Hejhej folks, vet jeg ikke har skrivd på en goood stund, men skal prøve å begynne igjen.
Litt oppdatering, jeg har slutta på skolen, og har begynt å jobbe! Hos en Fotograf i Sarpsborg som heter Marion Haslien, http://www.haslien.no/ . Har ikke helt begynt å jobbe der, men begynner om en uke elr no. Har vært der noen dager, hjulpet til å ta bilder av produkter og vært i oslo å tatt bilder av noen folk til bedriften dems. Morro altså.

Nå er jeg i Enebakk hos min elskling Christopher <3 Skal til besteforeldrene han i Oslo senere i dag, oxo til flateby i morra tror jeg.

26 Torino Film Festival

TORINO 26
ovvero il Concorso internazionale lungometraggi è la sezione principale del Festival, dedicata alla ricerca e alla scoperta dei nuovi autori del cinema contemporaneo. Quest’anno saranno 15 i lavori, di cui 8 opere prime, a concorrere al premio per il Miglior film (euro 25.000), al Premio speciale della Giuria (euro 10.000), e ai Premi per la migliore attrice e per il migliore attore. Il cinema europeo è presente con 7 titoli provenienti da Germania, Belgio, Slovenia (e 3 coproduzioni Francia/Germania, Irlanda/Gran Bretagna, Portogallo/Brasile), 3 titoli dagli Stati Uniti, 1 dal Messico, 1 coproduzione Cile/Brasile, 1 titolo dal Canada, 1 dall’Australia e 1 dalla Cina.

FUORI CONCORSO
la sezione si propone come sintesi degli spunti cinematografici più significativi dell’anno. Senza preclusioni né verso il cinema spettacolare né verso la ricerca rigorosa, e con un’attenzione costante e particolare al lavoro più recente dei registi che sono stati importanti nella storia del Festival e, in generale, del cinema indipendente di ogni paese. 22 i titoli, in anteprima italiana, europea o mondiale.

LO STATO DELLE COSE
è una sorta di ‘contenitore’ destinato ogni anno a un tema diverso: può trattarsi di volta in volta di una cinematografia nazionale che si afferma, di un genere che risorge con improvvisa vitalità, o di un argomento che accomuna cineasti diversi, come quest’anno la politica. 15 i titoli proposti, che concorreranno al “Premio Maurizio Collino – Uno sguardo ai giovani” (euro 2.500).

LA ZONA
inaugurata lo scorso anno, conferma e rafforza la sua caratteristica di essere la sezione in cui l’istinto di ricerca del festival si concentra nei territori del cinema meno allineato alle traiettorie convenzionali. Una selezione di 34 opere di vario formato e metraggio, cui si aggiungono l’omaggio a Stephen Dwoskin (3 titoli), quello a Ken Jacobs (3 titoli) e la retrospettiva dedicata al regista giapponese Koji Oguri (5 titoli).

INTERNAZIONALE.DOC
è una nuova sezione, non competitiva, dedicata al cinema documentario proveniente da tutto il mondo, spazio privilegiato e puntuale di riflessione sulle tante possibili forme del cinema documentario. Sono 13 i titoli scelti, tutti inediti in Italia.

ITALIANA.DOC
12 i titoli di medio e lungometraggio per il concorso dedicato al documentario italiano, una delle sezioni centrali del Festival. I lavori concorrono al Premio per il Miglior documentario italiano in collaborazione con Persol (euro 10.000) e al Premio speciale della Giuria (euro 5.000). Al suo interno il FUORI CONCORSO DOC con 1 titolo.

ITALIANA.CORTI
sezione competitiva che presenta 13 titoli, fra i più significativi della recente produzione italiana, che concorrono per il Miglior cortometraggio italiano in collaborazione con Lancia (euro 10.000) e al Premio speciale della Giuria / Kodak Short Film Award (euro 5.000 in pellicola cinematografica).

L’AMORE DEGLI INIZI
con l’attenzione rivolta a 6 esordi italiani di fine anni Settanta e inizio Novanta, la sezione propone i primi film di Giuseppe Bertolucci, Claudio Caligari, Peter Del Monte, Marco Tullio Giordana, Salvatore Piscicelli e Paolo Virzì; al termine di ciascuna proiezione avrà luogo un incontro tra i registi e Nanni Moretti.

