... With our overwhelming wealth, power, and military firepower, the United States exercises virtual hegemony over the globe. Granted our influence is waning, but we still call most of the shots. As lord and master of the planet, we are doing a miserable job. Emotionally infantile, we have a sense of entitlement that dwarfs Mt. Everest, we are absolutely certain that we are center of the universe, and we throw incredibly destructive tantrums when we don't get our way, the American Way that is. We are massive toddlers inflicting our version of the "terrible twos" on the world. Were we not wielding such a massive cudgel, our childishness would be laughable.

Under our "good stewardship," as our current unitary executive loves to call it, the world is careening down the highway at break-neck speed with an infant at the wheel. And if he crashes before an adult can wrest control from him, we're looking at a major accident with multiple fatalities. We've already pushed the world to the verge of economic collapse, the brink of starvation, the initiation of perpetual war, and impending environmental disaster.

Collectively, we act without conscience or concern for the consequences of our actions. The American Way of Life is "all about me and to hell with everyone else." We revere narcissism, hyper-individualism, greed, wealth, and status as virtues. Becoming a rich, acquisitive careerist by clawing one's way to the top of the hierarchy through deceit, betrayal, sycophancy, and whoring oneself out in any way imaginable is enshrined as the penultimate achievement in our sewer of a society.

Das Essen war wie immer gut und wir haben gespannt den Geschichten von Mike zugehört. Mike ist ein Sergeant in der Armee. Da er Reservist ist arbeitet er auch in einem Gefängnis in dem keine amerikanischen Staatsbürger zu finden sind. Dort ist er ein Deputy US Marshal. Es war echt interessant sich Geschichten anzuhören von all den Sachen durch die er bisher durchgegangen ist. Er wurde soweit in verschiedenen Kriegsschauplätzen eingesetzt und wir im September für 12-18 Monate in den Irak einberufen.

Interessant war aber nicht nur die Konversation mit ihm, sondern auch mit seiner Tochter, welche ja die meiste Zeit mit ihrer Mutter verbringt. Sie hatte ein Spielzeugtelefon mit dem sie mich andauernd (alle 10 Sekunden) angerufen hat. Wir hatten also Telefongespräche und ich fragte sie was sie so macht. Darüber gibt es zwei interessante Dinge zu berichten:

1. Sie hat mir interessante Sachen erzählt wie: In der Mall shoppen, habe Schuhe gefunden, bin im Auto und fahre nach Hause, bin im Stau, vor mir gibt's einen Unfall, die Kinder sind mit mir, ich bin am Strand, ich gehe mit meiner Freundin aus, ich muss auf die Kinder aufpassen und die Kinder benehmen sich nicht.

2. Immer wieder sagte sie mir Sachen wie folgende: Ich muss gehen, habe gerade einen Anruf bekommen und muss auflegen, bis später, ein abruptes "alles klar bis dann".

Fazit: Obwohl Olivia nur 4 Jahre alt ist klingt sie genau wie eine Erwachsene. Anscheinend ist ihre Mutter sehr beschäftigt und sie observiert alles was ihre Mutter sagt und tut dann so als ob sie auch eine erwachsene Person wäre. Tja und somit kann ich, wenn auch nicht verallgemeinernd sagen, dass einige Kinder schon in die Rastlosigkeit, Schnelllebigkeit und Geschäftigkeit des "American Way of Life" sehr früh eingeführt werden.

Genial acción de la cadena de fast food que convierte al consumidor en juez (cómo si ya no lo fuera), que dictamina en forma de reacciones y declaraciones asombrosas, elevando al Whopper a la categoría de "elemento esencial e imprescindible".

Todo ello con mucho humor, críticas directas a McDonald's incluidas y, como nos tiene acostumbrado el american way of life, el inevitable pero necesario en este caso, happy end.

"Grande journée de lâché de carbone. Le 12 Juin, aidez à sauver la planète : lâchez les gaz !"

