Hello and welcome to another episode of “The Daily Dose Of Information”. Today’s episode is another one on sports and it is episode 5. I am doing another one on sports as the biggest cycling event just kicked off yesterday - The Tour De France 2008. So I am going to get you up to date on it.

I hope you all had a great time watching the Tennis finals yesterday. I got 2 of my predictions right yesterday, one wrong and one left. I only got the Woman's Doubles Final wrong. Today, I am waiting for the Gentleman's Single Final. Anyways... this episode is specifically on Cycling.

So without further ado, I present to you episode 5 of "The Daily Dose Of Information", right after this.

The 2008 Tour de France is the 95th Tour de France. The event will take place from July 5 to July 27, 2008. Starting in the French city of Brest, the tour will enter Italy on the 15th stage and return to France during the 16th, heading for Paris, its regular final destination, which will be reached in the 21st stage. All time bonuses for intermediate sprints and at each stage finish line have been scrapped.

This year it is going to be close between Cadel Evans and Alejandro Valverde. Who knows, maybe even Denis Menchov or Carlos Sastre can be in the fray for the yellow jersey. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

UPDATE: Alejandro Valverde won yesterday's first stage. He came in first across the finish line and now holds the yellow jersey.

Venus and Serena Williams, took everything at the women's side, by also winning the Doubles Crown by defeating Lisa Raymond/Samantha Stosur 6-2 6-2 in less than 1 hour =)

To all the critics about the Williams' Sisters, and all Belgians or haters, the Williams sisters are great champions, the best of the last generation, and aren't quiters like Justine Henin. So please stop bullshiting around, because you all are losers, Including the Belgian arrogant newspapers.

Serena Williams started the match with a force that Venus Williams couldn't deal with at first, slowed Serena Williams was playing less good and Venus Williams stepped it up, but winning the first set.

In the second set, Venus Williams played like in the beginning, very solid, and aggressive, earning her the title 7-5 6-4 in 1h51.

Aprovechando bien el quinto día. Nos despertamos a las 10 de la mañana, nos hicimos unos bocadillos y salimos.

Cogimos el autobús en el centro de Reikjavik y nos bajamos a las fueras.Aqui empieza la aventura, otra vez a hacer autostop………. Y no con la misma suerte del otro día, tras 1 hora esperando conseguimos que nos llevasen unos 40km  el otro día fue la cara hoy era la cruz, no hubo suerte y los planes se rompieron en vez de ver el glaciar y 3 cataratas solo pudimos ver 2 cataratas…otro día habra más suerte

Seguimos y tras 3 horas de espera  y de viaje, una pareja de islandeses nos recoge y nos dicen que pueden llevarnos hasta en Hella (a unos 40 km de la cascada), durante el viaje nos dijeron que habían recorrido España, desde Galicia, País Vasco, Barcelona hasta valencia…  es sorprendente como  todos los islandeses han estado sino en Madrid en  Barcelona, valencia… no se salva ni uno de momento….. Durante el viaje nos preguntó si habíamos visto la catarata urridafoss que se encontraba escondida tras una carretera secundaria  de pueblo sin asfaltar , le dijimos que no y nos llevaron allí, como veis la gente de aquí es muy amable.

Tras dejarnos en Hella una joven islandesa que trabajaba en una granja cerca de skógafoss  nos invito  al coche y nos llevó hasta la misma cascada,  (también había estado en España xD).

La cascada impresionante!! Si la del otro día era fantástica esta lo es si no más , igual .

Küresel Emperyalizmin yeni düşmanları

Türkiye´yi bugünlerde çalkalayan, toplumu yine ikiye ayıran Ergenekon Soruşturmasını iyi analiz etmek gerekiyor. Yani devlet iktidarını kontrol altına almayı hedefleyen bu çete neyin nesidir?

Ergenekon yeni bir mesele değildir. Yıllardır Türkiye´de var olan, az sayıda insanın haberdar olduğu bir meseledir. Hatta önceleri Alparslan Türkeş ve Abdullah Çatlı´nın bile ismi geçtiği yapılanmayı anlamak için Soğuk Savaş zamanlarına geri dönmek gerekiyor.

1950li yıllarda NATO, CİA ve Mİ6 “Gladyo“ isminde bir gizli örgüt kurarlar ve yaklaşık 40 sene Yunanistan, Türkiye ve Batıavrupa ülkerinde faaliyetler gösterirler. Bu örgütün elemanları genellikle toplumu kışkırtmak için çeşitli faaliyetler düzenlerler ve etkili oldukları ülkede gerekirse rejimi çökertirler.

