them down. Ever since the exam, have been watching quite a lot of movies. Some good and mostly ok types. Though i do find quite a lot of stuff in the movies that i dont agree with, i do understand that's the way the director percieves the characters and the story. Am not so interested in writing a long review of all the movies, but a few pointers to go along.

Juno

Its the story of a 16 year old girl who has a night of passion with her classmate and gets pregnant. The premise is fine, but what i couldnt understand was how her father and stepmom react to that situation. They are like ho-hum and just get on with life. I agree the movie was a comedy, but then it looked too artificial. And the cliches were all there. That guys are not sensitive and run away from taking responsibility and stuff. Both, the guy who impregnates the girl and the hubby of Jennifer Garner just back off at the right moments. It seems like only the women in the movie are compassionate and stuff. Pure bullshit. And the girl talks a bit too mature words for her age. Its like those telugu movies where the kiddos talk pure crap with the grown ups.

My rating *** (3/5)

Street Kings

My rating ** (2/5)

Woodstock Villa

Cyrus Broacha said on Ibnlive that Sanjay Gupta is being given an award, because he managed to make 3 movies this year inspite of the writer's strike in Hollywood. I thought that was the best explanation for the excuse of a movie that Gupta makes. Hansal Mehta is the director of the movie. Once he had made a pretty good movie called Chhal. God knows what happened later on, he got associated with Sanjay Gupta and gang. Sikandar Kher looks like an ape. Someone give him a bath and cut his hair. Arbaaz Khan is well...what should i say. As for the actress (am not even interested in knowing her name), she is good looking and seems like has no qualms showing off some flesh. Well, am not complaining ;)

My rating (0/5)

Sarkar Raj

I've always believed that Ram Gopal Varma makes the worst movies when he works with top actors. Some of his best work has been with obscure and unknown actors. Sarkar Raj points to the fact that he is too much in awe of Amitabh Bachchan and that he is too afraid to get into his bad books. The characters are too good with no flaws. Another reason to believe that neither the Bachchans nor RGV wanted to rile the Thackerays. Its as if the main characters are too good and incorruptible. Technically the movie is slick. But the Govinda Govinda chant in the background is enough to give you a headache. Wish RGV stuck to some background music. Aishwarya sucks big time. Abhishek as i always believed is 'butt ugly' and survives in the industry only because of his father. Amitabh is top notch. He simply chews up the scenes. Its a surprise to see how none of the father's and mother's talents rubbed on to the Small B.

My rating *** (3/5)

In Bruges

Pretty good movie about 2 hired killers who are sent to an ancient city in Belgium (Bruges) and asked to wait there for some time before they are given the details of the next person to bump off. As the two killers wander through the streets of Bruges, the guilt pangs start to build up and both start regretting the lives they had. When the information for the person to be killed arrives, its noticed that the target is none other than one of the killers. As the story races to the end, it goes in for an explosive climax. Colin Farrel, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes make it a compelling watch.

My ratings **** (4/5)

Starring Sikandar Kher, Neha Uberoi, Arbaaz Khan, Gulshan Grover
Directed by Hansal Mehta
Rating: ** ½

One thing is for sure. The image of the leading lady in our cinema has changed beyond recognition.

Barely months after watching Bipasha Bsau sleep her way to the Big O (opulence, not what you think) in Race, and weeks after Kareena Kapoor in Tashan showed us it's okay for nice small-town girl to covet that big villa in Vermont, we now have the ultra-confident semi-debutante Neha Uberoi (she has done a bit part in Dus Kahaniyan) who walks away from the mess she partly creates with a bagful of money.

No she doesn't get away with it. And that's not because the screenwriters got cold feet in drawing that svelte line between Sati Savitri and Slutty Savitri.

But only because the 'hero' (if we may call the glib-tongued amoral dude from 'drown'-under a hero) turns out to be smarter shrewder and more ruthless than the lady who doesn't believe in glancing backwards.

