Demi Lovato’s Debut CD, Don’t Forget comes out TODAY!!

I got it yesterday because I pre-ordered it and let me tell you , it’s AMAZING!

I love every single song. Usually I skip over some songs, but on this CD I can’t skip over anything!

She also sings a duet with the Jonas Brothers! Maybe they’ll perform it together someday! That would be awesome.

Recorded music is all very well (I mean, let’s be fair – indie record labels like ourselves bloody love it) but there’s nothing quite like witnessing people rock out live. And we’re dealing with a whole heap of incredible live acts at the moment – and we really want you to see them…

Therefore, in association with our pals in the band (who are both handsome and witty) we have managed to procure two pairs of VIP guestlist passes for the This City gig at London Barfly on Tuesday (take a hot girl/boy – imagine how impressed they’ll be on the door)– pour vous with the gracious love of Alcopop Records….

All you need to do to win them is correctly email us (at ilovealcopop@googlemail.com) the title of the B-Side from the band’s latest single (coming out on Alcopop on Monday) – for clues you can either check the shop, or the bands MySpace… We’ll be announcing the two winners on Monday evening (maybe Tuesday morning depending on how lazy we are) – and 2 runners up will get a pint bought for them by Jack Alcopop if they happen to be at the gig anyway.

Sorry for always shouting/screaming at you and losing my temper every time we start quarrelling. Sorry for even picking up fights with you. I know all this is sounding extremely strange coming from me :O HAHA PLEASE BEAR WITH IT AS IT’S CONFESSION TIME :O

It’s sad to see you distance yourself away from us - I feel that you are becoming more and more like a stranger to me. I no longer know you anymore. Remember the times you used to encourage/help me? In P1 you bought me my first slurpee from 7-11 at the old RGPS campus when you came to fetch me from school after my abacus lesson. We were so cute then - We hooked pinkies to promise each other not to tell Her Majesty (: No, I’m not saying we’re not cute now haha!

In P4, I really disliked doing this particular Chinese assessment book which required me to rearrange words to form sentences. I think the book was called 组织成句.. It was such a tedious process..!! I used to disturb you every time you sat down to study because I couldn’t stand how you managed to sit still for such long stretches. Once, you were so engrossed in your work and miraculously lost track of time. When you asked me for the time, I purposely set my alarm clock 2 hours ahead, ran to your desk, showed you the clock and you freaked out!! You almost killed me when you realized what I did ;P

I didn’t like Science in P5 and was never good at it (still am). You actually helped me consolidate notes on MS Word and printed them for me to take to school to revise for my Science exam (:

In P6, you tried your best to help me get into Nanyang through your contacts. I remembered how you accompanied me to CCAB - the then-SPE - to try out for T&F in case I couldn’t get in through Badminton. Obviously I didn’t make it - Do I look like I can run?! Mr Pedro said they would take me in if I joined Throws, but Her Majesty wouldn’t approve of it. In the end you were so cheesed off because your efforts were futile ): Sorry for the troubles you had to go through..

In Sec 2, you went to Ontario for exchange and we exchanged emails rather frequently (: Even though you were far away in physical terms, you still bothered asking me how I was getting along with my work and even asked to see how I did my unseen prose.. :/

These are things I’ll never forget. Not to mention all the times we laughed at Tanny behind her back Ah, these fond memories.

Thank you for always trying to talk sense into me whenever I’m down.

Stop emo-ing under the pretext of working on assignments using your laptop! I’m not as oblivious/aloof to my surroundings at home as I seem (: It still amuses me how His Majesty calls you ‘the emo’. Oh by the way, I’m not the one who always tips Her Majesty off about you and your doings in the wee hours of the morning!!! I know you think I’m the one ): Whatever it is, stay cheerful and take things more lightly (: I’ve always admired how you’ve managed to cope with so many things under your belt. It’s good to see that you’re not as highly strung up as before as you are now seeking comfort in running/playing piano/singing/going out with your friends! Yeah, that’s the way babe! Get far far far far far far far awayyyyyyy from the stress at home.

Fret not, I only use the word ‘love’, the symbols ‘<3′ and ‘♥’ when I mean it (: Sometimes, I just can’t stand how others treat love so superficially. Let’s not go into that, shall we?

This is one of my longest blog posts ever.

Salinggwi, UST’s official dance troupe celebrates its 23rd anniversary (founded 1985) yesterday. In celebration with their anniversary, Salinggawi sponsored its 23rd annual university-wide dance competition entitled “SayawJuan.” The competition will celebrate Filipino heritage through dances accompanied by opms.

I watched the show with my bestfriend. Enjoy naman! Magaling ang Salinggwi pero puro gymnastics ang nakita ko …. sana may streetdance! Everything is a plus dahil kasali ang mga dance troupes ng different colleges, i love the trio presentation ng One Shade Dance Squad (CFAD Dance Troupe) at group presentation naman ng Paci Rhitmos (AMV-UST CA Dance Troupe). Bored kami sa mga solo presentations eh.

The opening number na prepared by salinggawi is good naman kaso bad yung lightings at smoking machine, masyadong makapal yung smoke effect, hindi na makita yung mga dancers buti na lang at may dalawang giant screen (one on left side, the other on the right side). Madaming tao, sikat siguro ang competition na ito sa uste.

The judges nga lang ang are puro taga ust at former members ng salinggawi, sana nagsama sila ng isang outsider para for another perspective of their dances.

C: Bakit ang mura naman, 100 pesos lang?

B: Sa UST Gym lang kasi yun, tsaka may reg fees naman kasi na binayaran ang mga contestants nung eliminations.

C: Ah, oh, ano namang masama sa UST gym? Saan ba, doon sa annex o yung original?

B: Isipin mo kung saan dapat ang isang daang piso!

C: Grrrrr! Ang init dun!

That’s the only problem, mainit! Hindi kasi aircon ang UST gym na original! Pero all in all, masaya at nakaka entertain naman ang mga presentations! Looking forward sa Sayaw Manila ng Indayog!

We wandered 23rd a bit after Karen’s birthday dinner. This was taken as we walked back to the car after having dessert at Papa Haydn.

23rd birthday on the 23rd of June! it’s a once in life kinda thingy right? ahah.. and i spent this special day with PP and a mini-cake celebration with his lovely family.

Finally, we tried mushroom pot! it’s in OG level 4 i think.. the food and concept is kinda new.. so many types of mushroom in a meal.. aha.. food is nice but not that cheap.

I haven’t posted in a while. I thought I might to save you all the worry of how I am doing. Everything is good, and football is still going great. Biggest news of all is that I am testing for my black belt this summer! August 23rd is the test date, and I am worried out of my mind. That pressure just hit, but before that it was excitement. But, I have been waiting for 2 and a half years, and the recommended wait is only a year. So, that’s all I have to say for right now, peace out, y’alls!

Tomorrow is the first day of the medieval party on club penguin! It should be good as it lasts a long time and it is also rumored to include games. To finish it all off Club Penguin have decided to have an igloo decorating contest! It starts on the 23rd of may (for more information see my events post)

The medieval igloo contest starts very soon! 23rd of May to be precise! A new Furniture Catalogue comes out on Friday- so start saving up to buy medieval items from that! I’m hoping it won’t just be the old medieval items- and that they’ll have new ones two! The winners of the contests win 10,000 coins and their igloos get posted in the Club Penguin Times!
