Der letzte Detektiv, ist eine Hörspielserie aus dem Jahre 1984 aus der Feder von Michael Koser, im wesentlichen produziert vom Bayrischen Rundfunk. Nun gab es ein kommerzielles Remake mit den Originalsprechern, welches es aber nur auf vier Folgen brachte. Jedoch sollte es für die Serie einen würdigen Abschluß geben und so werden als For-Free-Folgen noch zwei allerletzte Folgen produtiert: Comeback und Abgesang heißen diese. Im Lauschforum stellt Marz die Serie so vor: ”Kosers Weitblick (1984 - AdV) damals war unglaublich. Er siedelte die Geschichten in der nahen Zukunft an (die letzten Folgen spielen 2017) und führte damals schon den Euro als europäische Einheitswährung ein wo noch nichtmal die Rede vom Ecu war. Diese Realitätstreffer vermischt mit nicht vorhergesehenen Dingen (der Held muß z.B. immer ein Münztelefon suchen weil Koser nicht genug Fantasie hatte vorab auch das Handy zu erfinden) verleihen den Hörspielen einen Charme den man quasi nirgendwo sonst findet. Nahdranfiction trifft auf die Huldigung vor den großen Privatdetektiven des Kinos des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts. Jeder der Jonas und Sam nicht kennt sollte das schleunigst nachholen.” Recht hat er!

Ebenfalls informativ ist auch Wikipedia: “Ähnlich wie die Handlungszeit der Serie inzwischen in greifbare Nähe zu rücken scheint, sind auch die Themen deutlich aktueller, als sie es bei der Entstehung der Hörspiele waren: Wirtschaftskriminalität, Umweltverschmutzung, skrupellose Ausbeutung der Unterschicht (z. B. durch Organhandel und Snuff-Filme). Michael Koser hat hier weitsichtig den Euro als Währungseinheit eingeführt. In Folge 2 („Safari“) wird auch der Cent als Untereinheit erwähnt. 1984, dem Produktionsjahr der Folgen 1 bis 4, war vom Euro als europäische Einheitswährung noch nicht die Rede - diese nannte sich damals noch „ECU“.

The Navy plans a 17 percent increase in the number of ships it will buy between fiscal years 2010 and 2015, which, if unaltered, would allow the sea service to reach its goal of a 313-ship fleet by 2017, about three years earlier than previously projected, according to a draft shipbuilding plan reviewed by the Pentagon’s acquisition czar earlier this month.

“[The number] 313 remains a relevant surface ship and submarine force target to meet Navy and [combatant command] needs,” states a response to a question about the mix of ships in the program objective memorandum 2010 (POM-10) and the Navy’s 313-ship fleet goal, included in the POM-10 document obtained by InsideDefense.com. Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics John Young initialed the document, which included all four services’ future budget plans.

Roman Catholics can learn from the 16th-century Protestant reformer Martin Luther, the Vatican’s top official for Christian unity, has said, as Protestant churches in Germany prepare to launch a 10-year series of events leading up to the 500th anniversary in 2017 of the Lutheran Reformation, reports Ecumenical News International. In an interview published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, Cardinal Walter Kasper encouraged Catholics to read Luther’s commentaries on the Bible, and his “hymns full of spiritual power”. The cardinal said he also hoped Protestantism would return to the faith of Martin Luther, “who would have been deeply averse to all of today’s liberal tendencies”.

When I saw this article I was sceptical – but the last sentence is the clincher isn’t it? Typical Roman Catholic rhetoric and propaganda in order to aid its chief objective in regards to Protestantism – ‘he also hoped Protestantism would return to the faith of Martin Luther.’ This sentence really says – he also hoped Protestantism would return to the Roman Catholic Church. This is their constant mantra and no amount of dressing will prevent intelligent Protestants from seeing his comments in any other light.