Non, ce n'est pas une blague, comme je l'ai d'abord pensé en écoutant la radio ce matin. Ce type - Steve Eliott est son nom - a été interviewé durant 2 ou 3 longues minutes à une heure de grande écoute pour l'initiative prise par son organisation d'inviter les citoyens américains à produire le plus de dioxyde de carbone qu'ils peuvent le 12 Juin. "Nous allons faire un grand grand rot! ". L'objectif est non seulement de protester contre les mesures de restriction des émissions de carbone - qui mettent en danger le "bon vieux mode de vie américain" -, mais selon Eliott, "il pourrait être bon pour la planète d'accroître nos émissions de carbone, car il y a de moins en moins d'arbres qui rejettent naturellement du carbone pendant la nuit ". Grassfire.org - l'organisation populaire conservatrice d'Eliott (comme il la présente) - affirme fièrement sur son site web qu'elle recueilli plus de 10.000 signatures de citoyens américains contre les restrictions sur les émissions de carbone et qu'il est prévu de relâcher plus de 45.000 tonnes de CO2 dans l'atmosphère le 12 juin (oui, vous devez vous engager sur un volume supplémentaire de CO2 pour participer à la journée!).

Alors soyons fou ! Demain, mettons la climatisation à fond et conduisons comme des dingues ! On va leur faire savoir à ces gens de Washington ce qu'on pense des conneries sur le réchauffement climatique et des ours polaires prétendument en danger !

Mais je vous suggère d'envoyer la facture de carburant à Grassfire.org et de leur faire savoir à EUX ce que cela vous coûte - et pas aux ours polaires - d'augmenter votre empreinte de carbone à l'occasion de cette grande journée de pollution ;-)

No, that's not a joke as I first thought it was when listening to the news this morning. The guy - Steve Eliott is his name - got interviewed for 2 or 3 long minutes at the morning radio news for his organization's initiative to invite American citizens releasing the more carbon dioxide they can on June 12. "Let's make it a great big belch!". Not only is the objective to protest against carbon restriction measures - that endanger our "good old American way of life" -, but according to Eliott, "it might be good for the planet to increase our carbon footprint, since there are less trees naturally rejecting carbon at night". Grassfire.org - Eliott's conservative grass-root organization (as he presents it) - proudly claims on its website that it collected more than 10,000 citizen's signatures against restrictions on carbon emissions and that more than 100,000,000 pounds of CO2 are set to be released (yes, you must commit to a number when joining the belch day!).

So let's have some fun tomorrow, turn the air-con on high and drive like crazy! Let the people in Washington know what we think of that Global Warming crap and supposedly endangered polar bears!

But I suggest you send the gas bill to Grassfire.org and let THEM know what it costs you - not the polar bears - to increase your carbon footprint on such a "great belch day" ;-)

Grantville parecia ser a cidadezinha perfeita para um ex-prostituta tentar a sorte de conseguir embeber sua vida soturna em um pouco de banalidade. Mães passeiam com crianças pelos parques; homens cordiais encontram-se em esquinas para jogar conversa fora; as ruas parecem limpas, cristalinas, simétricas, ao contrário da sujeira e da podridão inesgotáveis de uma grande metrópole.

Um nome determinante, porém, faz o sonho despencar imediatamente aos olhos do mais crédulo dos fiéis: Samuel Fuller, diretor símbolo de audácia e transgressão (responsável por alguns ótimos trabalhos como o documento-de-recortes Agonia e Glória). A exemplo do que Lynch arquiteta em sua grande obra-prima, Veludo Azul, Fuller carrega de esperanças o universo pacato do interior dos Estados Unidos para, posteriormente, arremessar a lama quente e fedida a merda por todos os lados.

O Beijo Amargo pode até ser considerado um típico representante do cinema noir, mas no fim acaba sendo uma experiência suja, amoral, escandalosa e corruptuosa demais inclusive para o gênero – mesmo sendo exatamente estas as características principais do estilo, o que cria um paradoxo bastante interessante. É, na realidade, um melodrama rasgado por uma ironia muito distante de ser sutil, que consegue encontrar semelhanças, talvez, apenas no atual cinema de Lars Von Trier.