Soğuk Savaş zamanında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (ABD) özellikle Avrupa Ülkelerinde ajanlar yerleştirme çabasına girer. Asker içinde gizli örgütler kurulur. ABD`nin amaçları doğrultusunda sivil toplum kuruluşları, thing-thang´ler kurulur. Bu şekilde Amerika, CİA ayağı ile tüm dünyada solculara karşı bir akım eğitmiştir. Kontrol ettikleri devletlerin Rusya ile bağlantılarını kesebilmek için gizli çeteler harıl harıl çalıştırılmıştır. Bu yapılanmalar Gladyo yapılanmalarıdır.

Soğuk Savaş sona erdikten sonra, Avrupa ülkerinin birçoğunda Gladyo yapılanmaları çökertilmiştir. ABD ise kendi gücünü muhafaza edebilmek için yeni düşmanlar „yaratmak“ zorunda kaldı. Nitekim hiç bir devlet düşmansız ayakta duramaz. Düşmansız bir devlet gücünü kaybetmeye mahkumdur. Yok olmamak için, halkı rejime bağlamak, daha doğrusu rejimden bağımlı hale getirebilmek için, onu korkutmak gerekir. Korkutmak için düşman birebirdir. ABD´de Rusya´nın ekonomik, siyasi ve askeri gücünün yıkılmasıyla beraber, en büyük düşmanını kaybetmiş bulunuyordu. Yeni bir düşman arayışına girmek zorundaydı. Bu arayış çabuk sonuçlandı: İslam.

İslamı tüm dünyaya öcü olarak göstermek için 90lı yıllarda düğmeye basıldı. CİA maaşlı Samuel Huntington zaten başlangıcı yapmıştı. Ardından bir çok karanlık „aydın“ işini başarıyla yerine getirdi. Bazı devletlerde özel olarak müslüman görünümlü „radikal dinci grupları“ kuruldu ve eğitildi. Bin Ladin ve ekibi dahi Soğuk Savaş´ta ABD´nin can yoldaşı değil miydi?

Türkiye hariç tüm müslüman ülker bu şekilde hem öcü haline getirildi, hemde sonunda ABD´nin kukla devletleri haline geldiler… yine Türkiye hariç…

Peki neden Türkiye hariç?

Memleketimizi çok sevdiklerinden mi?

Yoksa çayına, suyuna, simitine, çayırına bayıldıklarından mı?

Elbetteki değil. Gerçek neden, Türkiye´nin sosyo-kültürel şartları yukarıda belirtilen „oynamalara“ müsait olmadığı için. Bu nedenle Türkiye için özel bir proje hazırlandı: Gladyo Projesi. Eski bir CİA yetkilisinin CNN´de yaptığı bir açıklamaya göre, Soğuk Savaş döneminde Rusya´da Amerika´nın üç bin tane ajanı varmış. Sovyetler dağılınca bunların hepsi Türkiye´ye gönderilmiş.

İşte „Kenan Evren Darbesi“nden sonra tohumları atılan Ergenekon çetesi, Gladyo´dan başka birşey değildir. Ergenekon, Gladyo´nun Türkiye ayağıdır.

Başörtü, Türban, Şeriat, Kemalizm, İrtica, Laiklik, Kürtçülük ve Ilımlı İslam terimleriyle Türkiye´yi 20 senedir yıpratan Küresel Emperyalistler, önce Gladyo´yu Türkiye´ye yerleştirdirler ve eğittiler. Şimdide son darbeyi vurabilmek için, birileri kendi örgütlerini deşifre etmeye başladılar.

İki senedir Türkiye´nın altını üstüne getiren Gladyo yapılanmasının hasarına bir bakalım: Şemdili olayları, bayrak yakmalar, papaz cinayeti, danıştay cinayeti, misyonerlerin yayın evi baskını, imam cinayeti, Hrant Dink cinayeti, Cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimleri nedeniyle yaratılan kaos vs. vs.

Peki Ergenekon´un tam bu zamanda deşifre edilmesin gerekçeleri nedir? Bunu açıklamak şuan zor… çünkü ortada henüz yanıtlanmamış önemli sorular var:

1. Bu iş kimin işine yarıyor? Yani Mahir Kaynak vari sormak gerekir. Sebep-Sonuç ilişkisine bakmak gerekiyor. Kimin işine yaradığı henüz pek berrak görünmüyor, fakat kimlerin işine yaramadığı açık ve net ortada:

Öncelikle Tayyip Erdoğan´a hiç yaramıyor. Çünkü bu soruşturma üzerinden ilk başta Başbakan Erdoğan yıpratılıyor. Buda açıkca, bazı medya örgütlerinin belirttiği gibi, „AKP´nin hesaplaşması“ olmadığını ispatlıyor.

