Am luat examenul la sala. Si simteam nevoia sa ma laud. Pe langa asta, mi-am dat seama ca acest examena fost atat de greu, pe cat de linistita ma simt azi, pe atat de nervoasa am fost de vreo 2 luni incoace. De azi nu mai trebuie sa invat pentru permis. E o schimbare binevenita, mai ales ca temele la scoala se cam aduna. Dar nu pot sa zic “hop” pana joi, asa ca tineti-mi pumnii. Nu ma consider risc major pentru sosele, mai debraba pentru mediu avand in vedere ca eu cam supraturez motorul, dar atat timp cat nu calc pe nimeni e bine! Una peste alta, sper sa termin acum, sa nu fiu nevoita sa dau iar sala, ca atunci o sa iasa urat, si sa fie ultimul examen, pana la bac. Scurt si la obiect. Sunt prea obosita, dar iar am observat ca am un vizitator pe zi, care probabil ca astepta sa mai citeasca ceva, deci : ceva. Alte posturi zilele astea probabil. Urmeaza.

Segundo o alerta do grupo iPhone Dev-Team, os proprietarios do iPhone 3G não deve fazer qualquer tipo de atualização requerida pelo iTunes relacionada ao iPhone.

Segundo eles essa atualização poderia acabar com qualquer chance futura de desbloqueio do aparelho. Portanto não atualize seus iPhones segundo novos pronunciamentos do grupo hacker.

One outstanding feature of Islam is their way of life and the rules that they have to follow. It follows logically that some of the biggest continents hold the greatest number of Muslims, namely Africa.

But how much is this proportion? Roughly when overestimated, 22% of the world population. That much.

Indeed, business owners should do well to tap into this vast and fast growing market. Just recently, Nestle has obtained certification of permissibility, namely, their foods being halal. What this means is that the Islamic governing body has approved the consumption of Nestle products for Muslims and because of that, Nestle has seen a hike in revenue. Well after all it’s 22% of the world population, what do you expect?

Another concept comes in the form of ‘Islamic Banking‘, which follows the rites of Islam’s rules in terms of money.

Amazing? Yes, as an opportunity. Tap into this market I will, no doubt about that.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace

‘…Slechts een heel klein beetje troost, al is het maar omdat hierna een nieuwe James Bond film komt…’

JAMES Bond #22: Quantum of Solace. Oftewel: James Bond en een klein beetje troost. En tja, het bruggetje is dan wat makkelijk gemaakt, maar troost bied deze film niet. Noch troost voor Bond noch troost voor het publiek. Het eerste - troost voor Bond - was toch eigenlijk het beoogde doel van de film en moest als leidraad door het verhaal heen lopen; althans zo mochten we verwachten van de trailers. Waarom dient Bond eigenlijk getroost te worden? Daarvoor blikken we terug naar de voorgaande film: Casino Royale, de film die werd neergezet als het ‘begin’ van James Bond en bovendien als de enige film waarin Bond echte liefde kent. Bond verliest aan het einde van Casino Royale echter zijn geliefde op een gruwelijke wijze. Terugkomend op de troost voor Bond: hoe komt hij ooit over het verlies van zijn geliefde heen? Het komt er niet echt uit in Quantum of Solace. Vreemd geplaatste quotes van M (Ja zij is er in tegenstelling van Q nog wel), komen zo geforceerd naar buiten dat je gedachtes van zelf terug gaan naar de trailers: ‘O, ze wil hiermee zeker zeggen dat James Bond met een emotioneel probleem zit’. Verder zie je dat ‘emotionele’ probleem totaal niet terug in Bond zelf - of is het misschien in de passage waarin je vertwijfeld achter word gelaten of 007 nou wel of niet het bed heeft gedeeld met een jongedame (iets wat in de vorige films maar al te duidelijk met ‘ja’ kon worden beantwoord). De tegenspeler van Bond, Bondgirl, zou de emotionele Britsagent moeten benadrukken, want ja, zij heeft zelf ook een emotioneel probleem. Allemaal boehoe, maar de film is zo kil als het maar kan. Is dat het dan juist? Alleen een EMO Bond kan zo kil zijn? Zo humorloos? Zo ongelooflijk wreed in zijn acties? Want dat isie wel: ijskoud tegen de mensen die hem dwarszitten. Althans - helaas alweer - zo lijkt het, totdat de camera wegzoeft en ons enkel het verhaal toedeelt van het lot van de slechteriken via M. Die op haar beurt zich dan weer zorgen maakt over de o zo verdrietige 007. Troost voor de toeschouwer biedt deze 22ste film dan zeker ook niet, hoewel het ook niet helemaal terecht is om te zeggen, want Casino Royale - waar Daniel Craig debuteerde als geheim agent - was een toppertje. Waar ik meer op doelde was de troost die je van een film als deze zou verwachtten als de producenten van te voren vertellen dat er een aantal goude-oude simpelweg niet in de film zijn gestopt. De film moet wel heel erg goed zijn als een simpel zinnetje als ‘The name is Bond, James Bond!’ er zelfs niet in kan! Helaas. Die troost blijft uit. Eigenlijk voelt de film meer aan als een van de meerdere eindes van Casino Royale; na Quantum of Solace heb je het gevoel niet veel verder te zijn gekomen. Dan heeft de film toch wel een toepasselijke titel: een heel klein beetje troost, al is het maar omdat we weten dat er hierna weer een nieuwe Bond film komt. Maar laat die Aston Martin dan wel iets langer in beeld, en breng Q weer terug en stop er wat humor in en… waar was Moneypenny eigenlijk?! Juist. Slechts een heel klein beetje troost.