Aliás, é curiosa a relação que possui com aquela que talvez seja o mais virtuoso exemplo do cinema do dinamarquês, Dançando no Escuro. Porque, tanto em um quanto no outro, é notável a manipulação amoral de cada frame do filme para a acentuação e a fundamentação do discurso final - mas ao contrário do que pode parecer, no fim acaba sendo o mais imprescindível elemento para transformar o filme naquilo que ele realmente é, e não uma sacanagem desastrosa – talvez o grande exemplo disso seja o maniqueísmo das imagens

Porque a odisséia de mergulho em um mar cada vez mais preenchido de desgraça, que leva a protagonista a uma desilusão incontrolável com a sociedade na qual está inserida – mesmo que o fato não seja explícito, tanto quanto seus sentimentos, expressados apenas pela inaptidão de seu semblante de amargor quase indestrutível antes da explosão derradeira -, nada mais é do que Fuller cravando o dedo nas principais feridas da América para comprovar sua tese de que o sonho americano, na realidade, é a mais pura utopia, e que o sonho está distante de ser alcançado – principalmente diante de toda a perversidade que dá subsídio para a ilusão do American Way of Life.

Creada por el productor y guinista de Los Soprano, Matthew Weiner, Mad Men es una provocativa serie acerca de cómo vender la verdad. Ambientada en el Nueva York de los años 60, la serie gira en torno a las vidas de unos hombres y mujeres sin piedad y muy competitivos que trabajan en el mundo de la publicidad, ubicado en Madison Avenue, un mundo guiado por el ego y el amor propio de sus protagonistas, acostumbrados a hacer un arte de la venta mientras sus vidas privadas quedan bastante apartadas de sus prioridades... Y hasta aquí puedo leer.

Mad Men es el nombre con el que se conoce a los ejecutivos de publicidad.

Para muchos la serie será lenta y aburrida, pero seguro que será disfrutada por los espectadores más exquisitos. Todo en ella está cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle, incluyendo unos originales créditos iniciales. En definitiva, una fantástica serie no apta para todos los paladares.

Estupor: una banda de perturbados (el apodo “Mad Men” lo acuñaron los propios ejecutivos de la industria de la publicidad) controla en absoluta inopia las herramientas de manipulación más poderosas jamás conocidas por el hombre.

Regocijo: envidia la época de los mercados vírgenes, cuando el marketing moderno estaba por hacer, las ideas nunca podían ser plagios.

Pánico: en 1960 la promesa del “American Way Of Life” amenazaba con convertirse en realidad.

Orgullo: exceptuando la sonrojante caricatura del marido de “Embrujada”, pocas veces una serie de televisión ha retratado la profesión.

Curiosidad: ¿cómo actuaban las multinacionales, inconscientes de su poder, antes del primer viaje a la Luna?

Delirio: cuando los personajes desechan cínicamente que Volkswagen vaya a obtener ningún éxito con su nuevo anuncio “Lemon” para el Beatle.

Respeto: ha ganado el Globo de Oro a la mejor serie del año.

En definitiva, si te gusta el mundo de la publicidad, no te la puedes perder.

But some don't  quell that reaction: some act on it,  demanding a woman stop  feeding a baby in public, citing  it as an offense.  I've been considering what might be at the core of this gut reaction.

What about public breastfeeding is freaking out the starbucks latte drizzlers and retail assistant managers (not to mention media talking heads) around this country? The point has been adequately made that the average cover of Cosmopolitan available in the grocery checkout line shows more ta ta flesh than most women giving baby mee mee at the mall. And therein lies an explanation, and possible solution.

Breastfeeding is an inherently anti-market act. It does not require the repeated purchase of mass produced formula, and when done consistently, neither requires the purchase of plastic bottles and their accompaniment paraphernalia. Additionally,  the media has reported over time the considerable amount of research which suggests that breastfeeding encourages a much healthier baby and child, a child who may not need as much assistance from the pharmaceuticals industry as a pharmaceuticals industry executive might hope. One can add to that studies implying that there are health benefits to the nursing mother, as well, which accrue the potential damage to drug sales.

Perhaps the people feeling such intense shame and fear when noticing a woman breastfeeding are responding to their powerful insecurities about our market economy. Perhaps they are, at an atavistic level, perceiving breastfeeding as a threat to the complex consumer transactions that ultimately underlay their  personal livelihood. Are they afraid that baby on the teat is the counter economic force that could ultimately Destroy the American Way of Life?

Or could it have something to do with the visible breast flesh itself? Certainly the Average American sees plenty of bra-busting boobie everywhere he looks; it's on tv, billboards, Internet, in movies, in the window of the local Victoria's secret. So why are media displayed dairy-dispatchers accepted without protest, but on a live nursing woman, some visible portion of  pushmatahas can  provoke the citizenry to moronic excess?