Le 3 RETROSPETTIVE di TORINO FILM FESTIVAL 2008 sono dedicate rispettivamente:

a JEAN-PIERRE MELVILLE, di cui verranno proposti tutti i 13 film, in copia restaurata cui si aggiunge 1 documentario a lui dedicato (in anteprima europea) da Olivier Boiler;

a ROMAN POLANSKI, di cui verranno proposti tutti i lungometraggi e cortometraggi (per un totale di 28 titoli), 3 dei film in cui ha recitato in ruoli importanti (2 diretti da Andrzej Wajda e Una pura formalità di Tornatore), alcune pubblicità da lui dirette, e 2 ‘making of’ sui set di Tess e Macbeth, cui si aggiunge 1 documentario a lui dedicato (in anteprima italiana) da Marina Zenovich;

alla BRITISH RENAISSANCE movimento cinematografico inglese degli anni 1980-1990, con 35 titoli che comprendono gli esordi e i titoli più significativi del periodo, cui si aggiunge un omaggio a Dennis Potter, uno dei talenti televisivi europei più innovativi.

SPAZIO TORINO
sezione competitiva dedicata ai migliori cortometraggi realizzati da filmmakers e videomakers nati o residenti in Piemonte. Gli 8 film selezionati concorrono al Premio Chicca Richelmy per il miglior cortometraggio (euro 6.000, di cui euro 4.000 in servizi tecnici per la realizzazione di un nuovo cortometraggio) attribuito dalla giuria Valdata (Torinosette).

EVENTI SPECIALI
saranno le versioni restaurate di La classe operaia va in Paradiso (1971) di Elio Petri e Diario di un maestro (1973) di Vittorio De Seta; e il documentario dedicato da Massimo Spano a uno dei più importanti produttori del cinema italiano, dal titolo Franco Cristaldi e il suo cinema Paradiso (Italia 2008).

10 Terremoto entre Michoacán y Chiapas

Entre los estudiosos de la geología mexicana y tras largas décadas de estudios se ha extrapolado que un terremoto de magnitud mayor a los 8.5 grados en la escala Richter está por ocurrir dentro de los siguientes 50 años o mucho menos, es solo cuestión de tiempo. La sacudida sería catastrófica, la peor amenaza podría ser un mega Tsunami idéntico al que afectó a Indonesia en 2004 ya que la falla que rodea al pacífico es idéntica a la asiática.

9 Clima Severo en el Golfo de México y Península de Yucatán

Huracanes sin precedente han impactado a esta vulnerable zona de México, el intervalo de tormentas monstruo ocurren en distancias muy alejadas haciendo que la gente se confíe y se acostumbre a no darle importancia debida. Sin embargo México cuenta con la experiencia vivida en 1988 con el huracán Gilberto y cuando se tenía en mente que no se volvería a ver nada similar o más fuerte que eso llegó Wilma en 2005. Wilma ha sido el desastre natural más costoso de México.

8 Impacto de un Asteroide

Sería el peor desastre que podría desestabilizar y colapsar todas las actividades humanas modernas. No estamos exentos, ocurrió hace 65 000 000 de años y podría ocurrir en cualquier momento.

7 Tsunami en las costas del pacífico

Un potente terremoto podría ocurrir al sur de California, trayendo consigo un tsunami capaz de destruir toda la infraestructura costera desde el centro hasta el norte de México, llegando de manera inesperada y matando a miles de personas.

6 Erupción del Volcán Popocatepetl En México se tiene registros de fuerte actividad Volcánica en este siglo ocurrieron dos de ellos. El 20 de Febrero de 1943 sin previo aviso surgió un nuevo volcán dentro de unas humeantes parcelas en Michoacán, había nacido el Paricutín. Recordamos también al Volcán Chichonal en Chiapas que erupcionó el 28 de Marzo de 1982, ambas erupciones ocurrieron en áreas poco pobladas, pero, ¿Está el centro de México preparado para la mega erupción del Popocatepetl? A solo 150 km a la redonda se concentran más de 20 millones de habitantes en los cuales se podrían depositar ceniza de 50 o más centímetros de altura.

5 Terremoto en Ciudad de México

1985 quedó marcado por la población que vivía en ciudad de México en ese entonces por un sismo de 8.1 grados en la escala de Richter el 19 de Septiembre de ese año, pero la alerta sigue vigente, se pronostica que un fuerte terremoto puede ocurrir en cualquier momento entre Guerrero y Michoacán que podría impactar a ciudad de México en los próximos años.

4 Calor Severo y Sequía

Las ondas de calor serán cada vez mas frecuentes, especialmente hacia el norte del país, lo que ocasionará sequías impresionantes que acabarán con la agricultura en zonas como las Baja Californias, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila y Nuevo León, donde se esperan escenarios severos para grandes ciudades como Hermosillo, Torreón y Monterrey con gigantescas tormentas de polvo y arena.