İkinci olarak Türk halkı yıpratılıyor. Yukarıda saydığım olaylardan dolayı zaten yıpranmış olan halk, Cumhurbaşkanlığı seçimi ve AKP davasıyla adeta ortadan yarıldı ve 80li yılların sağ-sol çatışmasında olduğu gibi, dindar-laik bölünmesi gerçekleştirilmek istenildi. Ergenekon soruşturması ve bu soruşturmayla ilgili göz altına alınan tanınmış şahsiyetler yüzünden, bu soruşturma adeta “AKP´nin geri vuruşu” gibi gösterildiği için, bölünmeye bir adım daha atılmıştır. Böylece muhtemel bir darbeye yol açılmış olacaktır.

Üçüncüsü, gittikçe AB´ye yaklaşan Türkiye´yi o yoldan, hatta o düşünceden uzaklaştırmak. Türkiye´nin AB´ye girmesinden en çok rahatsız olan kesim, nitekim ulusalcılar ve bizzat ABD´dir.

Demek ki, bu işten en çok faydalananlar, Türk halkını kutuplaştırmak ve AB´den ayırmak isteyenlerdir.

2. Taraf Gazetesine bu bilgileri kim sızdırıyor? Savcı mi bilgileri sızdırıyor? Daha yeni kurulmuş bir gazete bu bilgileri nereden alıyor? Dahada önemlisi: karşılık olarak ne veriliyor?

3. İddianamesi bile ortada olmayan bir soruşturma yüzünden onlarca insan göz altına alındı. Buda açıklanabilinecek bir durum değildir ve demokrasiyle örtüşmez. Acaba hakikaten bu insanların hepsinin Ergenekon çetesiyle irtibatları var mı? Eğer yoksa ve olmadıkları ortaya çıkarsa, yine en büyük darbeyi AKP yiyecek. Çünkü gözaltına alınan isimlerin tamamı AKP karşıtı şahışlar.

Başa dönelim….

Orta doğuda cirit atan küresel emperyalistler, ABD ve yandaşları Türkiye için hazırladıkları projenin sonuna mi geldiler? Neo-Con yapılanması Türkiye için son kozlarını mı oynuyor? Yoksa neden, kendi elleriyle kurdukları Ergenekon çetesini deşifre ediyorlar.

Ergenekon çetesi Gladyo türü yapılanma olduğuna göre, Eski Jandarma Genel Komutanı Şener Eruygur'un, İstanbul'da Fenerbahçe Orduevi'ndeki ofisinde bulunan “Darbe eylem planı”da hiç şaşırtıcı değil. Bu eylem planında geçen hedeflere sıra sıra göz atalım:

1. Ekonominin kötüye gittiğini gösteren anketler yapılacak
2. Anketler Medya üzerinden kamuoyuna duyurulacak.
3. Temmuz ayında siyasi cinayetler işlenecek.
4. Cineyetleri eski JİTEM elemanlarından oluşturulan 30 kişilik özel bir örgüt işleyecek.
5. Yargı yıpratılacak.
6. 6 Temmuz´da tam 20 ilde ulusalcılar „Yargıya Sahip Çık“ mitingleri düzenleyecekler.
7. Mitinglerde polisle çatışmalar olacak.
8. Darbe yapılacak.
9. Şahsi kasasından 3 Milyon Euro çıkan Ankara Ticaret Odası Başkanı Sinan Aygün parti kuracak ve Başbakan olacak

Ayrıca kimin cumhurbaşkanı olacağıda açıkca belirtilmesi, son derece şaşırtıcı.

Yasal dışı, şiddet içerikli, gerekirse silahlı ve bombalı, ahlaksız ve sinsice eylemlerle bu milleti yıpratan Ergenekon çetesinin üzerine gidilmeli. “Darbe eylem planı” hazırlayan bu terör örgütü çökertilmeli…. fakat hakiki faillerde ortaya çıkarılmalı.

Si dice che se si vuole combattere usando il Taijiquan non bisogna mettere il naso fuori di casa prima di 10 anni almeno (tempo che presumo corrisponda ad un'allenamento "alla cinese" e cioè almeno 10 durissime ore al giorno minimo, ndt.). Apprendere la vera essenza del Taijiquan richiede tempo, dedizione ed un buon maestro.