Following the economic thread: the media uses mammaries to sell. Breasts in the media are associated fundamentally, through hypnotic repetition,  with the efforts to move product. Free market efforts, I will point out. It seems possible that one effect of advertising  has been that  breasts are now so chronically identified with sales, that the sight of a non-media presented, partially exposed breast in a public place must be causing great confusion in some unfortunate people's minds: they have become so addled they cannot tell the difference between a woman feeding her child and a sex worker.

The solution? Nursing moms: Sell advertising space on your bosom ! That way, your breast is no longer subversive; it is being used for the purpose that has come, in our befuddled  culture-mind, to replace the breast's true biological purpose. Now, ad plastered to your tit, you are supporting the Market Economy, you are helping to sell.  And sell product that can be clearly identified as NOT  that of the sex worker, to eliminate any sad confusion.

Ad's on boobs should  calm the most sensitive observer; your public nursing will be met with the agreeable nonchalance that is now accorded a 20 foot billboard filled with the image of extruded lacto-fat. Plus, you make some extra cash: everybody wins!

Mas vamos lá, que saco, eu te dou um dado...

Saint Patrick (ou São Patrício) é um santo cristão que está para os irlandeses como Nossa Senhora da Aparecida está para os católicos brasileiros. No dia de seu falecimento, em 17 de março, é comemorado o Saint Patrick´s Day, um feriado que homenageia o missionário que converteu os irlandeses ao Cristianismo por volta de 430 anos D.C. Na América, o dia é basicamente tempo de usar a cor verde (que representa o trevo utilizado pelo missionário para simbolizar a Santíssima Trindade) e de se divertir.

A primeira celebração feita pelos imigrantes irlandeses foi em Boston, Massachusetts, em 1737. Além do significado religioso, atualmente Saint Patrick’s Day é uma data para usar a cor verde em tudo - roupas, enfeites e até mesmo em alimentos e bebidas o corante verde é utilizado, tudo em homenagem ao santo irlandês. Os Leprechauns – duendes que fazem parte do folclore irlandês são outros símbolos desta data, que representam os guardiões do pote de ouro que se encontra no fim do arco-íris. Atualmente, mais de 100 cidades americanas comemoram este dia com desfiles e muitas brincadeiras, mas, hoje em dia, a data é uma ótima desculpa para tomar cerveja verde, que dá pra encontrar em qualquer bar americano.

E aqui no Brasil, em muitas cidades, a data irlandesa/americana é utilizada como pretexto para uma festa. Nas grandes capitais, os pubs, por exemplo, abrem as portas – em plena segunda-feira – para receber beberrões fanáticos dispostos a comemorar a vitória do cristianismo sobre o paganismo naquele país britânico. E muitas escolas de inglês fazem questão de embutir em seus alunos esses resquícios de cultura internacional.

Aqui no Brasil, muita gente adora imitar os países de língua inglesa em tudo. Mas daí a querer comemorar datas que, por aqui, não fazem o menor sentido, tem dó, né? Saint Patrick´s Day, Halloween, Dia de Ação de Graças são apenas alguns exemplos de feriados comemorados nos Estados Unidos, que fazem parte do american way of life, o famoso “jeito americano de viver”. Por aqui, isso tem outro nome: obsessão americana. Fala sério! Nesse ponto eu concordo com meu amigo José Roberto, que em seu blog alfineta o fanatismo dos noticiários brasileiros pela corrida presidencial nos EUA. Te faço uma provocação: que o Carnaval brasileiro vive sendo imitado, é fato, mas será que algum americano já inventou de comemorar o Dia de São João? Se algum souber, comente aí...

Para mim, tanto Juno quanto Middlesex mostram um lado muito mais criativo e atraente da América do norte que acabamos esquecendo, já que somos todos politicamente-corretos-portanto-contra-a-guerra-do-Iraque-portanto-antiamericanos. Esse papo de antiamericanismo, aliás, já deu, né?

