My Poor Baby!

Aiden had his 6 month Dr. appointment this afternoon. Everything is in tip top shape and he is quite the Average Joe measuring in the 50% for all his stats - and we thought he was huge, compared to James who was regularly in the 5% for most things he is pretty sturdy. The pediatrician laid down the law that there was to be no more helping him along to sleep and he needed to face the hard truth that he was old enough and big enough to fall asleep on his own and not require 3-4 feedings a night. So..... this is shaping up to be one ugly weekend, a whole lotta crying, and a whole lotta Ben and Jerrys. Stay tuned for that nail biter! And, to brighten things up, after being told what is to come of his poor sleep habits he got 2 shots - poor little bugger!

6 Months at The Harvest Room

Today is our 6 month anniversary. So on Sunday we went all out and had dinner at the Harvest Room in the Hotel MacDonald. We got all dressed up and prepared for a very extravagant evening.

The service was really good and we were treated very well. We started with a lobster risotto, which was a bit of an adventure for Brittani. But it was very tasty: rich and creamy. We were then served a sample of pureed potatoes topped with lamb and pickle. Oooweee! It was very tasty, not even a spoonful and it was amazing! Then I had lamb and osso buco. The lamb was unreal! Oh man! It was so good! I don’t think it’s a stretch to say it’s the best meal I’ve ever had. Brittani had the roast chicken breast and said it was very good. I didn’t actually steal any off her plate... We finished with a cherry cheesecake for her and creme brulee for me. They were both quite delicious!

By this time, we were stuffed. So we went to go walk around the hotel. It was beautiful. Very extravagant, but absolutely gorgeous! We followed that with a little trip down the legislature; I presented her with her gift. She seemed excited and surprised and to really like it. And then she gave me a slideshow of almost all of the pictures we’ve ever taken together! Wow!

It was just a great night and an absolutely amazing meal!

Hello, I haven't had a wordpress contest in a while so here it is.

The object of this contest is to guess how old my penguin (theflame12) is.

Storyboards

Storyboards are a collection of images in a "collage" on one print or canvas.

These samples are storyboards for gallery wraps.

A gallery wrap is a fine art canvas printed slightly larger than the requested size, then wrapped around a wooden frame, and secured to the back. It comes ready to hang with a protective spray coat finish and you don't frame it! :)

Meggan Hathaway is trying to sell this horse... named "Absolut Detail." This is a 5x30 storyboard, gallery wrap format.

This is a 20x24 gallery wrap proof - has a vintage look, right? :)

This last one is a baby storyboard. A small collection of images from this baby's 6-month portrait session.
