Hello to all. I recently purchased my 2009 Nissan Maxima this week. It is Precision Gray w/charcoal leather.

I was wondering if any people out there has one of these new Maxima’s and what they could tell me about their experience with their car?? I love this car so far…..this is my 3rd maxima since 2000.

For 2009 Nissan new that they needed to make a change for the Maxima. With Ford making a huge dent in the market with the FUSION and the awards and Customer response to the new car.. Nissan designers wanted to make sure that the all new Maxima was Sportier.

They started with the body. The exterior had seen changes before, but didn’t stray too far from the rounded Nissan look that had been working for years. This time they wanted to shake it up a bit. The New Maxima shows it. The new exterior styling is great, the lines, the handling all scream sporty. They worked hard to make this new Maxima stand out above the rest and boy does it work. The new Headlamps grab your attention from the get go. Following them to the hood, the gentle angles that take over make it look much more aggressive. Then you look at the cabin and the profile of the car and are very pleased at the experience. This is truly a different Maxima.

If you have not had the chance to get behind the wheel of it, don’t wait, it is well worth jogging down to Tim Dahle Nissan Sandy to check it out and take it for a spin. The new suspension only adds to the whole new experience and talking about it doesn’t do it justice. You have to feel it. The Geneva Motor Show and the New York Auto Show has ended. So where’s the next automotive show and exposition?

Beijing is set to play host for the Beijing Motor Show and this is slated to run from April 22-28, the Pebble Beach Concours on August 17 and the Paris Motor Show on October 4 to 19.

The recently concluded New York International Show is a yearly event that takes place at the Jacobs K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. And for this year, among the models that was introduced include the 2009 Nissan Maxima, 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe and the 2009 Honda Fit.

4DSC is back in full effect.

The 2009 Nissan Maxima’s radical new look made its debut earlier this week at the New York International Auto Show… check it out:

The new Max dons the classic “4DSC” (4-Door Sports Coupe) logo decal on its rear window, calling back to its early ’90s days when it truly established itself as the definition of a sports sedan. But since decals don’t make a car go faster (though some teenagers would beg to differ), Nissan went ahead and stuffed another 35 horses into the legendary VQ engine, topping it out at a hair-raising 290hp. Add that to the fact that its suspension was tuned at Germany’s reknowned Nurburgring track, and I think it’s safe to say we’re looking at the next benchmark for sports sedans in America.
