Incredibile come quello che doveva essere un semplice diario personale sia diventato un sito con oltre 200 000 visite. Soprattutto per chi fa, vuole fare e farà sempre ben altro nella vita. Curioso notare come non siano solo interisti i visitatori, anzi! Praticamente i non interisti sono più del doppio, con una percentuale cospicua di napoletani.

Molte visite arrivano direttamente da Google e non dai siti di informazione in cui Lexatus Dixit è presente, segno che l’indicizzazione nei motori di ricerca va sempre meglio (il sito è già prima per molte parole chiave di uso comune). Altre visite arrivano dalla dashboard di WordPress, dove spesso siamo tra i top 5 (o come sito o per qualche articolo particolarmente letto).

Da oggi c’è anche una novità: verranno filtrati di meno i commenti. Non saranno ammesse offese (facile poi dietro un monitor…), volgarità, cose inventate contro l’Inter. Se escludiamo queste tre cose i commenti saranno pubblicati, siate voi tifosi Bilanisti, ruBentini o altro. E, si badi bene, ci tengo a tutte e tre; se volete leggere o scrivere puttanate contro l’Inter inventate ad hoc c’è il Corriere dello SporC, TuttosporC e tutti i programmi Merdaset, ma su questo sito non sono tollerate. Se poi volete solo discutere di calcio e non di favolette, allora la porta è aperta; e so che tra voi ce ne sono alcuni in grado di farlo (anche se, a giudicare dalle centinaia di messaggi che cestino, siete la minoranza).

Barack Obama is ready to start taxing the “rich”.  For Obama, wealth distribution begins with putting heavier taxes on those making more than $200,000 per year, and spreading that around to those who do not make nearly as much. Socialism at its best! America voted Barack Obama into office, and in doing so have told him that America is ready for his socialist tax plans.

I find myself wondering, however, whether or not Obama checked with his friends in the Senate before running on this “higher taxes for the rich” platform?  How willing are all these Senators making well over $200,000 a year to part with their money? Sure, some of them are hardcore believers in his tax plans, and I’m certain that they will feel “more patriotic” for giving up a larger piece of their wealth for “the good of the country”. But I’m willing to bet that some of those Democrats are going to hold on to their dollars just as hard as the rest of us are. Obama can’t pass his socialist tax plan if he doesn’t get enough votes!

Perhaps the greed of the Democrats will be the black-sheep saviour that keeps us from the grasp of a socialist, wealth-spreading government. It’s only a small light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s a light nonetheless.

$120,000 must be the new $150,000, no, it’s the new $200,000, no, the new $250,000. Huh??

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, in a radio interview on Denver, Colorado radio station 850 KOA today stated that people with incomes under $120,000 would receive tax cuts:

After months of stating that Obama would give tax cuts to “all working families” that made less than $250,000, that number has changed four, perhaps five times this week.

Those numbers for people who will have tax bulls-eyes tacked to their foreheads just keeps changing. In the whole “spreading” or redistributing the wealth scheme, those who will have their wealth “spread around” seem to be making less and less from one day to the next.

On Wednesday, “Oh, That’s Just Joe Being Joe” Joe Biden said the Obama-Biden tax plan would lower taxes for everyone making less than $150,000:

Perhaps in a “slow economy” or “financial crisis”, we just need to redefine the definition of “rich”. Wednesday, apparently, rich was $150,000, during Obama’s thirty minute indoctromercial, it was $200,000.

Perplexed by the four different numbers now floating, Fox News Stuart Varney, filling in on Neil Cavuto’s Your World, invited an Obama spokeswoman on to clear things up.

Miss Law seems to lower the threshold now to $45,000 - $50,000 if I get anythinng that makes any sense out of what she said.

