We all have to learn our basic skills when we start school. A B C’s and our numbers are usually learned in Kindergarten. Kids also start learning in Pre-k. Kids are also taught some of the basic skills at home, such as the alphabet. After we learn numbers, letters and such, we can start to learn to read. We also have to know how to write, not just recognize numbers and letters and also shapes. There are many things to learn throughout our education. We have Math, English History and other subjects. We learn the basics and build on them for further learning. We also learn which subjects we will like best and also ones that we can learn without a lot of difficulty. All subjects take time to learn. Some come easier to some of the kids than others. My sister excelled in all of her subjects. I had some troubles with some of my subjects. But learning the basics,will help you learn the other items you need to learn to have a successful education.

La segunda entrega (y al parecer, no la última) del personaje de comics Hellboy, en la cual debe luchar contra un principe elfo, para que este no se apodere del ejercito dorado. Una buena pelicula, con muchos efectos especiales, y en donde se le comienza a dar mas importrancia a los otros personajes, como el hombre pez Abe Sapian, y la mujer ardiente Liz sherman. Ademas, en esta entrega, el director se mete mas en el submundo que existe a nuestro alrededor, dando d conocer personajes de otras razas, y las guerras que se llevan a cabo en el inframundo. El romance, o mejor dicho, el amor de hellboy hacia Liz ya es algo sabido, y tiene su desarrollo en la pelicula. Por estos detalles, la pelicula tiene un guion soportable, y no es una pelicula de puros efectos especiales.

La trama trata sobre la tragua que hicieron los elfos y los humanos, hace miles de años, en donde los elfos esconderían el ejercito dorado (un ejercito mortal, e indestructible, que fue armado por los orcos), a cambio de paz con los humanos. Asi es como en los tiempos de hoy, el principe elfo, llamado Principe Nuada, decide que los elfos han perdido su trono en el mundo, y hace lo imposible por buscar y encontrar el ejercito dorado. En medio de esto, esta su hermana, la princesa Nuala (que se parece mucho a una version de Soledad onetto recien levantada de la cama), la cual escapa y busca ayuda en este trio de extraños superheroes. 

El final es bastante obvio, pero lo interesante de estas pelicula no es el final, si no como se llega al final. Entre medio, se da a conocer un dato de hellboy, que da el pie para que haya una tercera entrega.

Como dije, es una pelicula que si bien tiene efectos especiales muy buenos, y da una gama de personajes extraños que son un sazon a la historia, el guion no se hace aburrido, y resulta ser mas interesante de lo que uno cree.

Es una pelicula para arrendar, y para que una vez terminada, seguir pasandolo bien.

Yo le doy, tres renos.

S’s meeting was called for 10:30, it’s coming up on 11:30 now.

If she was getting laid-off how long could that take? 90 seconds or so? “Thanks for coming to see us today. Unfortunately, we have mismanaged our money and lost all of our important contacts and therefore clients. We have run our company into the ground and can no longer afford to pay you. Happy Thanksgiving.”

No matter the news, I am dying for an update. The sooner we know what is happening, the sooner we can set to work getting things back in order.

It turns out that this meeting was called by the owner of the company to discuss how and why things got so bad. Apparently, very nice owner-lady has been extremely ill. She left the company in the care of S’s supervisor while she sought treatment. Well, said supervisor essentially destroyed the company. They are working to rebuild and she apologized to S for making her worry all weekend. Looks like the supervisor may be the one without a job soon.

S would still like to move to full-time with #2. But now she can take her time, do it on her terms, when she is ready.

All is not lost. I am so relieved and grateful.

Diferença entre o operador == e o método equals: Resumidamente o método equals realizada a comparação dentro do Heap da JVM e o operador == faz a comparação fora do Heap da JVM.
O método equals é utilizado para comparar Objetos, ou seja, quando utilizamos esse método fazemos uma busca da referência do objeto na memória. Então temos que:
String nome = “Diogo”;
String nome2 = new String(“Diogo”)

“nome” é diferente de “nome2”, pois “nome2” é um objeto que tem seu valor referenciado(locado) na memória e “nome” não, é somente uma variável primitiva.