Mas eu queria me ater mais a Juno, mesmo. Muita gente anda comparando o filme com Pequena Miss Sunshine. Não acho que cabe tanto assim. Enquanto que no segundo a classe média americana mais uma vez é vista sob a lente de aumento realçando bizarrices e tentando desconstruir o american way of life - é uma mania do cinema independente de lá que dá megapreguiça - Juno mostra uma situação teoricamente "anormal", porém cabível, em uma família normal, com uma garota normal. Uma garota normal ótima, por sinal, carismática.

A Bravo veio dizer que "óh, meu Deus, que bela descoberta, finalmente um filme com uma adolescente que pensa". Não é bem assim. Juno é tipo os filmes de Molly Ringwald transferidos para hoje. Na época de Molly, as personagens dela tinham exatamente o mesmo efeito e ocupavam exatamente o mesmo lugar de Juno. E o engraçado é como a crítica trata Juno com espanto - porque na verdade quem está chegando perto dos 30 (ou quem já tem mais de 20) sabe muito bem que a Juno existe faz um tempão por aí, em milhares de escolas.

O filme é muito simples, muito terno, muito liberal - e nem por isso deixa de ser americano. Aí você se lembra que a América não se faz só de republicanos e respira um pouquinho mais aliviado.

Obs.: o figurino da Juno é muito cool - e o engraçado é que isso já é cool desde 2000. Juro, o Rick usa aquelas roupas desde que eu conheço ele. Ah, é, mas o Rick não é cool, ele usa blogspot.
Obs. 2: esse filme foi feito sob medida para a Bia. Tenho certeza que a Diablo pensou nisso quando tava escrevendo.

 Ontem foi um dia tingido de coloridos diferentes,  cores frias e quentes, tristeza e alegria.

De tarde, recebi um pacote. Dentro, um livro de fotos de Estocolmo, um cartão de uma delicadeza e um carinho muito grandes. Veio da Suécia, enviado por Anna e Deri, agradecendo a estada aqui em casa.

Eu os conheci na rodoviária Tietê, no guichê da Reunidas, comprando passagens para Paraty. Alguma coisa estava errada na passagem vendida à eles, mas o rapaz do guichê não os entendia. Ofereci ajuda, acertamos a questão das passagens e começamos a conversar.  Três minutos depois, já estava combinado que eles pernoitariam em minha casa, voltando à rodoviária para o embarque na manhã seguinte.
Foi em janeiro último, sábado, muita chuva, muita.

Em casa, conversamos bastante, falamos sobre é como é viver lá e aqui. Jantamos pizza e, de sobremesa, oferecemos toda a sorte de doces disponíveis na Doceria aqui perto de casa. Foi insólito quando eles começaram a tirar fotos da mesa.

Na manhã seguinte, os levamos à rodoviária, para o embarque. Em um ato de molecagem, após as despedidas, Deri jogou algum dinheiro dentro do carro, saiu correndo e entrou no elevador. Já decidi que vou doar a quantia e enviar o comprovante, eu não posso aceitar.

Voltando ao pacote, fiquei feliz. Achei carinhoso, delicado. E não vou responder por email, por emeesseene. Vou escrever um cartão, vou dizer o que não disse antes. Escrevendo e indo até o Correio, também aproveito para mandar os postais de Mekki para o Iraque, que estão na minha bolsa há um mês, desde que voltei de férias.

(Mekki também merece um post, não é todo dia que alguém larga o american way of life e se muda para o Iraque).

Estou enrolando desde ontem para escrever a resposta, não sou prolixa em língua estranha como sou em português.
Vou escrever que os espero aqui outra vez, que São Paulo é feia, mas também é linda, também é bacana, e eu gostaria de mostrar. Vou dizer que recebi muito mais do que qualquer brigadeiro e chuveiro quente que eu tenha ofertado. Aprendi que na Suécia as casas têm duas cubas na cozinha, para lavagem da louça, que o nosso café e a pizza são muito diferentes de pizza e café em qualquer outro lugar.
Escreverei que acredito que de tempos em tempos, quando as coisas estão morninhas, temos ou cavamos a oportunidade de tecer  um pouquinho de história, das nossas histórias. E eles são para mim, assim como nós para eles, um capítulo imperdível de novela.
Que me descobri boba, muito boba quando, sem pensar, ao pegar o pacote e reconhecer imediatamente a letra de Anna no envelope, soltei um ´Oh, God!´. Foi involuntário, juro.