If Mr. Obama, his running mate, a former Ambassador to the U.N. and sitting governor, or his “spokeswoman” can’t walk a straight line, let us do so here. Let’s examine some of the ways in which Miss Law tried to tap dance around directly clarifying which particular number is the one we are to believe:

1. $150,000 and $120,000 were amounts used because they fall inside $250,000, and so does $200,000
2. It’s not Mr. Obama who stated anything but $250,000, it was Joe Biden, and Governor Richardson
3. Since it wasn’t Mr. Obama himself, we’d have to ask Joe Biden and Gov. Richardson what they meant
4. Gov. Richardson and Sen. Biden were just saying those particular amounts because of the people they were talking to probably don’t make more than those amounts of money
5. Mr. Obama did say $250,000 and then $200,000, but that’s not equivocating
6. The discrepancies in amounts just reflect the struggle to define what “middle-class” is
7. Middle-class is really $45,000 - $50,000

Miss Law really cleared things up, didn’t she? Let’s see if we understand her correctly, taking these explanations, one at a time and correcting the circular logic:

1. It’s not a question of what falls inside the amount in question, and that’s not the context or language that was used by any of the speakers. It’s a question of where the threshold lies.
2. First, it was Mr. Obama who was among those confusing the issue. But also, if a candidate or campaign sends out someone to speak on their behalf, they are obligated to have their facts straight. If they don’t have those facts straight, don’t send them out. If they say something that represents the candidate’s point of view, we will take the person at face value. Otherwise, the candidate himself should call a press conference and clear things up. Besides, since Miss Law was speaking on the campaigns behalf, hence the word, “spokeswoman”, are we not to believe anything she says either.
3. We don’t need to ask Biden or Richardson anything. They already spoke. Were they rogues out there without campaign permission? Can we have Miss Law’s cell phone number so we can call and ask her what she meant?
4. So the campaign is admitting that they say things to different people in different places?
5. Huh?? Then what the heck is it?
6. The discussion is not regarding the “struggle to define middle-class”, it’s an effort to nail down a dollar amount at which certain incomes will be taxed higher and others given cuts. Apparently we are being clearly told that until the “struggle” is resolved, we’re not going to be clear on that murky middle-class definition. Hence, the threshold for “rich” is TBD. In other words, we won’t really know what the amount is until after Sen. Obama is elected.
7. Now we’re getting down to it. That $45,000 figure is suspiciously like the $41,600 figure we’d heard about earlier in the campaign: Sen. Obama had at one point in the U.S. Senate voted to raise taxes on  people with incomes above that amount.

Let us examine the definition of the word “equivocate”, courtesy of Merriam-Webster’s:

equiv·o·cate

1 : to use equivocal language especially with intent to deceive 2 : to avoid committing oneself in what one says

2 : to avoid committing oneself in what one says

Seems like the whole loopy discussion is the definition of “equivocate”.

Finally, let’s move totally into the land of common sense and sound reasoning. Is there any real doubt about what’s going on here? We’re being bombarded with so many amounts at this stage, so later, if elected President Obama can stake a claim on whichever amount is most convenient.

It used to be that according to Barack Obama, if you made less than $250,000 per year, you would not see an increase in taxes. Now, in his latest ad, Obama has lowered that to $200,000 and maybe even $150,000 if we are to believe Joe Biden.

And in Pennsylvania yesterday, Joe Biden said that tax relief should only go to “middle class people — people making under 150,000 dollars a year.”

It looks like Obama and Biden are finally fessing up to how much they will really have to gouge the American worker to pay for all that wealth redistribution they have planned. Chances are, anyone making over $42,000 per year is going to get gouged even further.

Desde el año 2004 la torre está cubierta con una malla, debido al desprendimiento de ladrillos que estaba produciéndose y el riesgo que eso provocaba.

Finalmente el ayuntamiento de Ricla verá como el Ministerio de Cultura, gracias a las enmiendas pactadas por CHA en Madrid a los presupuestos generales, destina 200.000 euros para rehabilitar la torre mudéjar de Ricla, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad y Bien de Interés Cultural.

La historia de la torre mudéjar de Ricla es larga. Paco Romeo, alcalde de Ricla, recuerda que en el año 2004 y estando en el equipo de Gobierno Chunta Aragonesista comenzaron a caer ladrillos desde la parte superior de la torre, lo que suponía un peligro real tanto para los viandantes como para los vehículos estacionados.