Tuttavia anche essendo in possesso di questi requisiti, raggiungere il "Gong fu" (traducibile pressapoco con "abilità") non è una strada rettilinea, ma tortuosa, lunga e piena di imprevisti.

La via del Taijiquan non è quindi facile e rettilinea, e va affrontata un passo dopo l'altro. Un problema...una soluzione e così via. Soltanto il sacrificio e la dedizione portano al "Gong fu". Chi non è disposto a fare ciò non potrà acquisire una buona conoscenza.

Per capire a quale punto del cammino si è arrivati si può ricorrere alla "teoria delle 5 abilità", che sono tuttavia delle tappe non definite in maniera assoluta e in ognuna delle quali la permanenza dipende esclusivamente dall'impegno e dallo studio del praticante.

Normally a movie about a pregnant woman would go on a list of things never to watch, like sports news or fly fishing tournaments. However, Juno was an award winning movie that was supposed to be extraordinarily well written. I am all about the writing.

First. Let me say that the overall experience of the movie was really good. The writing was good, the directing was good, the production values matched, the settings were good, the acting was appropriate. The story's premise is still inherently wrong and immoral and disgusting. There isn't a way to get past that. The movie scoring a 2/10 in my personal ratings, shows it must have been phenomenally well done.

Scooting aside what I thought, Juno has some really big flaws. Like where does she get all that money? Seriously? 3 pregnancy tests and a gallon of Sunny D? That's like $30 right there. She drives an hour out to the boonies and back in a station wagon. That's like 8 gallons of gas. Sure the movie is from last year when gas wasn't more than $4 per gallon, but still. Juno buys Bleeker a case of TicTacs. I don't know what the case discount is, but a box of TicTacs is more than a dollar. Juno is always drinking on something non-water. Slushies or whatever. Those are $3-5 each in that multi-quart size. And she's always eating. Junk food, but always eating--- not eating at home, but at the mall or quickie marts or whatever. I didn't have a couple hundred bucks a week when I wasn't working and was just barely 16.

Some spoilers.

Another really huge problem I had with this movie is the slam on the adoptive dad when he bails. I don't see why we should think of him as the villain. It's easy for a nebulous decision about the future to bite you on the behind when it comes true but you never thought it would. "Everyone knows" that it's almost impossible to adopt a healthy white baby. So I could see a man saying, "Sure, Honey. Put an ad in." while thinking nothing would ever come of it. I was really appalled by how little space that man's life, hopes, and dreams were allowed to have in that big house. If they'd had a smaller house, he wouldn't have had to forego so many things--- but then the adoptive mother's baby!baby!baby! dreams would have been crushed. There really isn't a compromise when something is an either-or decision. But the way the movie presented it, the adoptive dad was an evil bastard who is ruining the dreams of his wife. There was a lot of indications throughout that the wife was a controlling bitch who couldn't allow anyone else to be happy, but then suddenly that constant pressure she'd been applying was all right. I didn't see it that way. I saw it as a case where the adoptive father should have spoken up a long time before it got to that point, but putting up with things until the breaking point is part of that stoic expectation society still has for men.

I was really appalled that Juno hurt Bleeker's feelings. I was really appalled that people have unprotected sex in this century. I was really appalled that Juno's parents weren't more upset with her and there didn't seem to be any sort of punishment for really lousy judgment. (See reference above about endless spending money and gas money.) I was even more upset that Bleeker didn't want his parents told and they were not. And I really really really disliked the ending where they sat on the stoop and sang some stupid song.

It was well written as a movie, but the story had the moral equivalent of someone who stomps kitten skulls for pleasure, so I cannot recommend it. Sick sick sick sick sick sick sick. It's really too bad people with that kind of talent couldn't have focussed it upon a story that deserves telling.

Commentary: I was almost not going to review this because it was such a non-event in my reading line-up... just look at that cover! The cover basically tells you everything you need to know about this book.

I'm not going to say the sex scenes were badly written, but nothing really happened for me. I didn't feel the chemistry. Some parts just seemed so outrageous that I couldn't focus on the actual story because all I could think of was "he has an extra appendage on his penis?! What the hell?!?!?!"

I have to give the author kudos for an interesting idea. Her "demon" world seems to be built on a lot of Ancient Chinese culture. Places had names like "Thousand Plum Blossom Street" and "Tea House of Lovely Chrysanthemums" and things like that. Corum's teacher's name was Master Ping.

Not a horrible way to waste a half-hour. Don't buy it though.