YouTube, el sitio para compartir videos más popular del mundo, comenzará a emitir en directo a finales de mes, en un esfuerzo por llevar al portal a un nuevo nivel.

El portal, propiedad de Google , ha evolucionado desde una moda temporal a una página con aficionados leales. Sin embargo, como diría cualquier directivo de televisión, necesitaba comenzar a producir contenido nuevo y fresco para mantener su audiencia.

Así surgió la idea “YouTube Live”, que será lanzada el 22 de noviembre en San Francisco con un espectáculo donde participarán el rapero Will.i.Am y la cantante Katy Perry, junto a estrellas surgidas en el portal de intercambio como Esmee Denters, un joven de 20 años que publicó videos suyos cantando y se hizo un nombre en la red.

Los directivos de YouTube afirman que este programa incluirá a realizadores aficionados que son populares en el portal, una comunidad que ya han albergado eventos no oficiales y a los cuales la compañía quiere captar al organizar esta transmisión en vivo.

“El valor de YouTube es que hemos creado esta plataforma que ha sido dirigida por la comunidad, así que es una reacción a eso”, afirmó el portavoz de YouTube, Chris Di Cesare.

“Tener eventos de comunidades que la comunidad valora beneficia a todos los involucrados”, añadió.

Desde su lanzamiento en 2005, YouTube ha sido el depositario para todo tipo de videos en Internet, desde trozos de espectáculos de televisión hasta cortes hechos para la presidencia de Estados Unidos.

CHRIS CORNING INTERVIEW

This past weekend I had the pleasure of sitting down with 9 year old snowboard prodigy Chris Corning to do an interview for issue 2.2 of Allus Magazine. If you don’t already know Chris, I guarantee you soon will. He not only is a ripping snowboarder and skater, but one of the most likable kids you’ll ever meet.

Over the last year I have been lucky enough to help mentor and coach him and I’ve got say he is really going places. The kids already got his own custom snowboard made by Never Summer and sponsorships from Echo Mountain, Smith and 686.

Here’s a couple of photographs I took for the article as well as the orginal transcript from the interview…

Chris Corning - Shredding the Junkyard at Echo

MARC: Hey Chris, good to see you again buddy. It’s been a long summer, what have you been up to since last season?

CHRIS: I went to a lot of birthday parties. One was at Dylan’s house.

MARC: Nice! Did you have a party for your own birthday?

CHRIS: Yeah, I had my birthday party at Jungle Quest. They have a jungle gym, zip lines and swings.

MARC: That sounds like a lot of fun. How old are you now?

CHRIS: 9

MARC: So what’s it like being 9 and having a larger skill set than riders twice your age?

CHRIS: Crazy. It’s cool being a good snowboarder. I think I’m lucky.

MARC: Do you do any other sports or activities that help you be a better snowboarder?

CHRIS: I think skateboarding helps me a lot and I also do karate.

MARC: I knew you’ve been skating since you were like two, but Karate, what’s that all about?