Ante la situación el entonces alcalde se puso en contacto con Patrimonio del Gobierno de Aragón, quien se desentendió de la torre, y fue Diputación de Zaragoza quien finalmente dio una ayuda de urgencia que sirvió para poner una malla que protegía la torre y evitaba que los ladrillos se desprendiesen.

“Después -recuerda Paco Romeo- hubo una moción de censura y CHA pasó a la oposición sin que el PAR, que ha estado dos años al frente del ayuntamiento, hiciera nada por avanzar en la rehabilitación de esta torre”. El pasado mayo CHA obtuvo la mayoría absoluta y una de sus preocupaciones fue avanzar en la restauración de la torre.

“A través de nuestro diputado en Madrid, hemos conseguido que entre las enmiendas que CHA pactó con el PSOE se incluyera una cantidad para la torre mudéjar de Ricla Este dinero nos permitirá quitar la malla y proceder a su rehabilitación para evitar nuevos desprendimientos”.

That comment was made by Bernhard Mullmann, a TV executive at Germany’s public broadcaster, ZDF. All the major networks broke their regular programming to cover Obama both in German and English. He went on to say that this trip was comparable to John F. Kennedy’s visit in ‘63.

Barack Obama has taken Germany by storm on the first stop of his European tour. It is estimated that 200,000 Germans packed into downtown Berlin to meet and greet him.

Hola, aquí les traigo esta pequeña entrada para conmemorar las 200.000 visitas que alcanzamos ayer (para los curiosos abajo las estadísticas, tomó 1 año y 12 días completar la tarea), les dejo la la invitación a que sigan viniendo XD , estoy pensando en crear una nueva serie de entradas llamada “Mini-Juegos”, tengo como 10 de esos que me gustan y siempre juego online, ¿Qué opinan? ¿Les gustaría? También tengo pensado en subir fondos para celulares 240 x 320, como una nueva sección, pero la verdad no se si la gente los baje, como con la de Wallpapers, no comentan mucho. ¿Qué opinan?

También tengo como 40 entradas para escribir, tal vez las escriba en el transcurso de la semana, van a ver un poco mas de variedad de lo normal, ya que son de temas nuevos, jajaja, no mas videos de “X” en cámara lenta.

Si amigas, anoche estuvimos de festejo en el c-box de howita, nuestro hogar adoptivo. La casa de la master of the masters llegó a la extraordinaria suma de… 200.000 VISITAS!!! Y nosotras estuvimos en ese histórico instante, yupi, yupi!!! Sabemos que estamos viviendo un momento historico y estamos realmente emocionadas. Tantas noches de espera, tantos momentos de incertidumbre (saldran hoy los subtitulos? ), tantas consultas (donde puedo bajarme…?), el nacimiento de nuestra enigmática y secreta organización… nos emocionamos amigas, ha sido precioso, nunca los calcetines oscilaron tanto, felicidades compañeras!!!

Y para Ud., master howita, nuestras más sinceras CONGRATULATIONS!!! (chicas, está bien? se dice así en inglés? eh? avisen, que si no es un papelón!!!)

Por si todo esto fuera poco hemos recibido en entrega express los archivos secretos de la última parte del jolgorio y algarabía de las agentes, en pleno bautizo de nueva integrante ya con resaca a cuestas (hay algunos retazos también de la despedida de una “aspirante”). ALOR SETAR, 20 Mac (tvpas) - Sambutan Maulidur rasul peringkat Negeri kedah disambut penuh makna oleh rakyat negeri itu.

Apa tidaknya, dibawah teraju baru Menteri Besar Ust Azizan Abdul Razak, lebih 50 ribu rakyat negeri jelapang padi itu julung-julung kalinya hadir memenuhi padang stadium Sultan Abdul Halim suka menanti.

Kehadiran 2 tokoh utama PAS iaitu Mursyidul Am Tuan Guru Dato’ Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat bersama Presiden Dato’ Seri Hj Abdul Hadi Awang menyemarakkan lagi sambutan hari kebesaran islam itu.

Maulidur rasul kali ini dianggap bersejarah berikutan ianya kali pertama anjuran kerajaan PAS yang baru setelah diberi mandat oleh rakyat melalui pilihanraya yang lalu.