 É por histórias assim e por tantas outras que acredito em um ditado africano: Quando um homem morre é como se uma biblioteca inteira se incendiasse.

 E enquanto eu ganhava o dia com meu pacote, perto da Cordilheira dos Andes, um camarada perdia o dia. Perdia a filha.

A bebezinha estava programada para nascer no meu aniversário, em cerca de vinte dias. Mas a mãe entrou em trabalho de parto prematuro e Luana não sobreviveu. E eu só pude dizer que não sabia o que dizer. Que a dor de perder um filho deve ser pesada demais para que se possa ser consolado. No meu egoísmo de mãe, não quero nem ouvir falar de dor como essa. Uma vez li ou ouvi que pais não devem sobreviver aos filhos, é anti-natural. Concordo com isso. Imagino que todo pai e mãe deve concordar.

Por certo, a vida continua. Inclusive para o camara, a mulher e o pequeno Inácio.
Que vai doer, pelo resto dos dias, mas haverá uma maneira de lidar com isso.

Só sei que toda vez que eu inspiro, alguém ganha o dia; toda vez que eu expiro, alguém perde e vice-versa. Toda vez que amanhece, a população mundial já não é mais a mesma. Muitos morreram, muitos nasceram, muitos estão sendo gerados.

E é por tudo isso e mais um pouco que não posso aceitar o dinheiro.
Porque algumas coisas não têm preço. E pra todas as outras eu, felizmente, não tenho um Mastercard.

(Depois explico por quê não tenho um cartão de crédito. Basicamente, porque não concebo a idéia de trabalhar para dar dinheiro de graça à alguém).

Coal Industry Plugs Into the Campaign

A group backed by the coal industry and its utility allies is waging a $35 million campaign in primary and caucus states to rally public support for coal-fired electricity and to fuel opposition to legislation that Congress is crafting to slow climate change.

The group, called Americans for Balanced Energy Choices, has spent $1.3 million on billboard, newspaper, television and radio ads in Iowa, NevadaSouth Carolina. and

Wer keine Niederlage akzeptiert, den muss man total erbarmungslos vernichten, denn das ist die einzige Moeglichkeit, um Frieden zu erreichen und zu gewaehrleisten.
Wer naemlich keine Niederlage akzeptiert, der gibt damit zu erkennen, dass er ein herrschsuechtig tyrannisch dominantes Bewusstsein hat und demzurfolge zur Wahrheit, Freudschaft, Bruederlichkeit und Gleichberechtigung unfaehig ist.
Gleichberechtigung und wirkliche Liebe gibt es fuer ihn nicht wirklich, denn das ist fuer ihn schon eine Niederlage, eine Unterlegenheit, bei der er nicht vereinnahmend dominant sein kann.

Wie wir eigentlich alle wissen sollten ueberlassen die modernen Politiker nichts mehr dem Zufall bei der Inszenierung ihrer Action - Filme und ihrer Action - Politik.

Und darum darf es auch nicht zufaellig eintreten, dass die Oeffentlichkeit entdeckt, dass es alles vorsaetzlich erzeugtes Polittheater ist. Und deswegen muss man alles Volk zwangsweise dumm halten und die, welche noch denken koennen, zum Schweigen bringen. Und damit sind wir dann genau wieder da, wo auch schon die roemische Politik des Kaisers Nero war. Und also koennen nun nur noch hoehere Gewalten wirkliche Veraenderungen zum Positiven wirken, denn was positiv ist, bestimmen dabei nicht die Politregisseure dieser Welt, da wo nur noch die Vernichtung zaehlt und als das einzig wirklich Positive gilt, denn das evolutionaer Positive ist nur noch in der totalen Vernichtung zu finden.

Alles andere ist nur dummes materialistisches Wohlstandsschweinewelttheater.

Das neueste Al Kaida Video zeigt nun Osama Bin Laden mit dem iranischen Praesidenten Ahmadinedschad wie sie in einer geheimen iranischen Atomwaffenschmiede an einer tragbaren Atombombe fuer "Selbstmord-Terroristen" arbeiten.

Herren und Damen,

was wird darauf folgen.?

Drei mal duerfen Sie raten. So klug wie G. W. Bush sind Sie doch auch, und seit dem 11. September 2001 sind doch auch Sie alle Amerikaner.