Woodstock Villa isn't a great work of art. It doesn't aspire to be. Its affectations in visuals, treatment, background score and characterization are so nakedly unsheathed and freed of the elements of realism that the posturing becomes a form of artlessness.

The films has a specific look and style. Granite walls, rusted floors, screaming desires and smothered conscience…what would a Sanjay Gupta production be without these?

Vikash Nowlakha Anshum's cinematography and Wasiq Khans's art design bring a sense of imminent peril into the plot. As though the characters were framed against a wall that separates humanity from doom.

Hansal Mehta's films specially that underrated ode to Chinese actioners Chhal have always been created on the editing table. Bunty Negi cuts the material down to a stark minimum.

The people who populate Woodstock Villa are crowded not by a supporting cast but their inner worlds which simmer to the surface in swirls of indignation.

I specially loved the pre-titled ten minutes when Arbaaz Khan with his bagful of ransom money is tracked down by his wife's kidnapper.

There's something about Mumbai under siege. Mehta holds the suspense at an arms (and ammunitions) distance. An inherently violent film, Woodstock Villa doesn't have too much blood spilling on the expensive wooden floors.

The ambience reeks of unchecked affluence where a wife takes off with a man who almost rapes her before he dumps her body in ravine where the slush and silence seem borrowed from Vikram Bhatt's Raaz.

The two newcomers execute their immoral unscrupulous distraught parts with a confidence that imparts an edge of erotica to the relentless action. Arbaaz Khan has one really difficult sequence where he has to break down at the end and bawl like a baby on the floor.

Meena Kumari in Guru Dutt's Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam had fallen to the floor with an anguished cry because her husband leaves her.

Arbaaz's screen wife and his mistress have left him at the end. He's the loser in this tightly-knitted game of cat and mouse.

And the 'hero' flies off with money that he didn't earn.

Gee, what a wonderful world we've gifted to the coming generations.

What you look for in a thriller is this; when the pieces begin to unravel and you want to put them back in place, the plot has to make sense. That's what earns the audience's appreciation. That's what STRANGERS was all about. This Kay Kay Menon-Jimmy Sheirgill-Nandana Sen thriller released last December, was a perfect example of how a thriller should be. Sadly, WOODSTOCK VILLA has none of these attributes. Though it begins well and holds your attention until intermission, when the pieces begin to unravel you say, "Is this what it is?" Hansal Mehta has no clue what he is up to. All he knows is that he has to help Arbaaz Khan cover up his wife's death. OK, picture this: Arbaaz's wife is dead and he has his lover take her place. My question is this: are the servants so blind as to not know that this here is another woman living in the house. And Neha Uberoi who is helping Arbaaz cover up for his wife's death is not even an identical twin! Picture this too: Neha and Sikander are off to the US with the booty after they trap Arbaaz. Both check in separately to avoid suspicion since the cops are on their trail. Since Neha is carrying the bag with the cash, she decides to give Sikander the slip, moves to another counter and asks for a ticket to Johannesburg. My question is this: does she not need a visa to go there? Picture another scene: Sikander has boarded the flight to the US and besides him is the bag filled with Rs 50 lakh. My question is this: will not the immigration officials in the US want to know where the money came from? So there you go. The plot is a complete mess. All that is left to review is the performances of Sikander Kher and Neha Uberoi who was last seen in DUS KAHANIYAN. Sikander Kher who plays the Casanova is very confident. It does not look like this is his first performance on screen. If he makes the right choices, I'm sure he will go places. A bright future indeed. As for Neha, no complaints. She does a fairly impressive job. Anupama Varma who makes her presence on screen after a long time looks the sensuous seductress she portrays in her short role. The background score is too loud and the songs look forced. The film has good production values though. Sadly, it has no plot. TO GO OR NOT: To talk it all, the corpse is almost a week old. You can imagine the stench. Stay away.

Preity left for the Cannes Film Festival on Wenesday morning at a time when she's neck-deep in IPL affairs.

