Rap superstar 50 CENT is outraged by fast food company Taco Bell's "sleazy" bid to land him for an advertising campaign, and is threatening legal action.

The firm offered to make a $10,000 (GBP5,000) donation to a charity of 50 Cent's choice if he agreed to change his name for one day. They stipulated he must stop by one of the chain's restaurants and rap his order at the drive-thru window - using a new moniker: 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent.

But the star is not amused. A rep tells OK! magazine, "This is a sleazy and ill-conceived publicity stunt by Taco Bell's president, Greg Creed, whose disingenuous offer was leaked to the press before it was even presented to 50 Cent's agent yesterday."

And 50 Cent himself warns, "When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: 'We messed with the bull and got the horns!'"

Eu fui em mais enterros nesse terceiro ano que em toda minha vida. Até aí tudo bem: assim como eu estou ficando velha (alô, me lembra) também estão meus conhecidos e familiares e gente velha morre. Mas eu não planejava descobrir tão cedo que enterros são o terreno mais prolífico pra toda sorte de idéias idiotas do mundo. Estava eu e um colega outro dia, narrando um enterro, e entramos nos méritos da questão da segurança nacional. E eu me superei, inventando o plástico bolha.

-Err... isso já foi inventado, tipo, nos anos 50, sei lá.
-Eu falei que eu ia parar de escrever or causa desse leitor bicão, produção, tira esse rapaz daqui, faz favor.

Claro seu idiota! Mas não estou falando de proteção contra o impacto, estou falando de proteção contra gasngstas cheios de correntes e furos de balas.

O plástico bolha exerce um fascínio universal. Ninguém resiste a estourar aquela porra. Daí, você, ladrão gótico tá lá, no cemitério, cavando um buraco pra roubar um rim e BANG: plástico bolha em volta do caixão. Você não resiste e começa a estourar, como é um envoltório relativamente grande - e é claramente contra as regras estourar mais de um por vez - você não consegue terminar até o amanhecer. Daí passam uns skinheads na rua, fazendo sua corrida matinal, e te batem tanto que você passa a precisar realmente da maquiagem que você usa sem motivo. Mais um rim dorme intacto...

The folks over @ MediaTakeOut.Com are reporting that Eminem will be featured on the new G.Unit album out this summer. U know, now that someone has to take Young Bucks place. Why Not him. Wouldn't that be an upgrade. According to them and the insider, Em might be out promoting the album with 50. U know doing the whole performances and tv shit.

I always got good tips... A. Because I never felt like I deserved one, and B. because I worked hard to earn one.

Somehow we have gotten to the point that a tip is expected, and not earned.   I reject that notion... Please note I do tip at every sit down meal.  But if your service sucks your tip sucks.  If it takes you 15 minutes to refill my drink, and when you do you are carrying the glass with your finger inside... (like what happened at this nameless restaurant) then your tip is really going to suck.

We need to reclaim the power of the tip.  bad service = a bad tip (oops try this one),  good service = Good tip.  Back when I waited tables a customer gave me a $45 because I went next door and bought them a $2 bag of pretzels when my restaurant had run out of "bar snacks."  That tip was just for the pretzels never mind all the drinks and food I brought them during the 3 hours they occupied my booth.  They left happy and I bought a PlayStation with thier tips.

I know, I know, what about problems in the kitchen, or being short staffed, or having to many tables in different sections... I get it.  You can't control everything.  But Let me know that problems exist.  DO NOT WHINE OR COMPLAIN, just say something like "I am going to put your order in now but the kitchen is a little backed up would you like some rolls or salad?"  or "someone called out tonight so I have a few more tables then normal, I will keep checking in but do not hesitate to grab me or any other waiter."  Then you do need to work harder to make sure everyone is a least comfortable, drinks are always full, bread or salad to make sure the people aren't starving, and just simply don't ignore them... Especially when they look upset.  That is when you turn on the charm and earn your tip.

Some people will just be unpleaseable.  and some will be cheap.  You can't help that.  Just keep smiling (a lost art in itself) and perhaps the happy customer behind you will be a little more gracious.

Ca să terminăm mai repede cu partea asta, poţi vedea scan-urile pe site-ul GTA IV News, chit că nu prea impresionează la aşa calitate - tot mai bine arată trailer-ul. Acelaşi website oferă şi câteva detalii succinte despre joc, însă pentru o porţie mai zdravănă am apelat la Planet GTA.

Alte detalii relatate de GTA IV News ar mai fi că vei putea folosi telefonul celular pentru a-ţi suna "contactele"; pietonii se vor comporta mai realistic (pot să ia loc pe scaune, să fumeze, să citească etc.); şi cel mai important, după primul ecran de loading, jocul nu va mai face pauze de încărcare - nici măcar la intrarea / ieşirea din clădiri.    Restu...las la aprecierea voastra