Und nachdem dadurch der USA - Krieg gegen den Iran im vollen Gange war, stellten die Geheimdienste fest, dass dies ein gefaelschtes Video war, was daran zu erkennen war, dass in einer Ecke des Raumes Jassir Arafat als Waechter mit seiner Maschinenpistole sass; was die USA und ihre Verbuendeten allerdings nicht dazu veranlasste, den von ihnen begonnenen Krieg als Fehler einzugestehen, sondern ganz im Gegenteil als das einzig Richtige; denn auch der Iran ist, ob mit oder ohne gefaelschtes Video, das Boese, und die Luegner und Betrueger, Irrefuehrer und wahnsinnigen Westmaechtigen und Herrscher wie G. W. Bush sind und bleiben fuer alle Irren das einzig Gute auf Erden. Und am derzeit noch aktiven Isalm wird erkennbar, dass Friedrich Nietzsche Unrecht hatte. Gott ist naemlich immer noch nicht tot, aber die USA und Europa arbeiten weiter daran, ihn umzubringen und zu beseitigen bis dass die ganze Welt in der totalen Geistlosigkeit ruiniert versinkt.

Es ist alles in allem nur noch von Amerika weltweit inszeniertes Polittheater, das Osama Bin Laden - Video, die Schwaechebekenntnisse des irakischen Praesidenten Maliki, der Rapport des Generals Petraeus...

Das Drehbuch wurde von G. W. Bush geschrieben und verteilt, damit die Akteure nicht auch noch wie der Hauptdarsteller Bush selber unverzeihliche Patzer und eigenmaechtige Ansichten von sich geben. Aber auch das wird wieder einmal zu keinem Erfolg fuehren, sondern nur das Chaos vergroessern und den Untergang der USA beschleunigen.

Die Machthaber der USA sind wirklich total unverantwortliche bekloppte Grossverbrecher. Sie glauben sie koennten die Welt wie einen Hollywood – Film vorherbestimmed inszenieren und abspielen.

Sie befinden sich in einem noch viel groesseren Wahn als dermaleinst der roemische Kaiser Nero oder der babynolische Grosskoenig Nebukadnezar.

Sie sind aller Logik und Vernunft verlustig gegangen.

Sie haben die Wahrheit gehasst und leben und handeln nun nur noch in dem sie ruinierenden Wahn.

Bush: Bin-Laden-Video belegt Notwendigkeit des Irakeinsatzes

AFP - Samstag, 8. September, 17:47 UhrSydney (AFP) - US-Präsident George W. Bush hat das neu aufgetauchte Video von El-Kaida-Chef Osama bin Laden als Beweis für die Notwendigkeit des US-Einsatzes im Irak bewertet. Die Videobotschaft beweise, dass der Irak "Teil dieses Krieges gegen Extremisten ist", sagte Bush in Sydney. Bin Laden ruft in dem Band kurz vor dem sechsten Jahrestag der Anschläge vom 11. September 2001 unter anderem zur Abschaffung des demokratischen Regierungssystems in den USA auf.

Die US-Geheimdienste sind nach ersten eingehenden Untersuchungen des Videos von dessen Authentizität weitgehend überzeugt. "Das Band ist eine Erinnerung daran, in was für einer gefährlichen Welt wir leben", sagte Bush in Sydney am Rande des Asiatisch-Pazifischen Wirtschaftsforums (APEC).

In seiner wöchentlichen Radioansprache kündigte Bush an, kommende Woche seine "Vision der Zukunft unseres Engagements im Irak" der US-Bevölkerung in einer direkten Ansprache vorzustellen. Zuvor sollen der Kommandeur der US-Streitkräfte im Irak, General David Petraeus, und der US-Botschafter in Bagdad, Ryan Crocker, ihren Lagebericht zum Irak im US-Kongress vorstellen.

In dem ihm zugeschriebenen Video spricht Bin Laden von zwei Lösungen für eine Beendigung des Irak-Kriegs, heißt es in einer Mitschrift des US-Instituts SITE. Die erste Lösung laute, damit "fortzufahren, das Töten und den Kampf gegen euch auszuweiten". Die zweite Lösung sei, dass die USA ihr demokratisches Regierungssystem aufgeben: "Die Unfähigkeit des demokratischen Systems und die Art und Weise, wie es mit dem Blut der Menschen spielt, ist nunmehr der Welt und euch klargeworden." Die US-Bevölkerung rief Bin Laden abschließend auf, zum Islam überzutreten.