"Can't help it, ya," she phoned and groaned groggily from Frankfurt airport. "For two years now I've been the brand ambassador for Chopard and I've to be at Cannes every year, come what May…ha ha pun intended."

Preity has several events lined up in Cannes, but no movies. "There're no movies this year. I'd have liked to bring my film Har Pal. But it isn't ready. If Rituparno Ghosh's Last Lear is shown I'll go for it.

But Chopard will keep me busy for the next three days. I've a red carpet event. Then a dinner organized by Chopard followed by a picnic in the afternoon. I return on 17 May and head immediately for my IPL commitments."

Understandably she's exhausted. "But I'm also exhilarated. The IPL has been a whole new learning experience for me" said Preity accompanied to Cannes by her cousin Inder.

What about those who feel the IPL is confusing cricket?

"Not at all! It's such an eye-opener. Players of different age groups and of different nationalities are interacting on one platform. The younger lot is learning from senior international names. Where would they get a chance to do that?"

“Six Visionary Directors. Ten Spectacular Stories. One Cinematic Journey.” claims the po

"Six Visionary Directors. Ten Spectacular Stories. One Cinematic Journey." claims the poster of this film. I believe they've used the wrong words. So here is my correction.

Six ordinary directors (nothing visionary about them).
Ten unconnected short stories (nothing spectacular about them).
One cinematic experience (not a journey since it doesn't really take us anywhere).

Ram Gopal Varma's portmanteau films, Darna Manaa Hai and Darna Zaroori Hai, had to face flak for their weak connecting threads. Sanjay Gupta (producer and director of 4 segments in this film) decides that his attempt will keep the stories unconnected. Now that raises the question, "Why is this considered a film?". This could easily have been a television miniseries. I would have thought that something should have been common to the various pieces, even if it was very vague or abstract (location, character, theme, event, message, genre, anything!). But to the best of my knowledge, nothing, except the fact that they are short stories, links them together.

This anthology is aimed at providing a novel cinematic experience for Hindi film lovers but is it good enough to warrant a watch?

One story definitely makes the cut. Written by Gulzar and helmed by Sanjay Gupta, Gubbare featuring Nana Patekar and Anita Hassanandani (wasn't she called Natassha for a while?) stands out. This is a lovable piece about relationships between couples and how they don't make the best use of their time together. Gulzar's dialogue is the strength of this story and Nana Patekar does a super job enacting his part. Anita isn't bad either.

Rice Plate (written by Sanjay Gupta and helmed by Rohit Roy) is a simple tale of a misunderstanding that has been used for comic effect elsewhere. Here Gupta intertwines it with religion using a bigot as the main protagonist, making the message more pertinent. Shabana Azmi is brilliant but Naseeruddin Shah gets little to do. Meghna Gulzar's Pooranmasi (written by Meghna based on a story by Kartar Singh Duggal) also has an interesting storyline and is well executed.

The segments helmed by Sanjay Gupta (who is also credited for writing most of them) are stylishly shot and are moderately watchable. Matrimony (apparently inspired by Roald Dahl's short story Mrs. Bixby and the Colonel's Coat), Zahir (written by Rajiv Gopalakrishnan) and Strangers in the Night (story by Gupta and screenplay by Sudipto Chattopadhyay) depend almost entirely on their final twists (meaning that you either chuckle at the irony and think it is amusing or deplore it completely) while Rise and Fall (said to be inspired by Ching Po-Wong's Blood Brothers) has some interesting moments, mainly the Rise part of it.

Jasmeet Dodhi's difficult to digest Lovedale (written by Kamlesh Pandey), Hansal Mehta's pointless and uninteresting High on the Highway (written by him) and Apoorva Lakhia's awful B-grader Sex on the Beach (written by Shibani Tibrewala) fall on the lower end of the spectrum.