Então perceba:

- Comparar utilizando o método equals: (Comparação dentro do Heap).

        String Str1 = new String(“Diogo”);
    String Str2 = new String(“Diogo”);
       If (Str1.equals(Str2)){

Ou seja, deve-se prestar muita atenção quando for fazer uma comparação, pois, a utilização incorreta do método equals ou do operador ==, acarretará um resultado não esperado.

Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand have both been nominated for British Comedy Awards despite the recent phonecall scandal which led Brand to resign and Ross to be suspended.

Despite stepping down from presenting the ceremony, Ross’s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross has been nominated in the Best Comedy Entertainment category, while Brand is up for Best Live Stand-up Performer.

The pair caused a major uproar earlier in the month, after a voicemail message they left to Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs was broadcast during Brand’s Radio 2 show, upsetting listeners with its irreverent and crude content.

As well as Ross and Brand’s punishements, two senior BBC executives also resigned after the BBC received thousands of complaints about the prank, which saw Ross and Brand joking that Brand had slept with Sachs’ granddaughter.

The awards show, which takes place in December, has had its fair share of controversial moments.  At previous shows, off-the-cuff comments from Michael Barrymore and Julian Clary have led to embarrassing situations.  So the fact that Brand and Ross have even been nominated so soon after their recent misbehaviour has raised questions as to whether they deserve the honour, and - if either were to win - how this would look after so many have called for them to be sacked.

Fellow comedian Johnny Vaughan commented during a charity gig: ‘I’ve been getting a lot of these corporate gigs since Brand and Ross disgraced themselves. I’m booked up until Christmas. In fact, if Jimmy Carr happens to make a racist comment and Graham Norton does a George Michael, I’m going to be sorted out for the whole of 2009.’

It is not yet known who will replace Jonathan Ross, who has presented the ceremony for the last seventeen years.

Here’s wishing a very Happy Birthday to BITSAA (Goa Campus)!

November 17th, 2006 – LT-1 : That’s when Mr. Ashish Garg (CEO, BITSAA International) in the presence of Suresh Ramaswamy sir, (Late) Director Sir, M. K. Deshmukh sir etc and almost all the students of BITS, Pilani – Goa Campus (the LT had no space to sit, look at the photo!), signed our declaration of setting up BITSAA on-campus.

Happy 2nd Birthday BITSAA!

We have come a long way since then with numerous successful visits, on-campus interactions, virtual meet/interactions and knowledge-sharing sessions with distinguished BITS alums, and have strived to passionately devote time for the cause of making BITS-Pilani the most admired institute in the world!

I think the BITSAA team deserves a special big THANKS for making this possible! Thanks to our Late Director Prof. T. C. Goel sir, faculty in-charge Prof. Ramaswamy and our dear alums for giving your precious time and guiding our passion.

Backdrop: A Superb Journey Till Now!

Podczas kiedy jedna z najbardziej znanych polskich Francuzek - Mag, przepysznie przyprawia popieprzony świat, tak, że zajadać nim się może każdy - ja popadam względem niego w namiętność prowadzącą na granice zatrucia, która z pewnością zakończy się śmiercią. Bo życie należy zaliczyć do największych używek tego świata. Najdroższych, najdłuższych, najmocniejszych. Najlepszych?  …W każdym razie - półśrodek to nie jest na pewno.

Pewnego wieczoru rzekłam w końcu, że sprawy mają się w sposób następujący, a przy tym bardzo jasny: należy podchodzić do życia z okiem przymrużonym, bo tylko tak można liczyć na poważne traktowanie. Przy czym zależność tą można dość łatwo wyliczyć, korzystając ze wzoru na stosunek odwrotnej proporcjonalności uwielbienia jakim darzone są filiżanki względem częstotliwości z jaką się tłuką. Przy odpowiednich przekształceniach uwydatnia się samo sedno niedorzeczności. Zatem, być trzeba bezczelnie niepoważnym. Żyć trzeba - bezczelnie niepoważnie.