3 Inundaciones en la zona del Golfo

La realidad alcanzó al pronóstico de inundaciones en el Golfo de México, ocurrió en Octubre del 2007, en Tabasco México, más del 80 % de todo un estado, de una ciudad de 1 000 000 de habitantes, quedó prácticamente bajo el agua. ¿Cuál es la siguiente? Tampico, Coatzacoalcos ó Veracruz, lo sabremos durante las siguientes décadas.

2 Tsunami en Golfo de México y mar Caribe

Científicos tienen pruebas de una mortal falla que se encuentra en el mar caribe y se tienen datos precisos de tsunamis de gran tamaño que han ocurrido en el pasado. Si esta falla despierta, desaparecería la rivera Maya, Tabasco, Veracruz hasta la zona serrana y Tamaulipas de igual manera.

1 Fin del mundo

Podrá ser un meteoro, quizás una nueva enfermedad o una severa tormenta solar, no sabemos que escenario podría ocurrir, sin embargo los científicos creen que estamos siempre en un constante riesgo.

Desigur, ceilalti 26 de sateliti te lumineaza si ei, iar lumina mea pare nesemnificativa: dar eu am cicatrici, eu am cele mai multe cicatrici ale unui razboi care s-a dat in mine, pe care l-am ascuns de tine si in fata caruia nu te-am prezentat, spunand: “Priveste! Acesta e el.” Si nici acum nu te duc in fata lui - pentru ca asa viu, cum inca mai este, daca te-ar privi in ochi, l-ai invinge. Dar victoria asupra lui daca nu e a mea, e infrangere - mai ales daca e victoria ta.

Priveste - vezi drumul pe care am urcat? Astept de 83 de ani sa faci un cerc in jurul soarelui, si mai am de asteptat putin - un singur an. Si atunci vom fi din nou de unde am plecat, asezati unul fata de altul fata in fata, si probabil fara sa ne amintim nici macar cum ne cheama. So first off I would like to say that I’ve officially reached 26 today the 5^th of November! Yes the most important time in American politics lands right on the eve, or on the day of my birthday. But lets be serious, the American people aren’t really celebrating the election of a new leader for our nation…they are celebrating my…ahem…birth. To continue celebrating my birth…here is a gratuitous man picture…enjoy…it is my gift to you

Now let’s get down to brass tacks my friends. I began my blog several months ago to try and figure out what I lacked and needed to do with my life. While I look back at my posts and recount the many fun times I’ve had I’ve also noticed that I am not really where I wanted to be by the time I turned 26. I thought at this point in my life after being partially out of the closet I’d have significant other. I don’t have a significant other, but I do have someone I full around with pretty consistently…even if he is much older than me. I thought I’d have a job in my field, I don’t, but Does it count if I’ve applied??? These two notions make me kind of anxious considering I am closing in on 30. It isn’t that I’m getting older it’s just that I’m not where I thought I’d be in life by 26. I’m at a state of stasis right now…consistent yet happy, but I’m going to need some changes real soon. Okay so enough of this feelings conversation…I hope you all go out and have some good old booze gay man fun to celebrate my introduction to the world! Cheers for now.

So originally when I finished this blog the 2008 election wasn’t over now that it’s over there are a few things I would like to get off my chest. First and for most…shame on you Florida, California, Arizona, and Arkansas…you’ve taken away peoples rights. On what basis did you take these rights away, fear and your religion???? This breaks my heart to know that there are people out there that feel the need to marginalize others. That is what they did plain and simple. Secondly, I just want to say that for those of you gay men and women who want to adopt, don’t do it. I hate to say it and it isn’t pretty to say but if people want to deny marriage then why should we help those children that languish in a state system. I’ve talked about this before and I genuinely hate to know that children will suffer from this but why should we gays sink money into state systems that feel the need to deny us our right to marry. I say let the systems fill with children until states realize that these kids could have wonderful loving homes but because of their moral issues they won’t get a home.

I know it crass, mean, and down right deplorable of me to say but why is it that we have to take the moral high road. You know what I’m saying, that voice in your head, your conscious that goes, “you know even though people have taken your right to marry away we should still adopt because there are children that need us…it’s for them.” Screw that I’m over being Mr. Nice Gay. I’m sick and tired about people being so scared of gay marriage. Is it really that crazy or scary that two men and two women love each other and want the sanctity of a marriage to prove their love and devotion to each other?

The other thing that I’m kinda over is people calling us progressive as a nation. Yes we are progressive but I believe we are selectively progressive. Don’t get me wrong I’m enthralled at having Obama as my President. But if we were progressive don’t you think that gay rights would have won. People “selected” not to progress gay rights. We only choose to be progressive when we want to or when the time is right. We tout being progressive but I just think we pick and choose our areas of progression based on how we feel at that time. I mean we chose to progress in some areas of animal rights and abortion.