The problem with a majority of the stories is that they lack the appeal, identification, observation or irony that could make them memorable. Some of them could easily have been formulated in an ill-conceived minute or two. The good thing about the film is that the stories are short (ten stories in two hours - you do the math) and finish before any of them can truly irritate you. Hence, this collection of short films might just have enough to satisfy you if you are looking for something different from the average hindi film.

Look at her! The pretty girl barely out of her teens is running from pillar to post. On Saturday 3 May she was in 3 cities within 12 hours.

"I was shooting in Goa and had to catch a flight to Bangalore for the IPL match on Saturday," she explains breathlessly.

"But I missed my flight. Fortunately Dr Vijay Mallya had me flown in his jet or I wouldn't have been able to make it…That's one of the advantages of being the brand ambassador for Dr Mallya's team (Royal Challengers). You know they'll make sure you'd reach where you are required in spite of maddening schedules."

Katrina loves cricket. "Everyone in London is crazy about the game. So I kind of grew up with the game. Here in India too it's a passion.

So when Dr Mallya asked me to be be their brand ambassador I agreed. I've known him for years and can't say no to him.We shot the music video with Sanjay Gupta and it was great fun."

She loves watching the IPL games and cheering for her team.

"The only thing I hate is to have fans approaching me, not because I don't like to connect with fans. In fact I love it. But while watching a match I don't want to be disturbed. People tend to get in the way when the matches are on."

The lovely lass from London is only now learning to connect with the public.

"Whether it's the IPL matches or my songs and dances for movies, I think I've really started having fun only now after Race. I've never enjoyed my dancing so much.

Yeah I think I'm finally unwinding both on screen and on stage. I recently started enjoying dancing on stage. I realized that at the Zee awards. Earlier I had neither the songs nor the confidence. Now I guess I've a bit of both."

Here’s another quake hitting bold and beautiful Bollywood. The made for each other couple, Arb

Here's another quake hitting bold and beautiful Bollywood. The made for each other couple, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan, have separated and will be seeking talaq, going by the indisputable indications.

This comes soon after the stunning, overnight as it were, split between Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor, looked upon as the head-over-heels in love pair for quite some time.

While both Shahid and Kareena kept their counsel, Shahid rose in the esteem of his fans for playing the dignified lover being dumped after all those wild quotable quotes about their everlasting love and their tongue wrestling in a public place MMS.

Kareena, who is now looked upon as the coolest babe on Saif Ali Khan's arm (and in his arms), fell for Saif during the outdoors of Tashan and the news plopped out just prior to the release of Shahid-Kareena's only hit, Jab We Met.

Saif, just out of his torrid relationship with Italian bomb, Rozza Catalano, has gone through the pleasant agony of tatooing Kareena's name on his arm, and Kareena is in the euphoric quoteable quote mode again as if nothing or Shahid ever happened only the other day!

Of course, true to showbiz type, both Saif and Kareena are also emphasising to everyone who cares to listen, that their career is on the upswing at the moment, and certainly they will marry, but don't see that happening before another five years.

The emergency exit for another couple of Shahids and Rozzas to happen in the next five years.

On the surface, the Arbaaz Khan-Malaika Arora affair looked a lot more cool and dignified, and the eyebrow raising was because people couldn't believe that what they were seeing was worth believing. They seemed to be too genuinely happily married to be true. And they lasted all of 10 years and a five-year-old son, Arhaan.

After his much touted acting debut in Daraar, where he played a debonair sunglassed villain, Arbaaz's career never took off, despite the family film where all three Khan brothers played stellar roles, Hello Brother.

He managed two-and-a-half roles in the years since, but all of them rather insignificant. The last we saw him in was Apoorva Lakhia's Shootout At Lokhandwala, starring Sanjay Dutt, in which he played a dashing cop, buit the film was not a commercial success either.

Malaika, on the other hand, was a high-profile model and hit the Bollywood jackpot by swivelling her hips with Shah Rukh Khan atop a moving train.