Daje nam się tak wziąć rzeczywistość, która jest podzielna przez co najmniej dwa - na jakieś Ty i jakieś ja . A to wystarczy, by w obliczeniach pójść dalej. By przekształcać bez końca, a więc rozciągać szerokie i zmienne, wedle upragnionych krajobrazów. Trzy wymiary mnożymy przez dwie perspektywy, od czasu do czasu podzielimy coś między dwoje - by zmniejszyć dystans pomiędzy punktami. Podobno 2 jest liczbą niebezpieczną, tu odwołuję się do właściwości tej liczby w dowodach matematycznych:  za jej pomocą można udowodnić niemożliwe, a więc zrobić wszystko. Chwieje się rzeczywistością, wystawia język życiu.

A więc: na dwa - tak właśnie uprawia się bezczelność. I nie tylko.

Swoją drogą, podejrzewam, że z podzielności świata na dwa logika klasyczna wywiodła liczbę wartości, którymi operuje. A skoro dzielimy na dwa, czego przesłankę stanowi a choćby i tyłek (co równa się dwóm pośladkom), to bezwzględnie przyjać też trzeba, że nie ma półśrodków.

Artısı: Net ve berrak ses kalitesi, eşsiz tasarım

Eksisi: Kulaklık jakı girişi ve gösterge yok

Sonuç: SoundSticks II, orta ses seviyesinde müzik dinlemekten zevk alan, ses kalitesine ve ses berraklığına önem veren kullanıcılara hitap eden bir sistem.

Harman Kardon, Harman Multimedia’nın JBL’den sonra başarı kazanmış diğer bir markası. Daha önce JBL Creature II’yi incelemiştik. Şimdi de Harman/Kardon SoundSticks II’ye bir göz atalım.

SoundSticks II, adından da anlaşılacağı gibi, 2000’de çıkan ve sadece Apple ile uyumlu olan SoundSticks’in ikinci versiyonu. Harman Multimedia’nın gerek JBL gerekse Harman/Kardon’da farklı bir tasarım çizgisi olduğunu söylemeye gerek yok herhalde…

Tasarım

Bu tamamen transparan 2+1 sistemin tasarımı gri rengi tanımıyor ne yazık ki. Nasıl derseniz; hemen söyleyeyim. Onu ya seviyorsunuz ya da sevmiyorsunuz. Nötr kalmak pek mümkün değil. Açıkçası ben; onu değişik ve hoş bulan takıma dahilim. Fakat zevkler ve renkler tartışılmaz elbette. Yine de çok değişik bir tasarıma sahip olduğunu kimse inkar edemez…

İki adet 10 watt’lık hoparlörden her biri üzerinde 1 inç’lik dört adet sürücü barındırıyor.

Arkadan baktığınızda ise bunların tamamen nasıl bağlandığını görebiliyorsunuz. Aslında tüm sistemin bütün iç aksamı dışarıdan görülebilecek kadar transparan yapıda. Fakat Harman/Kardon geçen kabloların daha hoş gözükmesi için üzerlerini mavi boncuklarla süslemiş. Açıkçası ben ilk gördüğümde belki bunlar LED’dir ve çalışırken hoş bir mavi ışıkla karşılaşırım diye heveslenmiştim fakat ne yazık ki bu kadar transparanlığa rağmen tek göreceğiniz aydınlatma Subwoofer’ın içinden geliyor. Halbuki bu mavi aydınlatma tüm hoparlörlere yayılmış olsaydı işte o zaman gerçekten de kusursuz yakın bir tasarım görmüş olabilirdik.

Ses açma kapama düğmeleri sağdaki uydu hoparlörün ön alt yüzünde yer alıyor. Sağ ve solda “+” ve “-“ olarak görünen bu düğmeler Creature II’de olduğu gibi dokunmatik. Hatta metalik dokusuyla neredeyse aynı….  Bunun dışında sistemin üzerinde, mid ya da tiz ayarını yapmak için herhangi başka bir düğme bulunmuyor. Bas ayarı doğal olarak Subwoofer’ın üzerinde bulunuyor.

SoundSticks II’nin en ilginç yanı kablo kodlamasının normalde olduğu gibi renkle değil farklı bağlantılarla yapılmış olması. Sağ hoparlörün bağlantısı normal tos jak çıkışına sahipken soldakinin bağlantısı PS2 jakına benziyor.

