I have to give it up to Kent Couch. It takes some real cajones to strap yourself into a lawn chair that is tied to a hundred helium balloons. His balloon chair is capable of flying up to 16,000 feet into the air. Couch recently broke a world record by flying 235 miles across Oregon and into Idaho in his balloon powered lawn chair.

Personally, I’m scared to even walk across a bridge, so I can’t imagine how Mr. Couch doesn’t get violently sick being that high up, with only a parachute as protection.