Dil Se's Chhaiyaan Chhaiyaan made her a memorable item girl, and she made her sexual presence felt as a 'love and agony aunt' anchor on television and make cleaage and leg showing appearances at glitzy parties and inaugurals. Kaante's Mahi ve and Welcome's Hoth Rasiley, also added punch to her power as an item girl.

In a split-second appearance among a galaxy of Bollywood stars in Heyy Baby and Om Shanti Om, both the sisters Malaika and Amrita Arora are seen shaking their booty, along with Arbaaz!

When a television channel, Live India, broke the story late last night (April 16) and asked the couple separately about the divorce, Arbaaz and Malaika neither confirmed nor refuted the news, but their replies were loaded.

"It is my private life and I would not like to discuss it in public," Arbaaz said, adding, "Life is uncertain and no one knows what will happen tomorrow."

Malaika seemed to be pretty shaken and also asserted, weakly though, "It is too personal and I would like to keep quiet on this issue." When reminded that keeping quiet on such issues indicates trouble, Malaika reiterated, "I believe silence is golden."

The news comes as a surprise especially at a time when Malaika and Arbaaz are getting ready for their Kannada film together, Shaadi Ke Side Effects. The film, which is ironically about marriage and infidelity, casts Malaika in her first lead role.

It could just be a publicity gimmick for the film, but their reactions did not seem to indicate that. Even the Kareena-Shahid split was initially supposed to be a gimmick for pushing Jab We Met.

Arbaaz and Malaika's 10-year-old marriage is to end, it can safely be concluded, unless there is a last minute reconciliation.

They have one son, Arhaan, from this marriage and people have always looked on in awe at the couple's successful bonding despite a failed career of Arbaaz and Malaika always being the hot-bod model mom who even appeared in various stages of undress in Maxim recently, but with a total understanding between the couple.

Ten years of mutual respect between a high-profile couple is not usual in Bollywood or showbiz. That is why this comes as a shocker, coming as it is without any runway clues.

The news trickling in is that Arbaaz has found a new love with whom he is living secretly at a Bandra property. Even during the Shahid-Kareena affair, there were rumours of the goody-goody Shahid having been seen with co-star Amrita Rao too many times.

Kareena is supposed to have spit fire and doused any flame waiting to break out. But here, Arbaaz has actually separated from Malaika, his wife since 1997 and mother to five-year old Arhaan, two weeks ago.

A friend of Malaika has told the media, "Malaika and Arbaaz have stopped communicating with each other completely. She is not even aware where Arbaaz is."

Arbaaz, on the split and a rumoured second marriage, says, "I don't want to comment on my personal life or on Malaika. Why is the press so impatient? They will know whether I'm remarrying or not in due time. I will probably talk about it soon. At this moment I don't want to say anything further."

Hand-in-hand they walked into Manish Malhotra’s show and they continued doing so at the postparty on Saturday night for the Lakme Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008. We’re talking about Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the ‘it’ couple around town. While the two were very late for the show, they arrived pretty early at the party, in fact, one of the very first to arrive!
But then, like most of the other guests who hung around at the venue to catch the action of the high-powered Arjun Khanna show, they decided to go straight to the party. Joining them in their fun and games were the likes of Gauri Khan and Urmila Matondkar. The steady stream of guests also included Simone Singh and Fahad Samar and a whole bunch of models, most of whom were on partyhopping mode.

Bollywood's latest teen heartthrob and the face of 'Youngistan' Ranbir Kapoor had yet another debut of sorts, last Saturday (March 29). The handsome actor, who impressed one and all with his acting prowess in Saawariya, took the ramp for the first time at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai.

Ranbir, looking dapper in an ethnic 'sherwani', walked the ramp for his good friend -designer Arjun Khanna. The suave actor had family support too on his special day. Mom Neetu Singh and his lady love, Deepika Padukone cheered him loudly as he appeared on stage. But the moment of the show was when Ranbir gave an impromptu flying kiss towards his mom and Deepika.

Whether that flying kiss was for mommy dearest or his dream gal we'll keep mum and leave it to your imagination!!!
