No Rebuilding

Many web site and blog publishing services require something called rebuilding. It means that whenever you make a change to the way your site or blog look, the underlying software has to rebuild all the web pages to reflect this change. For example, if you change the background color of your pages, the software re-creates all pages with the new color. Rebuilding takes time, sometimes minutes if your blog has a lot of content on it. As a result you are twiddling your thumbs while your web site updates itself, then you check the result and might change it again waiting some more, and so on.

The good news is that WordPress requires no rebuilding. Instead of rebuilding pages, we serve everything straight out of a database. Every change you make is instantaneous. You can publish content and tweak your blog to your heart’s content without any waiting around!