Bin Laden sagt in dem Video, die USA seien "schwach trotz ihrer scheinbaren Stärke". Obwohl die USA die größte Wirtschaftsmacht der Welt und mit den modernsten Waffen ausgerüstet seien, hätten 19 junge Männer "die Richtung ihres Kompasses ändern" können, betonte der El-Kaida-Chef in Anspielung auf die Anschläge vom 11. September.

Bush verwechselt OPEC und APEC

AP - Freitag, 7. September, 14:55 UhrSydney (AP) US-Präsident George W. Bush hatte am Freitag nicht seinen besten Tag. Bei einer Rede in Sydney am Randes des Asiatisch-Pazifische Wirtschaftsforums (APEC) verwechselte er zunächst APEC und OPEC. Und das blieb nicht sein einziger Versprecher.

«Danke, dass Sie ein so guter Gastgeber für den OPEC-Gipfel sind», sagte Bush an den australischen Ministerpräsidenten John Howard gewandt. Der US-Präsident korrigierte sich schnell und versuchte zu scherzen, Howard habe ihn zum OPEC-Gipfel im kommenden Jahr eingeladen. Das allerdings ist schlecht möglich, da weder Australien noch die USA Mitglied der OPEC sind, der Organisation Erdöl exportierender Staaten.

Den nächsten Patzer bemerkte Bush dann offenbar nicht. Als er eine Reise von Howard im vergangenen Jahr in den Irak erwähnte, machte er die australischen Soldaten kurzerhand zu Österreichern (»Austrian»). Im offiziellen Redetext des Weißen Hauses wurde der Versprecher korrigiert.

Nach seinem Vortrag eilte Bush von dannen - allerdings in die falsche Richtung: Auf diesem Weg erwartete ihn das plötzliche Ende der Bühne. Howard und andere dirigierten den US-Präsidenten schnell zur Treppe, über die er das Podium schließlich verließ.

In der westlichen Demokratie haben die Menschen schon so viel Angst, dass sie gar nicht mehr demonstrieren gehen.
In Russland hingegen gibt es noch so viel Mut und Freiheit, dass man demonstriert.

Was glauben Sie denn was in Deutschland geschehen wuerde, wenn Tausende massiv fuer die Absetzung der bestehenden Regierung demonstrieren wuerden.???
Ich sage es Ihnen.: Es wuerde nicht nur massiv gepruegelt, es wuerde auch scharf geschossen werden. Denn schon in den 90er Jahren wurden in Paris demonstrierende Krankenschwestern von den Sicherheitskraeften brutalst krankenhausreif geschlagen und in Montpellier marschierten Polizeibrigaden mit in Stellung gebrachten Gewehren diese auf die demonstrierenden Buerger gerichtet in der Innenstadt auf dem Place de la Comedie auf, um eine Demonstration der kleinen Einzelhaendler zu verhindern.
Und so koennte man in Europa die Tagesschauen mit derartigen Filmen fuellen.
Derzeit sind die europaeischen Voelker so derart eingeschuechtert und veraengstigt, dass sie es nicht einmal in einem Internetforum wagen eine wirkliche politische Kritik zu aeussern.

Europa ist also weltweit das totalitaerste System ( Regime ), allerdings sehr verborgen und psychologisch klug, denn auch die Diktatur hat in Europa eine ganz andere neue Dimension angenommen.

DEMONSTRATIONSFREIHEIT. ???
DEMONSTRATIONSFREIHEIT ERFORDERT GEIST.

Warum demonstrieren Mastschweine nicht gegen ihre Gutsherren.?
Und genau deswegen demonstrieren die Europaeer auch nicht gegen ihre Unterdrueckerregierungen.
So einfach ist das mit der DEMONSTRATIONSFREIHEIT IN DER FREIHEITLICHEN DEMOKRATIE.
Dumme Mastschweine demonstreiren nie, die sind sogar noch stolz, wenn sie dann als Mettwurst mit Praedikat elegant im Frischhalteschrank ordentlich zusammenliegen und davon traeumen neue Mettwurstkinder zu kriegen.