On a final note I just want to say I hope Obama and Biden stay true to their word protecting what gay rights we have. I have said from the beginning that I was a Clinton supporter, but when she did not get the nod for the presidential position I was left with Obama and McCain…obviously I would not vote for McCain so that left Obama. The hardest thing for me to swallow about Obama was that both he and Biden stood up and said they will protect gay rights but believed that marriage was between a man and a woman. First, I believe marriage is a right that should be given to me…and currently the states show that they don’t believe in that right, secondly, people look to Obama and Biden as not only leaders of our nation but as moral leaders too. When these two men stood up at the debates and said they believed that marriage was between a man and a woman they told people that is okay to give certain rights to gays. They made it okay, they made it comfortable, acceptable, for people to give certain rights to the gays while still holding them an arms length away from total equality. Because of this I came down with the choice of either not voting for Obama or compromising the feelings I have about equality for gays for the greater good. That’s not an easy decision to be asked or to be made. What makes the decision even worse is that Obama is in office and that is great but will he and Biden do anything to help the gays in the state that just had their rights to adoption and marriage taken away from them, or will they just support the rights for gays to visit their loved ones in hospitals etc? I think it is an important question we have to ask ourselves and our new President and our new Vice President. Like I said I’m not bashing Obama and Biden. I am just a concerned, marginalized, second class citizen who has questions and is hoping for change.

Okay now I’m over my political rant. This should be a happy day so as a gift to me go out and get drunk and have some crazy gay fun times with the people you care about the most.

P.S. Congrats to Obama and Biden! Let hear it for change!

Girl's Night In - Birthday Slumber Party

Turning 26 gave me just the excuse I needed to get together with my awesome girl friends in Denver. To celebrate, eight of us rented the 60’s Disco Suite at The Hotel Monaco downtown. We played the very classic bowl game (best game ever) and danced our hearts out until after 2am. After being told room service was closed, I somehow convinced them to bring us grilled cheese and chips. To top it off, they also brought us a complimentary bottle of champagne!

Sunday morning, the girls, along with their significant others, came over to my house where Chef Adam (best husband ever) cooked us all a delicious brunch. I could not have imagined a better weekend.

16-yr-old beaten to death in Vile Parle

Vile Parle: The Nadar family was still to come to term with the loss of one of their sons, Premkumar, who died in a bike accident only 27 days ago, when they received the news that their 16-year-old son was beaten to death by three men.

On Sunday night, Prabhukumar Nadar was sitting in his father’s garage in Vile Parle when he saw his elder brother Udaykumar, 21, fighting with three people.

As Prabhukumar tried to intervene, the trio allegedly started to rain blows at him and then fled from the spot.

He was rushed to VN Desai Hospital but was declared dead before admission, the police said.

The police arrested Dyaneshwar Nidankavi, 23, Shiveraj Aaleti, 26, and Venkatesh Kadmanshi, 24, on charges of murder and voluntarily causing hurt.

According to the police, Udaykumar, a mechanic, was on his way home after meeting a friend.

Around 10.30 pm, the three men, who were crossing the road, began to argue with him saying that he was not riding the vehicle properly and that was about to hit them.
When Prabhukumar spotted his elder brother involved in the argument, he immediately intervened.

“Though he was trying to stop the argument, the three men began hitting him hard. As he collapsed on the ground, the trio fled from the spot,” said S Kane, sub inspector at the Vile Parle police station.

According to the post mortem report, the victim died of several internal injuries in the abdomen and chest.

Police said that Prabhukumar was to appear for his SSC exams privately next year.

A Level 26 Lunalynn!

Hurray! Today is the day Lunalynn hit 26 >_< I know this seems like nothing to most maplers around here but I had quite a hard day. I was trying to finish off some quests and I ended up dying to wild boars (Yes I know…) losing 10% in one go. That’s the contra if you are dedicated to training an archer, you better not die or you’ll have to pay hell for it. I decided to stay away from wild boars for the day and went to go poke some green mushrooms. I don’t know why but I really like those :3 Now I like them even more, they helped me reach level 26 so give a cheer for the green mushrooms.

Frankly this level was hell for me x_x I died a lot and seemed stuck at level 25. I’m one step closer to crossbow(wo)manhood right now and I hope it will give me motivation to keep going. I’ll post a nice introduction post for Lunalynn later on in case anyone is interested. Before I close this post I’ll give you a screenshot of a happy Lunalynn after just hitting level 26.

My aunt told me 2 days ago that the release date of the Twilight movie is moved from November 20 to November 26. The date was confirmed on this blogsite: TWILIGHT COVEN PHILIPPINES. I wanted to protest but nothing can be done if its me against USA. How sad!