CHRIS: I’ve been doing it since I was three and I’m a brown belt now.

MARC: Can you do any sweet karate tricks?

CHRIS: Yeah, I can do a tornado kick.

MARC: That’s awesome! I’ll have to be careful what I say. While we’re on the subject of tricks, what would you say your best snowboard trick is?

CHRIS: Backside 360

MARC: How about your favorite trick?

CHRIS: Backside 180

MARC: Hahaa! I think it’s always more fun when you can’t see where you’re going too. What direction do you see yourself taking your riding in the future?

CHRIS: I like riding for photos most, but video too.

MARC: Do you plan on shooting for any videos this season?

CHRIS: Uh-huh. The Smith video and Echodemic Vol. 2.

MARC: Any thoughts on where your riding might take you in 10 years?

CHRIS: Being a pro and traveling the world. I want to go to the X-Games.

MARC: If I were to hand you a million dollars right now, what would you do with it?

CHRIS: I’d go all around the whole world snowboarding.

MARC: Any where in particular?

CHRIS: No. Just everywhere.

MARC: Where’s your favorite place to snowboard right now?

CHRIS: Echo Mountain and I like Loveland too.

MARC: What’s your favorite snowboard company?

CHRIS: Never Summer

MARC: I heard you snagged yourself some pretty big sponsors this season. Who are they?

CHRIS: Echo Mountain, Never Summer, 686 and Smith

MARC: Rumor has it that Never Summer is making you your own custom board. What’s that all about?

CHRIS: They don’t have snowboards small enough for me.

MARC: What size do you ride?

CHRIS: 120

MARC: Wow, that is small! What model is it going to be based off of?

CHRIS: An Evo.

MARC: Regular or reverse camber?

CHRIS: Reverse.

MARC: Do you think there are many other kids out there that have their own custom snowboard?

CHRIS: I don’t think so.

MARC: I’m pretty sure I already know the answer, but do you have a girlfriend?

CHRIS: No thank you!

MARC: Who are your influences? Who do you look up to most?

CHRIS: My Mom, my Dad and Marc Moline.

MARC: Me? Wow, I’m flattered! Do you have any other favorite pros?

CHRIS: Ryan Sheckler and Shaun White

MARC: Obviously your skating plays a big part in your riding. Do your mom and dad ever get freaked out watching you snowboard or skate?

CHRIS: My Mom. She tells me I’m crazy. My dad says, “That was awesome!”

MARC: Do you ever make yourself nervous?

CHRIS: When I’m doing big tricks sometimes my heart races a little bit.

MARC: Do you have any goals for the upcoming season?

CHRIS: I want to do a rodeo flip and a 270 onto a down rail.

MARC: Nice dude! Is there anything else you want to say, shout outs you want to give?

CHRIS: Thanks to my Mom and Dad. And for all the stuff you and Chris Harris do for me.

MARC: No worries man. We’re just looking out for our little homie.

MARC: Well, it’s been a pleasure getting to talk with you Chris. I can’t wait to shred with you this season!

Fusesem în oraş. Ne întorceam acasă, pe jos. Ne-am oprit pe treptele unei bănci. Eram cam ameţiţi. Ne-am întins pe jos, ne-am sărutat. Nu eram prea compatibili la asta, parcă aveam alte tipuri de limbă. Am zâmbit frumos la camera. A venit la mine, de unde a plecat cu un taxi acasă.

Se întâmpla la ziua lui 4, eram încă cu 16, dar nu mai vorbisem de ceva timp. I-am dat mesaj în care i-am dat de înţeles că s-a terminat totul. Ne-am întins pe o canapea şi am început să ne sărutam. Se pricepea.

Eram în Fifi, era ora 11, i-am zis prietenului ei că mergem la baie. A zis că are încredere în ea.

…i-am cerut telefonul, avea un joc cu snowboard, vroiam să ma joc.

Încălzire, challange sau freestyle.

…am selectat freestyle. A început să-mi sufle în ureche, apoi s-a năpustit asupra mea, m-a lipit de uşa, nu m-am putut abţine, săruta fain.

…am fost în şoc toată ziua.

La acelaşi joc, numai că era baiat. Am pus suflet. A doua zi râdea toată lumea de noi. Şi nu mai eram beat.