Bir hoş tasarım detayı da; uydu hoparlörlerin ayaklarında gizli. Bu kauçuktan simit, hoparlörün istediğiniz açıda durabilmesi için 270 derece dönebiliyor. İsterseniz yer kaplamaması için hoparlörü tam ortasına oturtabiliyorsunuz; isterseniz de açıp, hoparlörü daha açılı bir şekilde kullanabiliyorsunuz….

Özellikler

Açıkçası SounSticks II’nin tasarımı haricinde öyle çok ilginizi çekecek bir özelliği bulunmuyor. Hatta ayar seçenekleri açısından da biraz kısır kaldığını söyleyebilirim. Sistemin üzerinden sadece ses seviyesi ve bas ayarı yapabiliyorsunuz.

Üzerinde hiçbir gösterge bulunmadığı için sesi ne kadar açtığınızı veya kapadığınızı görme şansınız da yok. Ayrıca üzerinde kulaklık jakı girişinin bulunmaması da bir eksiklik…

Her iki uydu 10’ar wat subwoofer ise 20 watt çıkışa sahip; yani toplamda bu sistemden 40 watt çıkış alıyorsunuz.

Performans

Öncelikle SoundSticks II’yi alıp evi sallamayı planlıyorsanız hayal kırıklığına uğrayabileceğinizi söylemekte fayda var. Bu sistem bunun için tasarlanmamış. Oldukça kuvvettli bir çıkış verse de bu sadece bulunduğunuz oda için geçerli olacaktır. Fakat ses kalitesi oldukça tatmin edici.

Uydular inanılmaz netlikle mid ve tizler sunuyor. SoundSticks II’nin sesi hakkında kesinlikle adı geçmeyecek bir terim varsa o da boğukluktur muhtemelen. Bu durumun subwoofer için de geçerli olduğunu rahatça söyleyebilirim. Bu sistem sesleri net ve temiz bir şekilde ayırarak çok hoş bir müzik deneyimi sunuyor. Aynı şekilde bilgisayarda oyunlar veya genel işlemler için kullandığınızda da memnun edici bir performansa sahip.

Çok güçlü bir bas performansı yok. İşin özü; SoundSticks II, orta ses seviyesinde müzik dinlemekten zevk alan, ses kalitesine ve ses berraklığına önem veren kullanıcılara hitap eden bir sistem.

Genel Özellikleri ;

Dopiero po dluzszej nieobecnosci zauwazylem mnogosc kapliczek i figurek w okolicach Kielc.

Tam sie skreca ostro w prawo (na godz 4-5) i pogina kretym zjazdem przeplatanym polmetrowymi koleinami az wyjezdza sie z tylu najwiekszej strzelnicy wojskowej. Jeden z kieleckich paradoksow: jeszcze chwila pedalowania i legalnie jezdzilem po zamknietym terenie policyjnych koszar, ktore od strony lasu sa calkiem nieogrodzone. 

Osrodek Szkolenia Przeciwchemicznego

Pokrecilem w strone sredniej strzelnicy, gdzie na PO strzelalismy z KBKSow, a dalej do basenu Lesnego, nic sie tam nie zmienilo. Syf, kila i mogila.

Basen pierwszy: obecnie Rezerwat Dzikiego Kaczora - polowe basenu przerobiona kiedys na boisko do siatkowki plazowej ma Jozin z Bazin a druga polowe Wodnik Szuwarek. Basen porosniety jest brazowymi i zielonymi tulipanami po owocowych hejnalach.

Basen drugi: obecnie boisko do pchniecia-koszem-z-wiezy tudziez miejsce treningu skoczkow narciarskich, z ktorych kazdy wychodzac z progu kladzie snickersa na terakocie i nowa draske na narcie.

Z hala na Bocznej sie nie znamy wiec pojechalem w miejsce o specyficznym zapachu smarow i paliw. Musialem dostac zgode kierownika zeby ustrzelic tego Berliecika. Sie nie czuje jak sie rymuje.
